Great wraps and fresh ingredients, definitely will go back. I did pick up but the atmosphere is nice and everything was clean

We've been wanting to try this restaurant for quite a while, and we were pleasantly surprised on how the meat was perfectly moist and deliciously seasoned. Today I re-learned that, "döner kebab" is a Turkish dish with meat cooked vertically on a fire rotisserie, and then meat shavings are sliced off as it cooks. I also re- learned that it's delicious! Also would like to note, there is a really friendly restaurant staff. Additionally, the customers were all very nice. It's really nice having conversations, with other patrons about the deliciousness of the food. Furthermore, The place is very clean, & very cozy, just a great place to go in for Doner. I'm wondering why it's called "Alien" Doner. I'm assuming because - the taste is so good, it's like being from another world ?

Ah Döner... hard to find in America yet this spot appears in Garden Grove on the side of the road, once every weeknight. Ambiance is casual and street-y. Parking is rough but the wait is worth it! Sauces complement the savory and succulent Döner and this is a nice little gem nestled in Central Orange County! Staff is friendly and attentive, and ensure to get into line to promptly submit your order!

If you are craving actual, authentic Turkish yaprak döner, leaflets of stacked, thin-sliced layers of perfectly seasoned juicy beef or chicken döner, this is the spot! The lentil soup, the bread, and all the sides are all delicious and taste like home. I've had the plate with both chicken and beef, as well as the beef sandwich, but you can do the plate, the classic wrap, or sandwich; you can't go wrong with any of them. Good portions, amazing taste. Will try the iskender or a wrap for lunch next time. Hands down the best döner in the U.S., on both sides of the Mississippi :) Most "döner" places nowadays just put ground beef on a stick and call it a day. This is finally a local real döner place done the proper way. It's been so long since I've had remotely good döner that eating here, the flavor was so delicious and out of this world that it was almost... alien :P Friendly staff, great service, incredible food, great atmosphere: have to give it a try!

Alien Döner really lives up to its name, out of this world. The döner wrap was loaded with juicy, well-seasoned meat, crispy potatoes, and flavorful sauce. Everything tasted fresh, and the portion was very filling. The restaurant is clean and modern, and ordering through the self-service kiosks was quick and easy. Food came out hot and fast. If you're looking for great Turkish döner with a modern setup, this spot is a must-try. Highly recommended.

It is so exciting to have new halal food spots in the neighborhood and Alien turkish Doner is one of the newest options. The food tasted great but the portion size is pretty small for the price in my opinion which is the only reason I am not giving 5 star rating. I also liked the running self serve cold ayran dispenser they have. The staff is friendly and the location is quiet with plenty of parking always available in this shopping center.

I went to Alien Döner and they must be staffed by extraterrestrials because no human delivers service this good. I've never been welcomed so warmly -- they treated me like I just landed from a long space mission. The döner? OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. I'm a huge foodie and I've had döner all over the planet -- Turkey, Europe, everywhere -- and this is the best I've ever had. Perfect flavor, crazy quality, and portions that could feed a small galaxy. If you're looking for amazing et döner and next-level service, beam yourself here immediately!

I believe this place recently opened up as I had never noticed it there. As you enter you see a menu above with options for plates, sandwiches, and wraps. But on the kiosk they have a lot more variety of items so do not be fooled by the small menu of options. I scrolled thru and the had some great options with meat over fries, and other dishes. But I decided to get their Beef Lunar Cycle which were wraps cut up and served with Lebne and Rice. The sauce that came over the wraps was amazing! And the rice with vermicelli noodles just had such a nice texture and flavor that I wanted more. The meat though was a little dry hard for me. If the meat was a little more tender and juicy it would have been amazing but maybe it was just this day. They have a little seating area inside for dine in, one thing I would say is for the staff to maybe greet or interact with the guests. Since there's the kiosk the interaction is very minimal but it would add warmth by greeting and thanking guests as a part of customer service.

Honestly I thought this was another kebab place in Lake forest, but it turns out I've never been to a doner concept like this. I think it's the 1st of its kinda around here. Ordered the beef döner plate which was juicy big portion of meat that came with crispy fries. The meat was well seasoned and thinly sliced. Although the portion was big I ordered another one to share with wife. This is the 1st time I felt like tasting a real tender doner with smoky flavor. It came pretty quick too we were surprised. Can't find doner anywhere else more authentic than this place makes it. Hats off

The service was super friendly and quick, everyone working there genuinely seems to love what they do. They happily walked me through all the options, from wraps to plates, and you could tell everything was made with care rather than rushed out. The portions are generous, the prices are totally fair, and the quality is way better than you'd expect from such a relaxed, casual spot. Whether you're popping in for a quick bite or settling in for a laid-back meal, this place serves up Turkish döner that's flavorful, authentic, and seriously satisfying.

Easy ordering at a kiosk. One man shop making the food. Very tasty - not a place to sit down at but great for grab-and-go meals.

