You have to buy a gift card to use at the draft station. Pour your own. I didn't. I chose to enjoy a cocktail. (HH pricing) Black table tops and flowers give the place a semi formal vibe. The kinda spot a teenager could take his date and impress them. (Without breaking the bank) Me n my friend enjoyed several items off the 1/2 size menu and then we split the bill. Came to $50- so $25 bucks a head. ZERO LEFTOVERS. So in that respect it is expensive.

For a place called the library, it didn't really lean into its name/theme for the decor. There were like maybe 10 books lol. The food and service were fine. Great atmosphere and a beautiful restaurant. The chargrilled smoked oysters were absolutely…read moreoutstanding and were easily the highlight of the meal. I ordered the stuffed blue crab, and my husband had the Pork Coppa Tchoup with grilled cabbage. The grilled cabbage was excellent, but the pork was just mediocre, and the stuffed blue crab was good but didn't really stand out. Service was slower than expected. We eventually had to ask for our check, and we were never offered dessert. That said, the restaurant was hosting a large party, so I'm willing to give them some grace since I'm sure that isn't their typical level of service. Overall, we enjoyed the atmosphere and the oysters, but considering the prices, the rest of the meal didn't quite live up to expectations.

And then there was a picture of a skull lol. It's very spacious inside. Parking is like downtown parking, we parked in the street. My husband's parallel parking skills could've been better. He's too used to his back up camera. You wait in line and order. The taste of everything was solid. It's fresh. The Cajun dog is made with alligator and pork meat. Texture was good. It's messy so eat it with the fork and knife they gave you, which is my mistake. Everything just tastes better when you eat a hot dog without utensils. The paddie melt is also good as well. The rosemary garlic fries had good flavor and same with the onion rings. They happened to just bring us out the loaded onion rings so we were pleasantly surprised. Service is friendly. Very nice place. The portions were actually loaded because normally I wouldn't think I'd be full from the food but it was really filling. I give it a four out of five because it didn't blow me away. But very solid. Definitely give it a try!

I LOVE that they sell Grey Goose Vodka and Patron Silver Tequila in 200 mils at $9.49 and $12.99 plus tax, respectively. I bought 200 mils of New Amsterdam Vodka for $2.99, which I will utilize when making the best Bloody Mary you've ever had in your life (It's a meal!) this Saturday morning! I am soooo happy this store is here and it is open! They made this space just for the liquor store, so it can be independent of the grocery store. It is one of the BEST liquor stores in all of Shreveport-Bossier!
