At first look, these individual lashes are beautiful, but the foundation is very shaky at this house is falling. I said I would wait a week after I had my service to give a true review, but I could've given the same review on day 2. Toni was my technician and she did not was my lashes, which I thought was odd, she was also done within 40 minutes. Not with my lash experience, a full set takes at least an hour, so I was thinking maybe Toni is fast and efficient. I was only right about the fast part. Since 2 hours after instillation, I have been losing at least 3 lashes a day every single day. Soon I will be a bald eye scallywag. I usually don't start shedding lashes until at least one week after installation and it's mostly because my natural lashes are shedding with the extensions. This time ALL LOST LASHES ARE EXTENSIONS! I got a groupon ticket for full highlights, haircut, style and hair blow dry, but I regret getting this coupon on all the aspects: first on all I got reservation with Donya but she outsourced it to someone else Elena. They asked me to pay extra 25 for bleaching! apparently full highlight means just putting some toner on the hair without preparation for them! my hair is burned, I have lost half of my hair after the process! I know maybe part of it is for me doing keratin straightening that I did a year ago, so I partly get why my ends are burned, but I have lost hairs from the root also, I think they used really bad material for bleaching. hair cut is a disaster!! I can't stress out how pissed I was when I saw my back hair!! just look at the picture! you see that tail? I had to cut it with my own hands! I would do a better job if I would just cut my hair with my own hands! the blow dry was so unprofessional to complete the last piece of masterpiece! I had a party to take, as soon as I got home, I washed my damaged hair to at least blow dry it properly! I lost a lot of hair after washing and just brushing my hair! :( I never have been so pissed off by a salon's service and rudeness! I got a groupon for here and saw the good reviews and thought I'd be safe.... nope! I told her take 2 inches, she took more like 5 (see pics) one was taken 2/15/18, the other one was taken after my haircut. You can see the length difference, I'm not exaggerating. She also cut my hair uneven. See the pics of me in the grey hoodie, one side is about an inch longer. I also asked her to cut it straight in the back not a V, she cut some weird U shape. She kept looking at everyone else while she was cutting my hair, like eavesdropping or something, but not paying attention to me obviously or my hair would be straight. I didn't notice until I got home because the mirrors in that place are so small, I couldn't see the ends. Not was I shown what the back looks like, and obviously she didn't check my hair to see if it's even. I thought those were basics. While I was there, someone who worked there brought their lil dog in for the day. I loved it, super cute, but then it started barking, not cute. Not relaxing. I tried calling all day today to see when I can get my hair fixed and the phone is off the hook or something, busy for hours now. This is a one stop shop and it shows. read more

I also found this salon/spa on Groupon about 3 years ago, and I have been a consistent client ever since. I receive both eyebrow and Brazilian wax services from this spa. Tone is my Esthetician, and she is wonderful! I have never had any complaints about the services, or the spa. Tone is very funny, and she makes what could be an very uncomfortable and very private experience (Brazilian wax), a very comfortable experience. The prices are very reasonable in my opinion, and I enjoy going every 6 weeks or so for the waxing. I have very sensitive skin, and I have never had any issues after the waxing. I have referred 3 of my friends to Tone for services, and they have all reported back very positive reviews about the services and Tone as well. I can't speak to any other services that are offered (such as eyelash extensions, hair cuts, etc) outside of the waxing, but I would recommend this salon/spa for the waxing services. read more

Over the weekend, I received sooooo many compliments. No only were my lashes beautiful, setting up the appointment was painless. A) they were found on Groupon for one HECK of a price cut. So everyone saying you didn't get what you paid for . $36 for FULL highlights, great haircut, blowout and style? I'll just say I tipped more than the Groupon cost. They did switch stylists, but being a new customer that doesn't truly make a difference? Bleach isn't my go to for prep for anything but to each their own. I'm 10000% satisfied with the results. How fancy the furniture or building is/isn't matters to me about next to zero. The chair isn't cutting my hair......nor am I an elitist who demands a fireplace.....if my hair turns out great, they can cut it in the parking lot for all I care. I've been to those "amazing" studios on Hall Road that everyone praises......yet they are well dressed pretty little stepford hair "artists " that didn't know a choppy layer nor how to thin out wavy hair for 6x the price, I got a bad chop, highlights barely noticeable and I'm just not big on paying their overhead. HORRIBLE QUALITY lashes and glue! My eyes were IRRITATED to the point that I had to go to the Dr. after 3 days and he advised that I remove them with olive oil. The lady who did the eyelash extensions kept STOPPING to answer her phone and make future appointments! She also stopped to pay for food that she ordered! I didn't even go back for the fill in that I paid for when I got the lash extensions. When I called to ask what glue they used, I could not get a straight answer. So I went to this esthetic salon on my daughter's recommendation for eyelash extensions. I live in Rochester Hills, but was willing to make the drive because my daughter's lashes look so AMAZING and last so long. All of her friends also go to this establishment. While it is not fancy, the owner Toni is AWESOME. She is huge on customer satisfaction. I have had lashes put on for three times the price and swore I would never get them again until I met Toni. Got a Brazilian wax done and I couldn't even tell you who the asthetician was because she didn't even tell me her name. It was my first time so I was super nervous and didn't know what to expect or how things went. The lady brought me to the back in a tiny room that literally only fit her and myself, so I was also claustrophobic. Not be too humorous, but all she said was "take pants off." No hello or how are you. I told her this was my first time and I'm sure she could tell how nervous I was. But she was not friendly at all. Not only that, but I left the salon with hair still in places and a BRUISE on my inner thigh!! I will not return. Very unprofessional. read more

