I've been coming to dental office for years and they've always taken great care of me. Most recently, I went in for an orthodontic consultation. Like many people, I stopped wearing my retainers after getting my braces off so I've noticed the slight shifts in my teeth over the past decade. I really appreciated how thorough Dr. Martinez was in explaining my situation and the options available. I've always been a little insecure about my overbite and my front teeth, but he reminded me that every bite is unique and that these issues can absolutely be corrected. That reassurance meant a lot. Dr. Martinez is also a really funny guy. So, I felt at ease chatting with him every time I had an appointment. Their pricing for braces is also very reasonable. I definitely overpaid for my braces when I was in my early adult hood. The entire team is friendly, professional, and genuinely cares about their patients. Wait times have always been minimal, and on the rare occasion they're running behind, they communicate it. Which I understand. If you're looking for a dental office that takes the time to educate you, makes you feel comfortable, and truly cares about your smile, I definitely recommend this clinic! read more

I had been coming to this dentist office since I was in high school. Guys, I got the left side of my wisdom teeth removed here 3 years ago. The SURGEON who was supposed to extract them called off and they got the regular dentist who was already there to extract my wisdom teeth instead. Being naive and trusting of these people, I agreed. I had looked up the symptoms and numbness was one of them. I let one day go buy and I noticed the numbness had gone away on my entire face EXCEPT for the left side of my tongue. I called into the office and the receptionist said to give it a few more days. 1 week went by, nothing. Two weeks, NOTHING. And they kept telling me it would take a while for the feeling to come back. It's been three years! I regret ever going to this dentist. when it came time for my clean up, the office receptionist called and asked me if I wanted to make an appointment and I told her no and the reason why! She told me they had let go of the dentist who had extracted my teeth . So, I agreed to go in and get my clean up. When I'm walking to the restroom.. I see the same dentist! They lied to me. This place is absolutely terrible. Their staff is great, and the would recommend you looking elsewhere to get your wisdom teeth extracted. I'm sorry if this post is really negative but honestly not being to feel your tongue sucks! read more

If you're looking for an un professional, rude, disorganized, dentist / orthodontist this is the pace !!! Let's start off with appointments , if you're willing to spend 3 + hours of your day for a 20 minuete procedure this is the place. Costumer Service is outstandingly R U D E !! If i could give them negative stars I would. Word of advice to the orthodontist receptionist (if you don't like your job you should CONSIDER finding another job ) I'm finally glad I'm done with my treatment and out of that place! If you want the people that are supposed to be professional and give good costumer service this is not the place I could tell you this first hand because my grandma had to tell them if you have something to say to tell her in her face just because they had her waiting 2 hours and then told her that she had to wait until they came back from lunch!! read more

Please do not go here my parents would take me here as a little girl and now I'm dealing with the consequences needing root canal when not necessary , they will tell u you have cavities when you don't just to charge you. Don't go here read more

My mother had an appointment multiple times for new dentures, she waited more than 1hr, the technicians are the ones making the molds for the new teeth not a Dentist, the molds were never made correctly and they tried to force the in and cutting the side of my mothers lips and blistering her comes, she finally complained and a Dentist came in to finally talk to her. My mother has worn Detures since she was 25 and is now 76, never ever had we had such a horrible experience, I will also file a complaint with Delta Dental. read more

DO NOT GO HERE !!! Staff is unprofessional, lots of talking when helping a customer, front desk lady at the orthodontics area is extremely rude with a huge attitude. When trying to reschedule an appointment you have to wait a month after to go again. You are only supposed to have braces for two years now going on 4. The dentist doctor Alfonso has been opening and closing gaps in my teeth he does not know what he's doing at all. NEVER GO HERE !! read more

Thank you we loved your service no were else treated us like you my daughter and I loved your work

