If I could give a minus 5 rating, I would. The owner charged $153 to break our truck. LESS THAN ONE day after he did an 'alignment' on our truck, the upper control arm and ball joint came apart from each other and the wheel fell off. The repairs now total over $1300. I called him to ask for my money back and his reply was that he would re-align it for free. Yeah right!!! Why would I take it back to someone who did not do their job in the first place. Someone who makes up for their lack of care and attention to their work by trying to get as many cars and trucks in and out as possible. The owner is clueless!! To see afterwards that he gouged us for more than double what he charges others makes it worse. As you can see, the truck broke down on a busy overpass. The owner didn't care. VERY VERY VERY VERY BAD business. If you read this review, consider yourself warned. Great work. Great tech. And good price ($80). Fantastic work ethic. I asked for an Alignment and they got right on it. And their hours of operation are good for us who work day shift as they are open until 7pm. No appointments, just show up and wait your turn. A lot less hassle. If you pay in cash you can avoid the card fee they tack on to cover thier cost. I highly recommend them and will be using them in the future. My bad alignmrnt ruined by new tires even with proper rotation. After I got new tires, the gentlemen at Alignment World fixed it. And that is what you want. read more

Came to bring my truck in and after driving a few days my truck was still pulling to the side brought it back and the owner very rudely said that he was going to charge me again to do the alignment even though it wasn't fixed the first time. The following is my google review: The work at Alignment world is fast, but clearly something is amiss-- my car drives straight but the steering wheel is not centered. I tried taking my car back to the shop and they did not work on it again. Instead, they looked at the printout and claimed everything was within spec. Then one of the mechanics took my car for a test drive and said it drove straight... my car is clearly not centered. The steering wheel is offset by about 10 degrees to the left. I'm sure they didn't lock the wheel when performing service. This shop blamed everything else, first telling me that my tires weren't good, then telling me that my steering columns or rack/pinion is messed up. Somewhere in the middle, the tech said something about my gearbox... clearly grasping for anything they could blame. If my car had such issues, I wouldn't be here getting a simple alignment. Two different people at this shop advised me to switch my front two tires evens after I told them I installed new tires the day before. With all this said, I didn't bother trying to argue. It was clear they knew something was wrong, but their "solutions" told me they weren't experts. I came to this shop to save myself a few dollars. Luckily it was only 50 bucks, but this shop is run by people who don't know what they are doing. Their 'service' consists of following steps-- there is no real knowledge here. This works most of the time, but when it doesn't, you will find no help; you've been warned. read more

Worst job I've ever seen done! I bring my carvin and at first get told I need new tires before he'd do an alignment, ok fair enough I suppose so I go buy 4 brand new tires and come back well he does alignment say camber was all over the place but I should be ok. After leaving I look at the printout of tire positions before and after work was done and every tires camber is out of spec to varying degrees now the other angles were technically in spec but none were balanced to the other left rear might be .06 inside of range but right rear would be .13. And charge a fair fee - 4 wheel alignment for $83. I was there for a simple alignment and the job was done on time and profesioally. But I was advised that they needed to use the torche and I agreed. When it was time to paid the bill was +20 $ I mentioned that I was told 60$ And was quickly told that they told me about the use of torche. I badly needed alignment done as my tires were wearing out very poorly. I had stopped by my brake guys and had them looking at one of my other cars. When I mentioned this to them they referred me to alignment world. It was exactly as they said it would be. There was a car on the rack and one waiting. They told meTo just wait in my car and I would be up after the other two. My car was pulled up onto the rack hooked up to the machine the alignment was done the owner test drove it and I was out the door in less than 30 minutes. All that and it only cost $50. I was pretty pissed) also he does it for a reasonable price too (unlike Firestone $150 ) . I was in and out in 10-15 min. People are saying "he's mean and all" that's a lie... as long as you let the man do his thing he's an awesome guy. After 6 months my driver's side tire was bald. They were new tires. I remember watching him do the adjustments. He only spent 5 minutes underneath loosening a tie rod and retightening. There were a lot of customers waiting as I was first in line. I would not recommend this place. You might have a bald tire from this place not actually doing any alignment. read more

Gave me the option to purchase my own tie rods and bring them back which is nice because they didn't upcharge me. By far the most unprofessional alignment shop in the Portland area. I highly advise you guys stay away from Alignment World due to their rude service and unprofessional business practices. Go to the Line-Up Shop on Sandy Blvd. or 102nd Ave. The employees at this location seem to be unhappy with their job and refuse to explain to customers diagnostics of your vehicle, they will go off on a different tangent and for my instance; told me to leave their shop because they couldn't do anything. If they could have at least better explained the protocol I have to complete then it would have been helpful. I will never take my vehicle or recommend anyone to the Alignment World. read more