The portions were large, and the atmosphere was very relaxing during our visit. The server Habibi!!! was friendly and attentive. I'm usually very particular about food, but this place did not disappoint. We ordered the mixed platter for two, and it was excellent. I'm a big eater, but my wife and I still couldn't finish everything. It was so good that we packed the rest to go. Out of all the places I've tried, this one really stands out for both taste and quality. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely come back.

We showed up around 1 PM, which should be prime lunch time, and the place was completely empty. Not just quiet, I mean literally no one there, which immediately felt off. Even finding the entrance was confusing, especially if it's your first time. The exterior didn't help either. It looked sun-damaged and like it hadn't been maintained in a while, which set the tone before we even walked in. Once inside, things didn't improve. A guy greeted us briefly and ran to the back, and then another staff member asked if we wanted to sit inside or outside. The first thing we noticed was how stuffy it felt. No airflow, no ventilation, and when I asked if the AC was on, he said no. At that point, it just didn't feel comfortable staying. My friend and I looked at each other like, are we really about to eat here? That feeling alone says a lot. They do have an outdoor seating setup with what looks like Persian-style lounge seating, which could actually be really nice, but even that area didn't look clean or maintained. It had potential, but it just didn't feel inviting. We ended up leaving, and shortly after, another couple walked in and chose to sit outside, probably for the same reason we didn't want to stay inside. Honestly, this place feels like it could have a good vibe if it were busy and properly maintained, but right now it just feels neglected. Between the confusing entrance, lack of upkeep, and uncomfortable indoor environment, it was an easy decision to walk out.

I was hoping the leftover falafel would taste better the next day, but sadly, it didn't. Chicken and beef kabob were decent. Kinda bummed how they didn't have some sort of combo bowl. You'd have to buy extra meat if you wanted to try different meats together. The extras and sides were quite pricey, too. We also tried a variety of flatbreads. The spinach and cheese was our favorite. We liked the zataar one, and the meat with jalapenos was just ok. The thick creamy garlic sauce went well with the thin, crispy flatbreads, while the runny white sauce tasted bland and slightly bitter (unpleasant with everything, to be honest). Overall, the food is fine, but I wouldn't go again. A few tables were available inside the small, simple-looking shop, but it felt a bit awkward eating there. Staff were not very attentive, but once we got their attention, they were helpful.

The tabbouleh is awesome - this is pretty much identical to mine so of course I would love it. The first time I came, I got the spicy falafel; The second time I got the regular. Just based on those two visits, I would recommend the regular. The spicy wasn't actually really spicy, and the patties were almost burnt. It tells you how good everything was that I still came back though. Second visit I got the regular patties and I really really enjoyed the bowl. Every ingredient is fresh and delicious, tahini is great, and there's a shaker of zataar for seasoning on the counter. Great prices, great owner, great food. Big thumbs up. Gotta try one of the fresh made flatbreads or wraps next time.

"I mean we all knew the food would be good once we tired that heavenly Baba Ghanoush." "I'm not…read moreeasy to please but this Baba Ghanoush makes me so happy" are the words that left my friends' mouths. The food was to die for. I cannot express how every aspect of the food was amazing: the Baba Ghanoush, Tzatziki, Gyro Meat, Rice, etc. All just wonderful. A bit pricey, but it will either fill you up or give you amazing left overs! Then the desserts were inexplainable. Their Napoleon an ice cream pastry dessert, fluffy puff pastry layered with sweet French vanilla cream, served alongside ice cream to drape on top adorned with a sweet topping elevating the vanilla some place new, was a delight to the tongue. Then their Greek Sunday was an extreme surprise but had the table fighting. Vanilla ice cream topped with Carmel drizzle, pistachio, and othering flavors, decorated by fried pita chips dusted with cinnamon sugar. (Which I must admit reminded me so heavily of some Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. Furthermore as they were leaving and the Sunday sat unfinished, I downed a fried pita chip because they were so good :P) It was such a wonderful evening here! By the way Danny was a charm! Super sweet, and almost got away with getting us all to get a dessert, and almost slipped by with getting someone to get another beer! A great energy and super patient with us. Something that I cannot make, something that I've tried, yet the establishment still finds a way to give me a different and enjoyable experience. Boneless Chicken and Beef Koobideh Combo: One of the most dangerous things to order, as both things can either come out as dry, or start off as great, then dry up before you can finish. None of those scenarios happened here. The chicken was soft, juicy, seasoned very well, and it stayed that way. The beef koobideh had this smoky flavor profile, which is different from what I normally expect, and I liked it. Potato Boloni: I've never had boloni in my life, and the closest comparison I have is a Chinese or Korean pancake. The boloni had areas of spiciness, and I think it had room to go higher. It's definitely an appetizer, and I won't mind having it again. Service: There were only 2-3 occupied tables when we went. I think the staff had plenty of time to take our orders, give us water, and the food arrived within a reasonable time. Ambiance: You could tell that the restaurant was designed to host wedding receptions or larger parties in mind. Stage, lights, and a bunch of stuff that may be overwhelming for some. I didn't mind. Good food is all that matters.
