I don't normally write reviews but after reading so many bad reviews about Dr. Taylor's office and…read morehaving such a wonderful experience, I feel compelled to.
Let me start by saying I have HUGE dental anxiety, so much that it has kept me from going my entire life.
I ended up at Dr. Taylor's office as I woke up on a Sunday morning in extreme pain and knew I had to face my fears and be seen. I was SHOCKED to find that not only were they open on a Sunday, but were able to get me in right away. (Bonus, I live less than a mile away!!)
All staff, from the moment I walked in the door, was kind and compassionate and wanted to get me comfortable as soon as possible. They were very comforting with my anxiety as well and made sure to ask me, every step of the way, if I was okay. I was crying because of the pain and the fear and every single staff member, including Dr. Taylor, wanted nothing more than to ease both.
I have now had work done by Dr. Taylor and Dr. Regina and I am no longer terrified to continue working on my dental health at this office.
My appointment time today was at 2:00 and I was called back at 2:08, into a room in which Dr. Regina was already waiting for me. Again, addressing my anxiety and making sure I was comfortable and at ease. My procedure started right away, the Dr. was thorough in explaining everything to me and was able to save a tooth that we thought was unsavable, which I am unbelievably grateful for. Let me also say that I heard Dr. Taylor peek in, kindly, several times to make sure everything was going well.
I was there for several hours today and overheard the staff communicating with each other respectfully and professionally and truly working together as a team.
I've read a lot of the reviews left here and I didn't see any of those negative things written about the staff at all, at any time.
Dr. Taylor made a point to check in with me after my procedure done today by Dr. Regina and make sure that I was comfortable and that my nerves were calmed. He even let me know how good of a job I did, getting over my fears and addressing my dental health. Which to me, says a lot about his character.
I had zero issues with insurance or billing. What I did have to pay out of pocket was quite a bit, but considering the work I've had done, reasonable. They allowed me to split my payments over my visits so it wasn't such a huge hit at once, for me. We all know dental care is not cheap, so I wasn't shocked that I would owe more than my insurance covered and I felt that they accommodated my financial needs, well.
To address reviews about cleanliness, I thought the office was clean and tidy. It's not a brand new office, but it wasn't dirty like people have exclaimed.
Although I myself have not been active in my own dental health, I have taken my 4 children to the dentist their entire lives so, I have worked with many dentists over the last 20 years. I highly recommend Dr. Taylor and his team and am very happy to have found them!
