Lindsay, the owner of One Mind Yoga, is fantastic. I've practiced at other studios in the area…read more(Green Village Yoga, and the former Terra Yoga) and she is by far my favorite yoga teacher. She's kind, supportive, and really encourages her students to be the leaders in their practice and do what feels right for them. She offers a lot of modifications, so her classes are great for all levels (unless specified otherwise). Her Friday night candlelight class has been a long-standing favorite of mine. I've also been enjoying her TRX-Yoga Fusion class. She teaches an inversion workshop once a month which I LOVE. I've seen slow but steady progress in my inversions since I started taking her workshop, and her feedback and guidance has been instrumental. If you're looking for a safe, welcoming environment to try out yoga for the first time, or maybe to get some more advanced feedback on how to improve your practice, then definitely take a class at One Mind Yoga. (The first class is even free!)

Well, hello, Lindsey, no need to reintroduce yourself, because I remember you personally from…read moretalking to you on the phone plus meeting you... I called initially to inquire about yoga and after getting a condescending and belittling response from you on the phone, I confronted your unjustifiably rude behavior. You then had the audacity to call me back to harass me by leaving an abusive and horrific voicemail when I did not pick up my phone. Not only you had violated my boundaries by calling me back without me asking, but you also were also full of excuses and a showed complete lack of humility which was unsettling. After I shared my experience and the voicemail you left on my phone, other students and teachers confirmed with me that you have treated them very badly before, and this type of toxic behavior from you is nothing new at all. You have acknowledged that while my other reviews came from first-hand experiences, you have come up with an accusation by stating that the review I have written of your business was fake news. How does it make sense for me to write real reviews for other places while writing a fake review for yours only? Additionally, most majority of my Yelp reviews are 5 stars and only a few are 1-star reviews. What does this say about you? When I read Ann Marie's review, I knew that nothing has changed. Same MO. Please be show humility and be accountable for your behavior for once in your life, instead of projecting your own sense of inadequacy and putting a nasty attitude toward others (out of pure projection) who had never done anything to hurt or sabotage you. You work from a twisted mindset that you must out win anyone or anything to prove your self-worth while kicking others cruelly when they are already down. Your MO is to condescend or belittle people to destroy their self-esteem and self-worth (I notice a pattern that you like to target women) to make yourself feel superior. Such a mentality of yours is clearly reflected in how you continuously treat others. And remember, the yoga community is small and people talk, and stories circulate. When I shared your voicemail you left on my phone with other teachers no one was surprised by what they heard. How you have treated your students and teachers will always follow you like a shadow, no matter how much you try to exonerate yourself, by continually smearing those who left negative reviews for your business. From your defensive responses full of excuses and self-denials, it's so clear that there is no reflections or self-inquiry about how you have hurt others nor trying to understand where others are coming from. And trust me, you GOT QUITE THE REPUTATION in the yoga community! And looks like you are still doing the same thing and no lessons learned, Ann Marie was speaking the truth, and you didn't want to hear it. Never mind reflecting back on your condescending and belittling comments and how might that have affected someone. I mean mocking & belittling someone for having a Costco surfboard? Oh because your surfboard is supposed to be more superior? Degrading and insulting someone in front of everyone? Seriously?!?!? I am also NOT surprised at all of your response to my post or to Anna Marie's. The truth will always prevail in the end. Before acting like a victim and cry me a river about your business, maybe think about how Karma works, and not forget a place like Yelp where the wronged customers can speak out and air their grievances. If you care so much about your business, maybe start treating people with more appreciation, respect, and dignity. I wish you all the best of luck on your healing journey because you need it.

I always found the staff great, the teachers amazing, and their rules common sense and based on fairness and respect for other students and for the small business. Fast forward to earlier this year. I injured myself and was away from my normal sports for 3 months while healing. I decided to give HYE a try again. Something to help build up a healthy lifestyle after sitting on a couch all Spring! I've been here 11 days out of the past 20 days and it's exactly as I remember it!!! Wonderful classes with top-notch instructors guiding you in their own authentic way, very nice humans who work the front desk, CLEAN, and perfect temperature. Yes, they have rules and helpful guidance on where to put your mat but their rules are similar to any other yoga studio or fitness establishment that offers reserved classes that I've been to! I know not to be late or not to cancel last-minute. Not because of HYE's rules but because that's the decent thing to do! HYE is a gem of Issaquah and we are lucky to have them!!

I have gone to countless different gyms and boutique fitness businesses but this one hit a little differently. Maybe the extra light in the studio helps, maybe it is their fantastic staff - from the door to the floor - but it all made me happy and feel more content with my day once I went. Its been a little minute since I've been, but just wanted to randomly drop by this review in case anyone has been wondering whether to check it out or not. The instructors are amazing and so bada**, I wish I could have their endurance to talk and workout so hard at the same time! Having tried many other classes, no one has beaten my experience with them because they are so in tune with their clients and knowledgeable in helping you find the adjustments you need if you want them, which other places lack. It all helped me strengthen things I didn't know I needed to strengthen. Keep it up, Barre3 Issy. (And take a class with Trina if she's still there - she'll kick your booty.)

This class challenged me to work on muscle groups outside of my normal CrossFit WODS. The class started with an introduction to the equipments, and class expectations. Barre3 is a combination of ballet, yoga, Pilates, dance, and functional training. The workout is done barefoot. We completed some stretching movements as a warm up to our hour long rou. The soundtrack slowly sped up in tempo signaling the transition to more challenging movements. This was a full body workout. The moves included slight modifications depending on personal dexterity and fitness level. The entire workout centered on engaging the muscles while slightly shifting positions. What I liked about the experience was the dynamics of class. It invoked a feeling of community and a sense belonging. The instructor was encouraging and the music selection was perfect. I'll definitely look into incorporating more of Barre3 into my workout. This location was clean and organized. There is available lot and street parking. I would absolutely recommend this workout to anyone looking to change up their routine.

I had no idea how much muscle, balance and strength would be lost during non weight bearing for 6 weeks. I had been to PT, a chiropractor as well as another non traditional chiropractor with limited relief. Then I found Jennifer. Not only was she able to help me walk with ease, but she adjusted my body and gave me more range of motion and ease of movement than I had enjoyed prior to surgery. I can't explain to you how KMI works, but I can tell you it has improved my life and quality of life. The two biggest changes for me were: 1) The ability to breathe! I know that sounds very weird, but I was a shallow breather unable to take in full breaths. I could not breathe into my belly or back but would instead raise my shoulders to make room for a deep breath. Jennifer did her magic and I was AMAZED when I could breathe deeply and expand my full rib cage (including belly and back). 2) Ease of movement. Even walking was difficult for me as my body was unbalanced and it just felt like effort to even walk. As Jennifer released my stuck fascia and enabled my body to move freely, I was amazed at how effortless it was to walk and move. The first time I went to touch my toes I couldn't believe how easy it was to bend forward and felt no resistance at all until my fingers hit my toes. I highly recommend the full 12 session of work! Your body will love you for it!! This is NOT traditional massage and the whole point of it is not relaxation and lavender scent, it is adjusting your body back to it's normal position and enabling it to function in the manner it was meant to. Thank you Jennifer for helping me live easier in this body!
