He's an awesome guy and really goes the extra mile to make sure you're comfortable and accommodated in your home. The rent is fair and honestly much cheaper than other apartments in Stillwater which don't even meet the standards of CCD Rentals. If you're a college student wanting to live near campus without spending tons of money on rent, CCD Rentals is the best company for you. They've got several apartments you can find on their website, and they offer scheduled tours of the apartments if you want to see more than just the pictures. Even if you're not a college student, I'm sure you'll appreciate the apartments they have. There's nowhere else my wife and I would want to stay in Stillwater, OK.

Last year I fired my managers and hired Milestone - they inherited a serious disaster. They got rid of a problem tenant, called me with updates, generated floorplans, and solved some major damage issues. They're straight forward, proactive, and honest. But most importantly, they took care of everything in a timely manner and re-rented my home at the worst possible time of the year for 37% more than I was getting before! As a property owner, I couldn't recommend them more strongly for management services. My only problem is that their website isn't well optimized for google, so if I forget what it is, it takes me a minute to find them online.

Upon arriving at the property, the front door was left unlocked and the garage door was broken. Also, the state of the property was absolutely disgusting, the carpets, bathroom, kitchen, none of it had been cleaned. The whole house, especially the carpets, smelt like the inside of a dumpster. It was literally atrocious. My family and I had to rent a carpet cleaner & buy cleaning supplies to try and get the property somewhat livable. In addition to that, there was drug paraphernalia & dog crap left in our property. How kind of them to leave that for us! I added a few pictures that were taken on my move in day. Throughout the 2 years that I lived there, we only had a few problems but they were never fixed or taken care of properly. They will send their "maintenance man" to "fix" the issue but I truly don't think they are qualified to fix much of anything. Also, you will not get your security deposit back. They will charge you for repairs & cleaning but then not actually do it for the next tenant. Not to mention, one of the front office ladies is always very rude and unhelpful. The few 5 star reviews were likely bought with reduced rent or some kind of gift card so take those with a grain of salt. They will also probably reply to this review & say God knows what. This company preys on college kids and doesn't care about anything other than money. So, unless you love to be disappointed & screwed over, do not rent from Stillwater Property! :)

Awful experience…read more Just really bad customer service. I would have to call multiple times for anything to get done (if it ever got done). When the lease was about to end they put a sign in our yard making it known that the house was up for rent. I had probably 10-15 people come up to my door telling me that no one was picking up the phone and then would ask if I could show the house. I would show them the house and then call Century 21 to let them know that some potential tenants had come to the house and that they were trying to get more information on the house. I felt like I basically worked for century 21 that last month. Don't expect to get much of your deposit back either (no what condition the house is in), but do expect it to get mailed to the wrong address or receive it late.

I am a truck driver so I was blessed to still have work, but the call for me to be home with my family came. This limited my work and as we all had to do. We had to utilize and work with what we have. This situation unfortunately revealed the true heart & nature of all of us. Within an instant of this quarantine, I was living in an area that fell to destitution. We moved from California to escape the drug and crime wave of the 80's that destroyed beautiful, family flourishing neighborhoods. Now it seemed to have somehow found our neighborhood again. As a citizen who speaks prosperity for all, I refused to give up on my neighborhood. I wasn't leaving, I'm staying and changing it! I made all efforts to work with the police, who have been awesome in helping reduce activity going on during these times. They are very limited to what they can do. I did however find out that my property manger cared little to none about the people they rent to or who they put around them. (I never liked background checks but I support them now!) I'm not here to tear them down, I'm here to give testimony of how God will see you through it all. Fed up I contacted Campbell Property Management. With nothing to my name and not a for sure return to work date, I told them my situation. I swallowed all of my pride and asked if there was anything thing they can do. Never--I repeat, NEVER--rent from H.E.W. Properties in Stillwater. My two roommates and I paid a…read morecombined security deposit of $1,050 for our duplex, and one of my roommates and I paid an additional $250 each in non-refundable pet fees. With a grand total of $1,550 in fees and deposits, one would expect not only a spotless, problem-free home, but also stellar maintenance and pest control services. Unfortunately, there was no such luck with H.E.W. Not only did we end up getting a house already infested with mice and bugs and no help whatsoever from H.E.W., we also had to call every day for more than a week at a time if we wanted or needed anything fixed. No one came before we moved in to do a walk-through with us, so the house was filthy and many things in it were broken (the fridge, washing machine and garbage disposal were a few). When we called to get them fixed, we got the run-around from the office for literally three weeks--they refused to come fix them until we threatened to withhold our rent payment and make them pay our electric bill (the fridge was running constantly). When we called about our doorbell (also not functional since our move-in date), they came after more than a month to repair it. It took three men two separate several-hour visits to attempt to fix it before putting a cheap, battery-operated doorbell set in--and affixed the button to the brick with a 3M Command peel-off sticker. Needless to say, it fell off. When we had to call to get our thermostat fixed, they only changed a fuse so it broke again two days later. The entire year we lived there, the gates of the so-advertised "gated community" were not functional. During the last month of our lease, they began locking the two side gates with chains and padlocks at 9 p.m. That would have been a fantastic plan, except they had no one sitting at the front gate checking residents, so anyone could get in anyway. It was ineffective at best, but more inconvenient and moronic. As if that weren't enough, we are getting literally none of our deposits back. Despite the $1,550 we paid initially and the fact that only two sets of mini blinds were damaged (and the rest of the house is in MUCH better condition than when we moved in), we are receiving nothing back. About halfway through the year, I met a woman who showed me her move-out sheet which itemized the deductions H.E.W. took from her deposit, and she was charged two separate fees regarding carpet: a $125 carpet cleaning fee, and a $100 carpet "wear and tear" fee. She lived in a unit with not even one square inch of carpet. These people are incompetent, greedy and rude. They will do everything in their power to make your stay with them as unpleasant and expensive as humanly possible. Never, EVER rent from H.E.W.

The pictures proved the lack of damage and yet HEW stood by their charges. This company stereotypes college students as filthy animals who trash their rentals. They will use that as an excuse despite the condtion of your rental when you move out. My advise, rent from them and trash the place because you won't be getting your deposit back anyway.

During my tenancy, they never properly fixed the ongoing water issues in my apartment. There was water coming through the air vents, and when I reported it, I was actually told to "take advantage and use it as a personal humidifier." Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. My living room flooded multiple times, even after repeated maintenance requests and updates. I consistently asked for help, but nothing was ever resolved. At one point, a dust storm came through the apartment, damaging my personal belongings and discoloring the walls--another issue that was ignored. Now, after being moved out for almost three months, I am still waiting on my security deposit. Instead of receiving it, I was sent a letter claiming that I owe them money. This company takes no responsibility for unsafe living conditions and treats tenants unfairly. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid renting from Enid Home Finders.
