Before I even moved in the AC has NOT been working, I moved in August 6th and the AC issue has still not been resolved. DO NOT RENT here, I should've listened. It is frustrating getting lied to every time I go into the office or call, it's also frustrating having them scoff at you while you explain the situation and ultimately only want COOL FRESH AIR. I have never felt so disrespected; I constantly call, email, and leave voice messages and not a single person responds. It is absolutely ridiculous, it has been above 100 degrees these past weeks and my room feels like a sauna. I will take this down once this issue is resolved, otherwise it is staying up. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I recommend Apex on Perkins; they are responsive, will fix your issue ASAP, and friendly! I regret leaving them for this complex.

It was my biggest mistake to sign a lease with these guys . My apartments stinks since 5 days since my garbage disposal won't work and the drainage to the dishwasher is messed up . I have called maintenance several times , emailed them again and again but they refuse to listen . Do not live at avenue East !

Dried throw up in between the closet doors? Who knows what this is.

DO NOT sign a lease here. When I moved in the unit was an opposite floor plan than what we were told we were going to get and what is on the website. The unit reeked of Weed and was completely disgusting. After demanding a new cleaning she wiped it down with spray and called it good. The toilet was not even flushed when I moved in. The Leasing manager Kendra is oblivious to the issue and not helpful at all. They acted like it was our fault that the unit was not ready and did not even apologize for it at all. We also were not provided a mailbox key or our address. They do not care about their residents. Kendra and Hailey are horrible to deal with and automatically defensive. They don't do their job. The phone doesn't even work and when it does you have to talk to an AI person. Whatever you do, DO NOT rent from this dump. This place is the WORST student living option in Stillwater and has been a completely horrible experience.

Absolute shit wifi quality, and they say they're changing companies but I have not noticed any change within the 6 months I've been here so far. READ THE CONTRACT BEFORE YOU SIGN IT. Clarify what/when you are paying for before you pay it, as I've spent money for apparently nothing. Moved in in May, was told I'd have to pay a $54 annual service fee to the electric company they use, which isn't that big of a deal. What is a big deal, is that I paid that, then as of October I get a $4.50 monthly service fee AS WELL. To my understanding I had paid the annual fee so that I wouldn't need to pay fees again until next year. But apparently that "annual" fee is only through their leasing terms which start in August. So I paid $54 for technically only three months, and am still paying monthly fees too, because all they had to say to me was that I should have read the contract more carefully. ALSO my bathroom had mold/literal mushrooms growing out of the wall and when I had them come look at it they called it "water damage" and not mold. To "fix" it they scraped some off and plastered over it and called it good. It's growing back again.. Another thing, that they've told me I can't have fixed, is the A/C from floors above me drains into my shower. There's just an open-ended piece of PVC pipe poking out of my ceiling directly above my shower head. They assured me it wasn't something to worry about but I can't help feeling weird about that. Is that not a health hazard??

They have to call out the plumber on a regular basis to clean out these old plumbing lines. There are regular, dangerous gas leaks. Sometimes you can't take a cold shower or cook anything on the stove or turn on the heat in the apartment in the winter because they have to turn off the gas in order to try to trace the leak. There are plumbing problems that cause serious leaks and mold. There are electrical problems where some electrical outlets and lighting simply will not work. The old AC system causes a lot of condensation and mold. That old system gets knocked out everytime there is a lightning strike during a storm. It gets unpleasant in the summer. The have a revolving door for the maintenence people they hire. Almost all of them treat tenants badly and don't want to do anything. When I try to talk to people in the main office, they refuse to behave in a mature and professional manner. The manager called me "rude" to my face for trying to talk to him about unresolved maintentance issues. He doesn't want to be bothered and has lied to my face rather than fix problems. When I leave the main office after trying to talk to them, they start talking about me and laughing at me behind my back before I have even walked out the door. It hurts to be treated so disrespectfully by people who are supposed to take care of these problems. I regret staying here. I only did it because it was close to campus. I should have done something else.

My roomies and I made the decision to switch to an unfurnished apartment to save a little money. The staff promised that they would come pick up our furniture and move it all out within a week. It took 2 months (the entire summer) for them to do so, resulting in all of us paying higher rent for 2 additional months. We were promised upon moving in that all the appliances were new or had been replaced within the last 4 months. We soon found out otherwise; our ice machine did not work, a coil on our stove did not work, and our scratches in the appliances had merely been painted over and waxed to hide the damage. It took an entire month for the ice maker and stove to be fixed. We lived on the top story of one of the buildings, and the trap door to the "attic" of the building kept falling open. We eventually gave up on maintenance ever answering our service requests and replaced the catch on it ourselves. Our washer went out after a year, and it took maintenance 3 weeks before they would even come to look at it. You can only imagine the delay that followed in trying to replace it! As stated above, I lived at campus park for 5 semesters (over 2 years). Two months before my lease ended, we started having horrible insect problems. It was early spring, and for some reason, the top floor apartments all had bad bug issues. My roomies and I sprayed the apartment ourselves after, you guessed it, maintenance never answered our service request. That took care of the minor pests like ants, but we kept finding brown recluse spiders in our bathrooms and bedrooms. These spiders are poisonous, but the clerk we reported them to seemed unconcerned. We made 4 separate reports of the spiders and even turned in some of the dead ones to verify that they were dangerous, and maintenance still did not do anything. I personally bought a spider spray from the feed store and treated the apartment, then moved out. I'm not from Oklahoma, and my lease ended on a Saturday. If I wanted any help moving, I had to move on Friday. I explained this to management since I did not trust the clerks based on past experience (plus they are usually too rude to bother with). I was assured that a day early would not matter, given a final walk-through, and told my account was settled. A month later, I got billed for breaking my lease - a nice $3,000 fee. I never had any problems with the residents at Campus Park, but the staff and management clearly do not care for their tenants. The goal is not to make sure the quality of life is great or the tenants are kept as they should be, but to make as much money as possible, even if at the expense of the residents. I will never recommend any of the Campus Park locations to anyone I know. In fact, my suggestion to those searching for a place to stay would be to go somewhere else and not even consider Campus Park. There are lots of other nicer options in Stillwater and elsewhere that will actually value their paying residents.

Avoid This Place If You Have Visitors!…read more Absolutely ridiculous. This apartment complex thinks it's acceptable to tow VISITOR cars on a Sunday after just one hour of being parked -- during a casual visit to a friend. No warnings, no flexibility, just straight to towing and a $400 impound fee. These are broke college students, not criminals.  No human decency. It's one thing to manage parking. It's another to prey on young people who are simply trying to spend time with friends.  If you're thinking of living here, ask yourself if you want your friends to be afraid to visit you or worse, pay hundreds of dollars just to say hi.  Shame on the management for allowing this kind of predatory behavior.
