Amy was so sweet, kind, and professional and reassuring with all of my questions. I interviewed 5 different wedding planners and chose Amy when I noticed the price was right and she offered so much help and assistance with everything a newlywed would need help with. Let me tell you, she lied about nothing to this date! Leading up to the wedding, 7 months until the big day, our all-inclusive venue went out of business abruptly! We had to start from the BEGINNING! I'll never forget calling Amy panicking and feeling lost, angry, sad, mad, confused, defeated, etc. She immediately reassured me that everything would work out and she'd help us with everything. We had only a partial package with her and we were asking for services from a full package, and she reminded me that this was an emergency that we did not ask for. Amy and Abby sent over recommendations for venues, caterers, DJ's, Cake, Photographers, Videographers, etc. and March 2026 I was one busy guy but I ran contracts through Amy and her team and they reviewed each one and gave the best advice possible without saying "You need to go with them" or just giving one option. Overall, almost everyone we went with was an option from Amy and her team based off what we wanted. Wedding Day! The fun part, our wedding was PERFECT! When I say we were not allowed to be on our phones and not a single worry in the world occurred, nothing bad was allowed to reach us at all. We had a point of contact (someone from our wedding party) to answer all questions and check on us at the hotel during hair and make-up. Amy and her team (Mandy and Emma) made the flow of our wedding work perfectly! Our officiant missed our vows section and Amy strategically was able to help fit our vows into the reception which seemed to have worked even better. Amy and her team truly were there for us every second of the wedding and most importantly gave us a second to breathe after the ceremony. Long story short, EVERYONE should have a wedding planner, but not just a wedding planner, Amy Frances wedding planning! Our day could not have been as perfect as it was without her. She has become our friend at this point. She is organized, she is a problem solver, she is understanding, she is everything when it comes to celebrating love! Besides my husband and I finding each other, we are so thankful we found Amy for our wedding!

She helped us navigate all the questions of planning a wedding, and was always ready to jump in for us. She was flexible with our rehearsal too, as we weren't able to have it at the venue due to scheduling reasons, but she was happy to have it elsewhere and work with us. She was very communicative and easy to talk to, and quick to answer all the last minute questions and soothe the final anxieties as we got closer to the day (and there were many, as the forecast was looking quite stormy in the final week--thankfully the rain held off!). She kept us as calm as possible. On the actual day, she was worth her weight in gold, helping to manage everything and make sure it ran as smoothly as it could. We had a small issue with our shuttle vendor, which I didn't know about until it was handled and dealt with, all thanks to Amy. She made sure we knew what we needed to, and that we weren't bothered by the details we didn't need to know. I can whole heartedly recommend Amy for anyone planning a wedding!

At the start she said all the right things. But as planning picked up, our experience soured…read more We were clear with our budget. We worked together to set item level budgets and design choices (e.g. flowers, printing, etc.). However, each proposal we received was over budget. Communication also became a problem. When she overlooked scheduling problem between the venders and our requirements, she became defensive about her faults. Also, she promised she would only manage one marriage a weekend, but on our weekend she had two weddings. I wish the relationship would have worked better and I hope she learns from our concerns.

Our single best investment of the entire wedding was to hire Diana of Eventi Planning. We hired…read moreDiana to help with wedding day coordination, but in fact she ended up helping with planning, crisis management, and general advice in the months leading up to the wedding. Given that vendors often try to double as event planners (especially caterers, venues, and DJs), Diana had the difficult job of coordinating the coordinators. She did so with aplomb: building positive relationships with the other vendors, soliciting input on the master schedule, maintaining flexibility, and helping cultivate a sense of joy on the big day. She could easily charge double or triple for her services. Diana helped with the following decisions and more: creating a floor plan, hiring transportation for the wedding day (we used three vendors: a hotel shuttle, an all-purpose van, and a limo), hiring and negotiating a better rate for drapes, brainstorming ideas, communicating with other vendors, buying small items that we forgot (tea candles, a car decorating kit, and a guest book), lending us some common wedding items (a ring pillow, candle holders, and a "bird cage" for gifts), delivering ribbons for the wedding cake, and creating a master schedule. We also appreciated that Diana was fine with the unusual gender roles in our planning process, as the groom handled most of the planning. We found that some vendors were quite sexist in this respect, but Diana was fine with communicating with both of us. In short, we can't emphasize enough how thankful we are for Diana's help.

