Service: 10/10 (Our waitress was very patient with us and lovely) Value: 8/10 (Prices were very good for portion sizes [we left feeling satisfied]) The battata hara with harissa is soooo good and (be forewarned) a huge portion!! Gorgeous room at the back can be booked for special occasions. They serve tea and cakes for 3 pounds during the day. They have lunch specials as well.

It oozes Morrocan charm from the moment you walk in through the old Morrocan doors. The effort that has been put into this restaurant is more than apparent; from the ceiling lights to the Small tagine pots cemented in around the top of the bar. It truly was a delight to eat in a restaurant with such ambiance. The restaurant offer a more secluded eating area at the back to seat around 10-15 people on traditional seating which essentially are large thick cushions on the floor. It looks beautiful and can be booked in advance for larger groups (birthday dinner etc). They are also working on the upper floor which should be available for party hire. Now on to the food as i could go on forever about every little detail of this beautiful restaurant. For starters i had the cheese and spinach bourek which was lovely it was a decent portion and not too oily which as it is fried i am sure many know how restaurants can go wrong with this simple starter. For the main course i went for a lamb tagine and i wasn't disappointed, it was delicious. It burst with all the right flavors and was a very generous portion. Those of you who enjoy Morrocan/North African food will love this place, I have yet to try out other dishes on there menu but i can tell you something i may soon become a regular at this local gem! Enjoy!!

Walking into a dark but very inviting Mediterranean hot spot not really knowing what to expect I was greeted by nothing but love by the owner who is also the front of the house host, waiter and historian on the food. He exudes passion for what he does; which providing a wonderful authentic Moroccan home cooked meal. His approach is to make you like a real friend or loved one. He did not let me down. The dishes presented themselves. He used authentic Moroccan crockery to prepare a present some of the most flavorful food I've ever experienced in the city of London. As I always say, I'll set your expectations for what you want as you come in to any place I write about. It's a small intimate dinning experience where you should bring friends and loved ones. The decor will take you to a different place, away from the hustle and bustle of London, to a foreign land that has exotic foods prepared with love and the ultimate patron experience in mind. I had Moroccan wine for the first time and wont be he last. It was absolutely fabulous, I wasn't sure what to expect but I have to put Spain on notice. I highly recommend the MD Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot which had a very nice overtones of earth and pepper. You have to check it out if you find yourself in London and looking for a new expirence.

I love how it's very festive for the holidays just like every other place in the area. We came here with a group of ladies to grab some drinks, hang out and have some interesting conversations. One of the ladies mentioned that they are known for their oysters which then of course I ordered half a dozen. Not bad, but not my favorite. Would I ordered them again? Absolutely. You have very hard-working stuff behind the bar to serve you your beer and cocktails and even take your order for some must have oysters. Highly recommend check this place out.

If you go on a Sunday the menu states you HAVE to have 2 courses, I only wanted 1 but then you still have to pay £30. And we got the poisoning from the trout starter that we didn't want, but also didn't want to wast our money. The member of staff that booked our table the night before was lovely. The female member of staff who served us really didnt want to be there. Like she was hungover or is treated badly by management. Food was oversalted, not tasty and small portions. The other 2 guests we were with were also underwhelmed by the food. The trout starter came with a blue oil that was tasteless, and very unappealing to look at. We spent £150 . Overpriced. Underwhelmed and very unewell.
