Honestly, the next day I feel a bit sore, like I had an intense workout the day prior. The day after that though, I feel amazing. I carry a lot of stress in my shoulders and upper back. The 1st time I went, they kept asking if I was okay but I think I had such severe knots that it felt like I was tensing. It was once described to me as my muscles felt like it was "cracking" from the massage. I work a lot with very long hours. If I start to feel like my back is hurting too much, I make an appointment and I am good for a while. I would like to try and go regularly so I don't even get to the point of being in extreme pain. Their online appointment system is also really easy to use. I've never had a problem getting a time slot that worked for me, even the day of. I'm flexible with whomever does my massage but if it's an issue for you, make sure to confirm first. My only con with this place is that sometimes the person doing my massage does not speak English very well, but as long as I let them know as soon as I arrive, someone will translate my message for me. Also, the price cannot be beat. I've been to a few massage places in El Paso that were 2-3 times the price of this place and nobody has been able to get out all the knots and tension like this place can.

The reason I went here is because of the reviews. Also, I was recommended. As I walked in the Owner I believe Julie was very nice. Very kind person. I explained to them that I had a health condition and that I needed a certain type of massage. They were very helpful. They were very kind. The person I got was so soft and gentle. She was so helpful and she asked me several times if I was OK. They made me feel very comfortable and welcoming. I must say the room inside it was very beautiful the lighting the whole atmosphere was very relaxing. I will be coming back here again.

I explained to him that I would move my vehicle and he rolled his eyes and walked away. Also keep in mind, the parking spot did not specify it was for the massage business only.

I have seen this place before because it's near Fort Bliss and it's right by the Pho place and cigar store. I called and although Sasa's English is pretty limited, she was extremely warm and friendly. She told me to come right over and for $60/hr she gave me a full body massage, with hot stones! Holy cow! That was terrific! It was very relaxing and my neck feels better. Thank you Sasa

I brought him to see Alex Lopez at Sundown Massage for a deep tissue massage for a little bit of relief. The VA has been filling my husband's stomach with nothing but narcotics and lidocaine patches to dull the pain so we needed to try something different. We walked into Alex's absolutely Zen-garden home and the first thing that hit us was a blast of refreshing aromas that would calm a raging beast from a tantrum! Next, Alex's warm smile and beautiful demeanor eased making his home feel like ours! We were not customers at a place of business; we were old friends visiting a retreat spa to get away from any and all problems just outside of the front door. My husband has PTSD and meeting new people, especially in a confined space such as a private massage room with one we just met, should have sent him into a rage filled trauma episode. Alex made sure that my husband felt super comfortable and with a serene atmosphere in the room, he went to work on my husband's war torn body. Although the pain of a deep tissue massage is enough to make a grown man wail in agony, Alex did his best to make sure and put my husband at ease through each knot and cramp. Working his way on his surgery scars, Alex made sure to relieve every pressure point without causing excess pain. My husband came out looking like a wet linguine noodle but he actually claimed that he regained some feeling in his legs! I'm not claiming that Alex is a miracle worker by any means but he is definitely our guardian angel!! As per my husband: We highly recommend and encourage any and all Veterans, disabled or not, to visit Alex at Sundown Massage because he is not only legit but appreciates the Warfighter and works extra hard to make sure that we are back to fighting condition or as close as possible.

I received a locker that contained a robe and sandals, which I used in exchange for my personal items for safekeeping. Next, I headed to the relaxation room, which was dimly lit and had a soothing ambiance. In this room, there was a beverage station offering water, teas, and snacks, including my favorite--chocolate-covered almonds and trail mix. After spending some time there, I was called in for my first service: a holistic manicure. Amber was my technician, and she was both wonderful and attentive. I thoroughly enjoyed the manicure experience, and my nails looked fantastic. After the manicure, I returned to the relaxation room to wait for my massage. I have no words to express how great the massage was. My therapist walked me to the treatment room and gave me the privacy to get settled on the massage table. Climbing into the warm bed--complete with a heated blanket--felt amazing. Before I knew it, my hour was up. The experience was so incredible that it definitely left me wanting another session. Overall, my experience exceeded all my expectations, and I can't wait to return. Well worth the splurge!

First please know they will charge whomever you gift the card to a deposit that they must pay when they schedule their appointment. They will redeem but why should someone have to pay a deposit to use a gift? (It is half of what the services cost) I scheduled an appointment for my daughter and I to use our gift cards and they ended up canceling because the day of the appointment it snowed for 45 min in El Paso so they shut down for the day. Just consider these things before buying and gifting spa treatment gift cards from here. Too many hoops to jump for a gift!!! Very inconvenient!
