Once I arrived, Gen (my stylist/owner) and I discussed all the different routes we could go and what would be better for my lifestyle and how regularly I planned to upkeep. It was a long process (highlights, toner, color, cut, blow dry), but she was extremely gracious and kind throughout. I even asked if we could take some length off, which was way more than the trim I originally asked for and she was very accommodating. The end result was amazing - exactly what I wanted and a true testament to her coloring expertise as my hair is now so dimensional and fun! I felt well taken care of and the vibe here is awesome (chic decor and amazing music playlist). The stylists are truly incredible, as they really care about what they're doing and making sure their clients look and feel their best. It's located in a shopping center right on Bird Road, so there's parking available right out front. Will definitely be coming back!

Everyone is really nice and I was in and out in about an hour and a half. I did a gel mani and regular pedi with Valeria the first time I went and while she did my feet pretty good, my nails were not really the best, AND the mani chipped and peeled in less than a week. Regardless, I decided to go back and give her another shot. I went last Friday and did a regular mani/pedi with the same girl. My nails came out worse than the previous time and I already have lost polish on two nails and the rest are chipping. While I'm inclined to go back and try a different person, because of their great prices, I'm not 100% sure it's worth the money if the paint is going to fall off almost immediately.

Her bangs were not cut straight and the bangs extended all the way back over her ears. It is incomprehensible how a professional does not know how to cut bangs. The hairdresser, I found out, has not been there long, but regardless. I was very upset to say the least. So much so that I could not keep my mouth shut and later phoned them, spoke to the owner who told me to bring her back in when the bangs grow out a little and he would trim her hair again for free. That is very appreciated, but what's done is done and the side burns are not going to grow out for a months. I would give this place 1 star but the owner was very nice and the manicurist did a great job. It is now a month later and I've decided not to go back to this place. Still very upset that they can't get a simple haircut done right. As for the mani and pedi I'm sure I can find another good place in the vicinity. I've also downgraded the amount of stars from 3 to 2. The owner was very nice and apologetic, but really, how would I go about returning to this place and explaining why I should have the haircut corrected for free? By the time it grows out he will not remember who I am. And I'm not about to walk in and argue the point. So that was my last visit there.

Lastly, a tip for those who drive there and are running perpetually late like me: It took me an embarrassingly long time to discover that if you park in the garage right off Sunset (next to Ra) and walk down the stairs, you wind up in the parking lot right behind the salon. The lady at the front seemed very nervous about making me wait; first telling me it would be 15 minutes and then frantically running to get someone to take care of me. She seemed pained to even speak to me when I asked her questions. I told her what I wanted and she told me "nobody gets that cut anymore so I'm not doing that." I should have left at this point, but for some reason I took her advice and let her cut my hair. I couldn't really tell what she had done but even after I asked for no bangs- I ended up with bangs. When I got home and tried to style it...I was very upset to find I had to pin it up for 2 weeks until it grew out. The worst part was going to pay and the same lady who freaked about me waiting mischarged me 20 dollars. She then fumbled around not knowing what to do or apologizing and finally refunded me. Long story short I ended up paying 50 dollars for a cut that I hated and had fixed somewhere else shortly after. I won't be returning and I suggest you go elsewhere.
