He came promptly for an in person presentation to test the city water in my home and explain all the options. I was very impressed by him not trying to "sell" but rather ask questions to learn what specifically I was looking for the use of my home water. Once I decided on going with PureLux H20, he was able to send his technicians out to my home within 4 days to install the unit. Workmanship experience: Hardy and Hugo were the technicians, and they were extremely informative and diligent. They showed up punctual to the time they gave me in advance. I appreciated that they were very conscientious to ask all the questions in advance of where I would like the unit installed, briefing me on ease of access location as well as possible noise that might be a disturbance if too close to an indoor room. The installation was done within the time frame they gave me, and they left the work area clean after they left. Follow up: They came out again to my home after the unit was installed for follow questions and calibrations. All throughout the service, I was very pleased by the genuine concern for providing the best customer service from Josh, Hardy and Hugo. Water quality difference: The water in my house now is noticeable softer (no mineral residual left on glass) and the drinking water from the reverse osmosis now tastes much better, without the chlorine taste from the city water. Hardy connected the reverse osmosis unit to the refrigerator (for ice maker, and water dispenser) in addition to the tap spigot. Simple.... He explained to me that there is no money in exchange tanks and its a dying business. Okay I went into Lowe's with my friend who is a plumber and one of the workers in Lowe's said that…read morethe pipe my plumber was holding needed a water treatment to help with the pipes so in the long one will last so he said do you have a conditioner system in your home I said I use culligan and he said our system is better and I said tell me how. So he said you own it with monthly payments and it turns out the system cost $4,000.00 but if I would of went with the payment plan and the interest which they don't tell you comes out to be more than $6,000.00 so that was the first thing that they were not honest about. Then I asked them does it remove all the calcium like culligan does and they were honest and said not all of it this is a whole house water conditioner so it conditioners the water and you can drink from any sink in the house. So I tried it but my wife wasn't happy and when they installed it after a few days it left an awful smell like rotten eggs. So I called and asked can I return the system we are not happy with it and they flat out said no it's custom fit for your home which is a bunch of bull, they are just two tanks and I'm sure that all the customers have the same size tanks so I was disappointed that they didn't care for the customer concerns and well being, next in 5 yrs you have to replace the filters which is pricey, so finally I had enough and I am taking a loss of $4,000.00 and getting Culligan back in my home and I'm giving the tanks to a family member that lives out of state but for my home I need all the calcium out and soft water not like this system where the water is still hard. I hope that my post can save someone from making a mistake like me and save yourself money
