Birria pizza
Meryl N.

Comforting, tasty and yet underwhelming. Alfredos is well known in the okc area, it's a go to chain Mexican/tex-mex restaurant with a casual feel, large portions and fair pricing. The food is always playable palatable at each location. Typically easy to eat even on a sore stomach and warm. I ordered a birria pizza to go which is essentially a birria quesdilla in a ciricle shape instead of a half circle, so it's double the size. It comes with an underwhelming amount of birria sauce for the amount of food (see photo). Flavor wise it was mild. I could taste the spcies used but nothing popped. Like most of Alfredos food it is perfect for a palette that prefers mild slightly homogeneous flavors and lots of dairy. I wish it had more string flavors but overall it was decent. Anyway it was alright but needed way more sauce and a stronger flavor

Complimentary chips, queso and salsa.

The service was good. Country music playing in the background. Food was just ok. The salsa is very garlicky. I got two enchiladas. One chicken and one cheese. Food did not have much flavor but it was a good place to go for a quick lunch.

$19 for 4 strips of chicken and 4 strips of steak is wild. I would have been ok with it if the dish had tasted good but it was bland. No flavor at all. The only bright spot was the service. I should have trusted the reviews. Definitely not worth the price.

We arrived today at 4:14PM. I stayed in the car while my husband went inside and personally placed the food order with Ignacio. He placed an order for 1 grande enchilada platter. I was the only one eating. We've been eating here at least 2 to 3 times a month for the past 10 years. The food and service has always been acceptable. We have always placed our orders in person and our orders have been prepared to go and we eat it at the house. The food took approximately 18 minutes to be prepared for our to go order. We live approximately 10.2 miles away from the restaurant and tonight when we were leaving to drive back home, we ran into a severe thunderstorm. Therefore, it took us a little longer to get back to the house. At 6:07 PM I had to place a call back to the restaurant and Ignacio answered the phone and I gave him the information off of our credit card receipt with the total amount including the tip. And he distinctly remembered the order and my husband placing the order with him . I told him that, unfortunately this evening, I could not even take one bite of the food to eat because it was loaded down with too much SALT. I even had my husband take a teaspoon for just to taste to see if he thought it was too salty. He agreed and said it was way too salty for him to eat it. Ignacio stated that they check the quality of their food by doing a taste test several times during the day. In fact, he stated that he personally had tasted the food at 2 PM today. Now, I am not sure if that means he did a taste test on the same food that we brought home , but that means my food was at least several hours old...!!! The listing on Yelp states they open at 11AM. So I am hoping that the food is fixed fresh EVERYDAY and ready to be served at 11AM. It's interesting that he did his taste test at 2PM. That means three hours after they opened and three hours after the food was prepared and ready to be served....smh...!!! I then went on to ask Ignacio if I could get a credit back to our credit card account for this dinner that was absolutely inedible. He then stated he would take the tip portion off, but he was still leaving the price we payed; including the tax on this one plate of food. I reminded Ignacio that we have been loyal customers at his restaurant for over 10 years without one complaint. WE WILL NOT BE BACK TO THIS Restaurant... BTW I will be taking steps to get my food, tested at the Health Department tomorrow.

Idk what's up with the negative reviews I've been here several times and the food and service are great. The Mexican street tacos steak are my go to. My dad had the shrimp tacos and really enjoyed them as well. Downsides being upcharge for pico & guac of course but it is what it is.

Missing lettuce, sour cream, guac and pico... so had to eat them as is. Tiny meat portions.

I've been coming here a long time and their in person service and quality is much better than there to-go setup. The last few times we have had many missing items or just terrible quality food on the to-go side. Last night they forgot a plate and we noticed that before left... but when we got home we also found they forgot all the fixings for our Tony's taco plates and this was the quality of burned small meat portions. Very dissapointing. $90 worth of 4 plates shouldn't look this terrible.

Beans and rice side dish.

I've eaten here twice in the past 6 months. I'll start with the Pros. I ordered the chicken fajitas with fresh jalapeños. The portion size is good here, usually some take home. I also like the xtra-large cups they use. The wait staff was friendly and food came out in an acceptable time. Cons - it's pricy. 2 orders of fajitas and soda was $45. The fajitas were bland. Needed seasoning. The presentation was terrible. Just looked slapped on the plate. Nothing exceptional. For a $45 fajitas meal I expect some exceptional. I do like the fact they offer impossible meat for vegetarians. I'll be back for that reason as I have vegetarian family members.

Mexican Street Tacos Rice

Food was over all great! Customer service was great too! I ordered the street tacos the tortillas weren't soggy and the meat was tender.

Spicy margarita

This location is very clean and the employees are very friendly and quick on their feet! They always bring plenty of chips, salsa, queso, tortillas, and any other extra dips while you wait for your food. The food comes out fairly quickly. Alfredos has added new items to their menu. As well as featuring new monthly margaritas!

One of our go to Mexican food places to go to. Not top notch but good enough food to come back to for sure! Setup is great!

When we got there it was packed full cause it was the night before Valentine's day, and a Friday night and we had a party of five. We hand about a five minutes of waiting. The restaurant is cozy, neat in appearance and well organized. Staff were not only busy but they were all friendly and very welcoming. We were seated and chips, salsa and queso were brought to our table as well as our drinks. The waiter took our order and my brother brand his wife had the guisada, with side order of beans and rice, my sister had the chicken flautas, side order of beans and rice, with extra corn tortillas, I had the beef enchilada, creme Mexican corn and rice, and my wife had the shrimp tacos with side order of beans and rice. My brother had the fried ice cream for dessert. The food was very delicious the only complaint I have is that they serve all their salsas with cilantro they should make some without cilantro give customers a choice. Not everyone likes cilantro. When visiting our sister more than likely we may run into you at the restaurant, so stop on by.

Side of potatos and Ranchero beans were good. The star was order of cooked peppers n onions! So good. Salsa is not great so was looking for something with a kick. Alittle better than our 1st visit, so since so close to us, will keep coming till I find the perfect menu item. It may be the sauce I choose,Ranchero, so will have to ask for something hotter and melted cheese.
