Clayton is not only a shitty landlord but a shitty person. He doesn't care if his renters have no hot water or heat and he doesn't care that the people he hired to fix these problems leave a mess, don't fix the actually problem, and use the restroom with out flushing for me to come home to you wants to be worshipped for doing the bare minimum that is supply water like the lease agrees.

Love these guys. I've worked with some pretty awful proptery managers in Stillwater (they know who…read morethey are!!) but when I found Milestone Property Management, I knew I had found my new managers! Last year I fired my managers and hired Milestone - they inherited a serious disaster. They got rid of a problem tenant, called me with updates, generated floorplans, and solved some major damage issues. They're straight forward, proactive, and honest. But most importantly, they took care of everything in a timely manner and re-rented my home at the worst possible time of the year for 37% more than I was getting before! As a property owner, I couldn't recommend them more strongly for management services. My only problem is that their website isn't well optimized for google, so if I forget what it is, it takes me a minute to find them online.

Yes I live there since 2020 and I just recently moved back to my hometown Jamie Masterson is the…read morelandlord at the buccaneers apartments very poor attitude I was living there for a good while she was always a problematic anytime I approached it with an issue at the building she always accused me of being a drama queen when she text me or emailed me and it was a continued because if she's going to keep emailing me I want to keep responding and then she would say it with harassment as I was a tenant when I moved out in March of 2026 I was accused of many things by her and she was trying to charge me illegally she told me when I moved I could leave some stuff there in the apartment and they would take care of it what I did I got a text of complaints and saying I'm going to get charged but needless to say three other tenants and myself had mold in our apartment and we tried to get the maintenance to take care of it and it was untreated nothing was done about it again the landlord tried to charge me for that every little issue that I brought up to Jamie Masterson she tried to charge me and then I accidentally when I moved to Montana as a human mistake as anybody probably would do I brought the keys with me that belong to the buccaneers apartments she tried charging me a lot illegally even when I mailed them back she refused him the first two times from the male people after 2 months of moving here she continues as in Jamie Masterson keeps emailing me harassing messages claiming there's food in front of the apartment I rented from her I've been out of there for 3 months not my problem anymore and she still harasses me on emails and text messages to the point I had to report it to the police in Seattle Washington do not rent from buccaneers apartments they will charge you for every little mistake

Never--I repeat, NEVER--rent from H.E.W. Properties in Stillwater. My two roommates and I paid a…read morecombined security deposit of $1,050 for our duplex, and one of my roommates and I paid an additional $250 each in non-refundable pet fees. With a grand total of $1,550 in fees and deposits, one would expect not only a spotless, problem-free home, but also stellar maintenance and pest control services. Unfortunately, there was no such luck with H.E.W. Not only did we end up getting a house already infested with mice and bugs and no help whatsoever from H.E.W., we also had to call every day for more than a week at a time if we wanted or needed anything fixed. No one came before we moved in to do a walk-through with us, so the house was filthy and many things in it were broken (the fridge, washing machine and garbage disposal were a few). When we called to get them fixed, we got the run-around from the office for literally three weeks--they refused to come fix them until we threatened to withhold our rent payment and make them pay our electric bill (the fridge was running constantly). When we called about our doorbell (also not functional since our move-in date), they came after more than a month to repair it. It took three men two separate several-hour visits to attempt to fix it before putting a cheap, battery-operated doorbell set in--and affixed the button to the brick with a 3M Command peel-off sticker. Needless to say, it fell off. When we had to call to get our thermostat fixed, they only changed a fuse so it broke again two days later. The entire year we lived there, the gates of the so-advertised "gated community" were not functional. During the last month of our lease, they began locking the two side gates with chains and padlocks at 9 p.m. That would have been a fantastic plan, except they had no one sitting at the front gate checking residents, so anyone could get in anyway. It was ineffective at best, but more inconvenient and moronic. As if that weren't enough, we are getting literally none of our deposits back. Despite the $1,550 we paid initially and the fact that only two sets of mini blinds were damaged (and the rest of the house is in MUCH better condition than when we moved in), we are receiving nothing back. About halfway through the year, I met a woman who showed me her move-out sheet which itemized the deductions H.E.W. took from her deposit, and she was charged two separate fees regarding carpet: a $125 carpet cleaning fee, and a $100 carpet "wear and tear" fee. She lived in a unit with not even one square inch of carpet. These people are incompetent, greedy and rude. They will do everything in their power to make your stay with them as unpleasant and expensive as humanly possible. Never, EVER rent from H.E.W.

On top of keeping the entire deposit, we were billed an additional $25 each for "office fees to cover the move out process". That is what the home owners pay the property managers to do and they are trying to double charge the renters for it. We were provided a damage report sheet with an itemized list of bogus fees and charges. I called HEW to request the pictures that were taken during the walk-through. The pictures proved the lack of damage and yet HEW stood by their charges. This company stereotypes college students as filthy animals who trash their rentals. They will use that as an excuse despite the condtion of your rental when you move out. My advise, rent from them and trash the place because you won't be getting your deposit back anyway.

I've been waiting for over six months to get a dishwasher replaced that's…read morebeen sitting unable to drain and now has black mold inside of it, my kitchen light needs to be completely rewired and replaced, the master bedroom that I'm supposed to be in has no a/c running to it and I've submitted that as a maintenance request several times only to watch the new maintenance guy scroll through the iPad and mark everything as complete as soon as I submit it while I'm standing there staring at him in the office, the small bedroom has a huge hole in the ceiling from where the roof was damaged during this past spring's severe weather and the water leaked in and they flat refuse to fix it or answer any questions I have about when it will be fixed, and on top of all of that I have fleas from my neighbor across the hall that the office refuses to spray for. Also back in February I had my rent stolen and was never reimbursed or even notified about it. I had to get a ledger from the office for something else and found out that way that I had an entire month's rent stolen from me and there's little to nothing that I can do about it now. So thanks Chapel Ridge. DO NOT MOVE HERE!