I'm a new patient there, never been there before. So I made appointment with them for 10:30am. On Tuesday. That day I went early, like 9:30. They said Dr. won't be there that early, he will be there like 10:30 . So I fill out the form, I made another appointment for next week. This appointment was very disappointing. I went there 10:15am. At waiting room,Waited for 30min to get in. So I think after that would be ok, no, they let nurse to cleaning my teeth. It's not over, finally the Dr. came checked my teeth, didn't say anything to me, and the other nurse came telling me that I have to patch up 3 teeth, and each one cost 130$. Regardless the money part,I believe I don't need to patch the one she said, but after I think it over , I told them I want to patch two teeth, the nurse says they will let Dr. knows. But in the end the Dr only did one for me. Because it's past his lunchtime. Want to know what time it is? It's 1:20pm. Yes from 10:15am to 1:20 pm. The real Dr.time is less the 20 min. It's a bad experience for me. There so many good clinics out there, why you have to choose this careless one? read more

Excellent experience today! I'm usually terrified of any dental work but today's cleaning was painless. Brianna did an excellent job at not hurting my sensitive teeth. With this type of dental care, I will not hesitate to return for my six month cleaning!!! Kudos to Brianna! Her boss owes her a bonus!!! read more

Throughout my stay in el monte this was my go-to dentist from the very start. Its right in between the I-10 and Mountain View- closer to the 10 freeway. I usually schedule appointments durning the week and the wait was close to none-amazing! It was quick and easy. Once in the back area with all my gear, the staff was nice/friendly, it was clean, and pretty professional for the most part nothing crazy out of the ordinary type of situations. If I had to wait for the dentist I watched the TV- they offered to change the channel at times, which is nice. Once durning a busy time in my life, I scheduled on a Saturday- whoa. Very different. Busier but then again the patients present probably scheduled for Saturday for the same exact reason that I did so bummer for me because I had to wait at a dentist office. It's super easy to schedule or reschedule with the staff, they're readily available to help you with that- they even call you to remind you! It felt like my personal dentist assistant in some ways. But would recommend to give it a shot. Parking I think it's off valley right in front of the office- usually I walked because it was convenient. That area of el monte, I might add, I never experienced issues. Some of my friends/visitors usually freaked- especially if they weren't Latinos and/or not used to being in neighborhoods that had some marginalized communities. So with that said be aware that the area looks a bit shady BUT I lived right down the street for two years and I enjoyed my stay there. BTW Art's Burger maybe a couple buildings left of the dentist-YUMMY, recommend as well. Compatible to in-n-out burger. Monday's n Wednesdays they're like 1.99 or something. love burgers what can I say. read more

Called scheduled an appointment & Came in for a broken tooth. Walked in & was greeted by the friendly staff. They had me sign in & was immediately sent to a room where they started cleaning up my teeth, X-Rays followed & right after they started working on my route canal & put me a temporary crown. Then I came back in ten days to get my new crown got to the dentist signed in & was sent to a room with a 3 min wait. Then they started measuring my crown making sure it was perfect & that everything was great & wasnt hurting my bite (which it did not). Dr. Truong was a very nice dentist he makes conversation he's very friendly & makes you feel comfortable being at the dentist because really who likes the dentist. I want to thank Dr. Truong & all the staff for the excellent work!! read more

They keep calling me for another patient (I'm not or ever was a patient there). I tell them it's the wrong number and stop. They wont, they keep calling from different or private number, I cant block every call. read more

Been here for my son & I., the staff is really friendly they make you feel at home. Recently I was complaining of tooth pain & the doctor had mentioned it was a cavity so he filled it in, basically I only had one. Came to another dentist & they mentioned to me that my cavity was still inside my tooth so he basically didn't take it out fully he just covered it on top, makes sense why my tooth pain never went away. I also had more than one cavity. Please don't go here seems like they don't do what they have to do right. Worse of the worse. read more

