Since the installed replacement cost have more than doubled for just a single stage 15 seer system…read moreand 3-4 times higher for an 18+ seer variable speed condenser and air handler system, I began researching different systems and vendors. During this time, I learned that not everyone likes a do-it-yourself like me. Some even said I wanted, "free work." Not true! However, the current installed prices spoke to me. I grabbed my tools! Pulling a local permit as a home owner/builder in Florida, I installed a 2 ton (24k) ACIQ-24-HP32 condenser and ACIQ-24-AH32 air handler, and related mechanical. This system replaced a 26 year old 1.5 ton (18K) Trane XE-1000 condenser and TWGO18A air handler that was showing its age -- like me. One of my main hardware vendors, HVAC direct, patiently worked with me as I learned the new system requirements. With help from Isaiah Luke Appliance Repair to do the final commissioning of the system, the new ACIQ inverter system passed local inspection! The new system is a noticeably quieter and produces considerable heat split by comparison with the previous system. The fact that the ACIQ has a higher BTU rating, (24K) a higher seer rating (18), and yet uses smaller breakers, 30A down to 25A on the outside unit and 30 down to 15 amps for the inside unit and doesn't dim my lights when it runs, says it all. Thanks again to: Isaiah Luke Appliance Repairs!

While they were trenching they broke our water main and did not tell us. So that cost about $200 for a plumber to fix which Coker would not pay for. Luckily we found saw the water leaking or it could have been a much bigger disaster. Then they put the electrical pole in the wrong place and the technician said it was because the clay was hard and he had been digging all day. When I talked to the boss he said he had told the technician how to do it but there was a tree root in the way (there wasn't). Then the next day the boss changed his story to the fact that the wires would have been short anyway that they needed to connect to. What's worse is they charged us $775 extra to fix their error. I will never use them again.

Paul approached the job with careful thought and brought it to completion on time, and on budget. His crew did an excellent job, most specifically with attention to detail; they really took the time to do thorough prep work before even beginning the paint work. Paul has competitive pricing and is transparent about costs. I think what sets him apart though, is his ability to communicate effectively with the customer - something that is often missing with other contractors. I would not hesitate to use Paul again, and would highly recommend he and his team.