My event was great...BUT the Customer Service was horrible! I'll break it down in 3 categories:…read more EXPENSIVE: I held a women's empowerment event at Confetti's (Balt Best Events) a few weeks ago. When my event planner told me the price, it seemed very reasonable. Once I paid the deposit, the fees kept increasing. I was told that I could change my layout as I got closer to the event, but that was a lie. I couldn't make it to the venue by 6pm to pay my remaining balance the week prior. I received a call the next day about a $49 late fee. The venue also charged a 3.5% fee for all credit/debit card purchases. They also want $150 security deposit the day before the event. This was really inconvenient because I had to visit the venue way too many times before the event. RUDE MANAGEMENT: When the nice young lady with glasses helped me update my layout, I overheard the manager talking to her (the employee) in a rude/condescending tone about the changes I requested. It made me uneasy and I felt bad for the young lady. The next time I visited to pay my security deposit, there was another young lady who was very nice (at FIRST). She went to that same manager to ask a question in-person -- Instead of the manager answering her in-person, the she insisted that the young lady call her over the phone?? It was really extra and dismissive, but I decided to mind my business and knew this yelp review was going to be SWEET! I sympathized with both of the young ladies. UNPROFESSIONAL TEAM: The young lady (who I thought was nice at first - w/o the glasses) started talking badly about the manager. I'll admit I agreed with her because I remembered how badly she talked to the other young lady with glasses before. I also informed this lady that I planned to post a yelp review. She insisted that I should do so. Sadly, that young lady's comments about her boss were safe with me UNTIL she disappeared on the day of my event. She and my event planner had a disagreement about the start time to setup. We were told that we could come an hour earlier than the event, versus the 30min early that comes with it, for an additional $45 (more money!!!). That lady acted as if she did not just give her consent of doing so over the phone. So my event was not setup in time and people showed up while we were still setting up. I also needed more tables and chairs. Unfortunately, the lady disappeared for the rest of my event. We called the office phone and knocked on the office door - she intentionally ignored us! WHY I'M DISAPPOINTED: I'm usually very professional, kind, and genuine when conducting professional matters with businesses. I continued to be respectful and positive with each of them. What disheartened me the most was that I hosted a positive event to empower women and uplift my city. There's enough negativity and hate to go around, especially among women. We don't need more negativity and rude behavior. I also spent $400 more than what I was quoted when signing the contract. It would have been more if I agreed to other things I was told came with that price (setup, tablecloths, etc.). Lastly, the young lady that disappeared had the nerve to ask me about my event when I returned for my security deposit. She knew what she did and said nothing about it. The funnier part was that the manager (rude lady) asked for me to submit a yelp review. I gladly accepted and here it is! Only this time -- Her voice wasn't as loud, aggressive, and rude when speaking to her employee this time...I wonder why? ADVICE: Please be more professional to your clients and staff members. Our money is valuable. I had vendors at my event that also received negative impressions from the staff. Customer service skills are HUGE for being successful in today's society. Please do better.

The owner not only lies on her employee's but lies to her customer's saying things occurred that never happened. She doesn't oversee jobs and appears to subcontract their work. We emailed this company to see if they could do a balloon arch for our daughter's graduation party. They said they sure could. On the morning of the event the item didn't meet all of the specifications of what we ordered and the balloons started popping as it was being delivered. The delivery people worked to repair it (with tape that they barrowed from us) and took a picture and then left. Within 10 minutes of their departure more of the balloons started popping and the structure started falling apart BEFORE our guest arrived. The Owner expects us to pay for this eyesore that startled our guest with the sounds of popping balloons. You hire "professionals" so that you don't have to worry about certain details. We spent time chasing balloons and calling this company when were were supposed to be enjoying our guest and celebrating our special day. To make matters worse. We know have to argue for our refund with a company that doesn't stand behind their work or service and willfully will try to keep funds for a defective product and service not rendered.

The 2hands studio is a real life wedding Pinterest board. :-) We ended up using them for all table decor items, including mercury vases, antique mirrors, antique gold frames for our table numbers, candle votives and floating candle holders. We also rented a card lantern, a few sets of shutters (for our name cards), and multiple chalkboard signs. I also paid for the set up fee, which was well worth the cost as everything was executed flawlessly. They even helped me find a place for and set-up a family heirloom veil. Most importantly, working with Jill and Ally was super fun and super easy. They were collaborative and consultative. If I had found them earlier in the planning process, I am sure I would have found even more reasons to use them on other items b/c they seem to do everything. I would definitely recommend 2hands Studios to anyone planning a wedding and look forward to finding a reason to work with them again sometime in the future!
