I have stopped here for a slice many times. I can't speak to their delivery service; I've only picked up slices to go or to eat in. If you've been to an Alexandra's location before, you can expect the same delicious menu items in a nice, clean space. I actually think this is the nicest Alexandra's location: big, lots of room, nice decor. Staff are friendly but not really outgoing. If you're in the area and need a late-night bite to eat, this is the place! read more

Tonight we decided to indulge & ordered a medium Italian classic with mushrooms and a medium garlic fingers with bacon and a large donair sauce. we love the pizza and garlic fingers. some of the best in the HRM. We placed our order sometime between 6 and 6:30 for delivery. It usually takes 45-60 mins or so, and it was roughly that tonight. For the third time in a row our donair sauce had been forgotten. The driver became aware of this as he handed our order to my husband at the door and stated he'd run back, get it and bring it back. Alright we said. He has forgotten in the past and been back in less than 10 minutes or so. I dislike the donair sauce that comes with the garlic fingers as it's been placed inside the box and gets warm and runny and tastes disgusting. So we always order extra to prevent this. After a half hour and our pizza and garlic fingers getting cold I decided enough was enough. I opened a can of soup and ate it as my meal. My husband called to complain and was informed that the driver was back and gone already. we were told if we wanted our food exchanged for hot food we could give it back to the driver and they would send fresh pizza and garlic fingers and that this was all they could do. I understand how Sackville in general can be misleading. People want something for nothing out here, but we had already paid and have been Alexandra's pizza patrons for a few years now and rave constantly about the Canadian pizza and poutine. The driver arrived roughly 10-15 minutes after the phone call (when i had finished my can of soup) with our donair sauce and before my husband could say anything to the man he booted it back to his car and was gone. He arrived again about 8:15 with just a garlic fingers for us as we called in a complaint and i answered the door. No apology. just that a complaint had been made and that we wanted new garlic fingers. no. we ate. thanks. I told him that yes, we did call and complain, but no thanks and didn't accept the new order. we didn't want what we ordered and PAID for over almost 2 hours ago. thanks. I have worked in the food and beverage industry for 6 years, my husband for 13 We've both held customer service jobs all our lives. I have never felt so belittled and un cared for by a company. I feel as though this was extremely poorly handled. Delivery order beware! I'd give this location no stars if I could. When we order pizza these days it's a treat. Being on Weight Watchers we don't order out as often as we used to. I think we'll be switching to making our own at home from here on out. read more

Sometimes good sometimes not so much. Tonight my husband picked up our pizza and was getting back in the car when one of the guys came out and asked if he gave him the wrong pizza. Husband said I don't know did you? Turns out they did. I'm in food and beverage I would have just switched the pizzas and apologized. They instead charged him the difference. Wasn't very good pizza either. So sad :( read more

I ordered a vege pizza with olives added, and half of it with no cheese. They sent me a pizza with no cheese and the only topping was olives. I got bread, sauce and olives. I wouldn't have been so upset if they didn't argue with me about it, telling me this wasn't what I told them. My wife was right there listening to me while I ordered. I couldn't imagine what they proposed we did. "Yes, I'd like a vege pizza with non of those veges added, add olives, and no cheese". It's ludicrous. read more

Placed a large, 9 pizza delivery order this weekend to feed 40 hungry kids and adults at a birthday party. They gave a bit of a deal on a large order and delivered to right address at arranged time but that's about the only positive thing I can say. To try to satisfy many tastes, we ordered several types of their specialty pizzas and cheese, and pepperoni pizzas for the kids. We tried the gamut. When I opened the boxes the pizzas looked overcooked, with blackened bits of crust and toppings. I was hoping things would make up for this in the taste department but I was disappointed; the ingredients tasted like they were of inferior quality and the pizzas were overcooked. In particular the crust was like a desiccated slice you picked up at 3am that had been making it's journey around the heat lamp for several hours. To make it worse some were lukewarm and some cold. Judging that we had a lot of pizza left over I am guessing our guests weren't feeling it too. I will not order from them again. read more

So i placed an order for pick-up over the phone tonight. when i called i was told that it would only be about 20mins until my order was ready. When i got to the store 25min later to pick up my order, i was told that they did not have my order. very mysterious as i was even given a total price over the phone. this is not the first time i have had terrible service at this place, and i dont plan on going back again! read more

Always happy with our choices. Regularly treat ourselves to 2 small Donairs and plenty to enjoy, plus never unhappy. Been yummy, yummy and yep yummy! ! We've introduced many family members to this too and all love them. We've had pizza as well , and each time we try something new it's been a good experience. Keep up good work. Website states "Free Delivery", no mention that they start charging a delivery fee if you are located outside of their zoning. Yet their website does not state what the zones are. If you place an order online, the additional delivery charge will not appear. I'm located on Larry Uteck, apparently this area is subject to the delivery charge. The manager at the Sackville location lacks professionalism and poor customer service. Argues with the customer and refuses to acknowledge that they are misleading customers. He repeatedly told me stop ordering from them if I didn't like the added delivery charge. After I agreed to the charges on the phone, the manager cancelled the order. If you enjoy being mislead and having poor customer service, this pizza joint is ideal for you. read more

I ordered two donairs for delivery, coming to about $15 with cheese. Neither of them had donair sauce on them..

Every single time we order from here it is wrong- sometimes we get two regular poutines when we order and pay for two chicken poutines. They always forget donair sauce and don't even consider ordering a drink because you won't get it. We used to always order from the Fairview one and we had no issues at all they were perfect. Ever since we moved and have to use the Sackville location- it's horrible. We haven't ordered from there in a bit because of this but tonight we really wanted food- we ordered online at 526...it is now 7:15 and we still haven't gotten the food. We called at 645 to double check that they had our order- it was supposedly in their junk mail- SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND DON'T ORDER FROM HERE!!!! read more

Honestly I would not use this place they could probably have the best pizza and best food in the entire world that you'll never find out. I am a flight attendant for a major airline who had an overnight in Halifax at the airport I went on yelp to find out who it delivered to the hotel. I placed the order the order comes back with an email to me saying that I need to call to confirm the order. I called them they tell me that the downtown Halifax can't deliver to the airport area. then find out that I need to call the Woodside location and they would deliver here. So I place an order over the phone and specifically asked so this can be delivered to the holiday inn at the airport gentleman says yes and how will you be paying I stated debit card if that's OK bye never give me a price never says how long it'll be nothing I wait hour no food got a phone call from another location and the location the states to me that they're at the wrong hotel and I can't deliver to this holiday in the next two hours have passed and I still have no food since my original order online I then called back the location that I verbally place the order with and I got put on hold for like 10 minutes and then they tell me they can't hear me because of a bad connection so they call me back which was nice and then a dinner and then tries to tell me that he can't deliver here that he I never said the airport that's ridiculous and then on top of it he tries to say that none of this was his fault .place has very poor communication skills and does not know how to handle customer service appropriately read more
