Out of all of the Doctors that I visited during my time living in Bradenton/Sarasota, Dr. Okuhara…read morewas by far the best. If I were to ever move to the area again, she would be my first choice. She believes in preventative care and is extremely professional. Her offices are clean and well run, she truly cares about her patients, and she is easy to talk to. Since money was always an issue for me, she went out of her way to give me samples or discount coupons on my prescription medications, when they were available. She also made sure to discuss every aspect of life with me that would affect my health; such as diet, stress, excercise, family history, and overall well being. She has also given me excellent referrals and worked with my insurance companies to make sure that my preventative care is covered. Sometimes her office staff and nurses can be pushy or rude, since she is in a shared office complex with other doctors.

Hands down, I discovered that Dr. Okuhara excels beyond my several decades of experience in going to doctors. If the criteria include: 1) Professional competence; 2) Time with patient; 3) Diagnostic ability (especially outstanding); 4) Availability; 5) Excellent referrals to top-notch specialists (best experiences with her referrals every time); and 6)) Compassionate billing practices and office procedures, Dr. Okuhara gets 6 stars. cb

That's spot on for Dr. Marciales (Just in case, it's pronounced Mar-see-ah-liss). Since we're in Bradenton, I'm figuring that many folks may be coming here looking for a physician for an elderly family member. If that's the case, you've found your man. We were looking for a physician for my grandmother when we moved here, and heard about Dr. Marciales. Since then (about three years ago), we've found him to be patient, caring, compassionate, competent, and extremely experienced caring for the elderly. He takes the time to discuss with both patient and family, and is always available and attentive. His staff is great as well. Last but not least, I should add that being a healthcare professional myself, this is not an easy review to get from me. Dr. Marciales is as good as it gets here in Bradenton.

Dr. Asi took my call on a Saturday morning and saw me in his office in less than an hour to drain the excess fluid that resulted in immediate pain relief. But this wasn't the best part. He worked ordered tests to determine the root cause of this excess inflammation and built a customized plan to put me on a path so I can thrive and live my best life in my 60's. None of this would have happened this quickly with a visit to a typical urgent care. I am forever grateful for his dedication to my health and responsiveness to my needs. Lastly, I also fondly recall being in my optometrist's office and needing information from Precision health's office, and I said "Let me call my doctor" to which the optometrist replied "that will take forever". The look of surprise on my optometrist's face when over the speaker phone my call was answered on the first ring and the answer needed was delivered immediately.