Highly disappointed. You're never able to see one dentist as this place has like a merry go round of dentists so each time you go you see someone new. In addition, they're rude and impatient. The receptionists and dental assistants are very immature and unprofessional. I don't recommend this place at all. When it comes to healthcare, professionalism is a must at all times! read more

This place is ok..not to shabby.. prices for major dental work with insurance is the best I've ever seen..the dental office isn't the prettiest, but..having more money in my pocket after getting treated here is sucha good feeling...but if you need to see the dentist, call in advance. .they get booked with appointments really fast. I usually have to wait about a month to see the doc..and that part suckssss when my mouths in pain. read more

And I've never suffered from extra pain after the procedures. I've also had braces along with my sister and they work with your payments. My brother's teeth were getting gaps and they were also getting tiny. They fixed them and bow look awesome. And NATURAL. The staff is super friendly :-) however I do suggest yo make an appt before you come in. read more

And if your not sold yet they even have a nice clear TV in the dentist rooms for you to be entertained while your being worked on. Making the time just fly! read more

I absolutely love it here! I have never had a bad experience and everyone is more than happy to help and answer questions. I have been a patient at this office my whole life and appreciate seeing the same main crew handling the office. Not only do they go out of their way to make me feel welcome, but they do their beat to make your visit a good one. Sure you have to wait a bit before being seen, but it's a business and you realistically wait everywhere you go! I'd be worried if there were no patients there! Means they must be doin something right if they are constantly busy. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Let me preface this by saying Dr. Martinez is a good dentist, BUT GOD FORBID you ever have to deal with his wife, the office manager/collections officer/Nazi. Would you like to visit a dentist office that values their patients, or one were the attitude is "patients come and go"? My family has been going to this dentist for about 15 years, and and today was the last straw. We went in today for a routine ortho visit for my son. I was discussing some confusing changes in the office with the staff. I felt the new arrangement of the ortho vs dental sections of the office was detrimental to patient privacy. The owner/wife/manager/whatever rudely interrupted the conversation. I articulated my opinions on the office arrangement and as to how customer service in this office had severely declined. Rather than discussing my concerns in a professional manner, this lady just lost it. The conversation that followed left me with the impression that she couldn't care less about patients and just wanted to get paid. "Patients come and go," she said. I told her I would not be back, and as I left I heard her call me a derogatory word. I would have liked to continue seeing Dr. Martinez. He has been a great dentist for all these years, and everyone knows how hard it is to find a good dentist, but this lady just made his office intolerable. We will not be back and I recommend anybody who appreciates being treated professionally, or at least being treated with respect, stay away from this office. read more

I've been coming here for many years. They have great customer service and offer great rewards for being a patient. The prices are the lowest I've found for braces, retainers and teeth whitening. Me & my husband came in today as new patients after waiting for over 2 hrs I asked if we can have our x-rays cause that is all they did could not/did not want to wait longer. I've been an RDA for 15 yrs I don't see how the Dr. While he waited for his asst to take x-ray on his rct pt. he couldn't take those 2 mins to do our exam, but if we were to have a different insurance like a ppo we wouldn't of had to wait... read more

Great service! AWESOME staff, all so friendly and helpful. Highly reccomend! :)

It's been a VERY long time since I had dental work done. I went to a few other dental offices for estimates of work I needed done. Come to realize dental work hasn't changed, It's still EXPENSIVE! Had two previous estimates and this dental office was definitely the least expensive. This dentist told me I needed the same work as the previous one told me. However, I didn't have thousands of dollars to spend. Here I will basically have the same work done for thousands less. It's a little farther for me and the office is not as nice as others but so far has been worth it. In spite of previous reviews 99% of the staff is very nice. Receptionist is polite and professional. The 1% has no sense of humor and seems to have a poker face, lol. But again, worth it when I think of how much I'm saving. Only suggestion is to come with plenty of time. I had an appointment today and was seen a bit later than my appointment time. I have more work that needs done but have bits done at a time. Second visit today of a few to come. read more
