Visited here on an bank holiday Monday for a family birthday. We had booked and got the up stairs all to our self, but the tables where laid out in a "U" shape around the room very close to the walls so anytime anyone wanted to get up and out you had to climb under the table, not good for a 60th. There only seemed to be one lad looking after us, he tried to take drinks orders but we had to ask a few times and some times they don't turn up, why it was just him for 25 of us I don't know, it was empty down stairs. The meal deal was any pasta or pizza and a small glass of wine or soft drink for £6.95 now that is a very cheap deal, there was a huge detailed menu with most pizza and pastas being about £8. I had some sort of mushroom pasta and to be fair it was pretty nice, but the pizzas and garlic breads I got told had to little or not salt in the dough making it quite tasteless. They had only one male and female toilet. Very steep stairs. Very, very small bar with only peroni on tap. No one had dessert so I can't comment on that but I could guess what they would be like. Being on the A6 there is no parking and most street had a permit holders only signs but you can park around 3 streets back. read more