I used a Groupon for a Brazilian with Tone. I've had many many many done over the years at various salons, so I know when someone is good and when someone doesn't know what they're doing - and Tone is AMAZING!! And omg, she is so FAST! The whole thing took 15 minutes. Holy cow, before I knew it, one side was done, and the other side was done just as fast! No time to cry from pain because she gets it over quickly, which I appreciate because why prolong the agony??! :) It's a joint effort: you'll be pulling one side of the skin while she pulls the other way, but it makes for less pain and the reason she is able to work so quickly. She is a true professional and very thorough - your backside will get done as well. Dont come if you're shy because you'll be in some vulnerable positions - but again, it gets the job DONE and done super well. There isn't a single hair remaining anywhere on me, even the hard to reach inbetween places. Im so darn impressed -- I will most definitely go to her again!!!!!!! read more

This review is about the hair salon aspect of this business- I have no idea about the waxing. I had an appointment for Monday morning after buying a Groupon for full highlights, blow dry, & style. I was greeted promptly by Tone (the owner) and seated with my stylist, Jackie, right away. She asked me if I was going to just touch up my roots with blonde, to which I replied that I actually wanted to try something different; I believe I said I wanted a reddish auburn colored highlight with some platinum to accent, and I showed her a photo to ensure she understood. Jackie literally glanced at my photo for two seconds max, then repeated the word red. That should have been my first warning! After my hair was washed and I was brought back to her station, all I could see was RED. Not auburn, not burgundy, RED...like the color of a crayon. I decided not to freak out. I thought maybe it would look different after it was blow dried, but I was definitely wrong. Jackie even commented jokingly that I "look like Christmas", which to me was not really appropriate. When she asked me my thoughts, I said I loved the cut and the blonde she added was great, but my hair was really, really red and not really what I was going for. She responded by letting me know it would fade to what I wanted after a few washes, which I knew was not true. How can bright red fade to auburn?! I asked her if I could come back to get it fixed if this was not the case. She just repeated that it would fade to what I want. I got in my car, called my boyfriend, and cried. I felt ridiculous. I washed it for the heck of it a few times but it ended up fading to pink, then a pinkish orange color. I didn't go anywhere without a hat during the time my hair was like this, I was horrified and embarrassed. I ended up calling the salon two days later and spoke with Tone about how my hair has turned pink and I would like to get it fixed. I was hesitant to go back, but I figured I would give them the opportunity to change my negative opinion or make it up to me somehow. Tone scheduled me for an appointment on that Friday afternoon with a different stylist. With some reluctance, I went. This time, I was greeted by a receptionist who did not have my appointment in the calendar. I was told to wait for Tone so she could figure things out. I waited for twenty minutes before Tone came out, only to find out my stylist had been sitting right in front of me chatting to Jackie for the whole 20 minutes. You would think she would have seen my pink hair and realized I was her client! Anyway, I got in this new stylist's chair and told her I needed the color gone. At this point I wasn't going to try to get what I had originally wanted because I didn't want to risk looking like a fool again. This stylist kept commenting that I had "changed my mind" about the color, which irritated me; I didn't want the red in the first place, I didn't change my mind about it. I felt a bit belittled by her comments, but then again, I was feeling very emotional from my hair disaster from Monday. I was told I had two options: bleach my whole head of hair or try to bleach just the red parts (but there was a ton of red). I didn't want the damage of a whole head of bleach so I chose to bleach out the red only the best she could. After the bleaching, there was still a couple thin pink streaks here & there, but it was way better than before. I was happy with what she did to fix it. However, I was a little turned off that she wouldn't even blow dry it all the way or use a round brush. I was told "styling" was extra, which I found ridiculous since I was coming back to get my color fixed. If I was a stylist, I would have done anything in my power to make sure my client had a good experience, ESPECIALLY if he/she was coming back to get something fixed that went wrong. I left with frizzy, damp, bleached hair, a few remaining pink streaks, and a sour taste in my mouth for this business. I will not be back and I will not recommend to others. Poorly run business with employees who do not know customer service. I gave two stars for the fact that Tone allowed me to come back free of charge to fix Jackie's mistake. read more

I was really disappointing in this salon. The first couple times I went, the lashes seemed okay and the service was fine as well. I was concerned about the lashes being clumped and too much glue. Tone let me know that's how it was supposed to be. I had to get the lashed done every 2 weeks because i legit had NONE left. I came in for an appointment at 3PM. Tone came out at 3:15 and said she needed to run an errand. Came back by 3:45 and finished me in 15 mins. Clearly she is sidetracked and wasnt serious about customer service or a successful business model. Her prices are cheap and it is reflected in the quality of work. I took the picture of the color code to clarify ,if I am wrong and the staff is right.I went to a renowned salon and consulted with them ,then I got to know that this salon is a big fraud.I got the information that if you are going for hair color highlights ,you need to choose the color and its your stylist responsibility to bring the desired color on your hair and there is no extra amount should be charged.Stylist can ask the extra amount in only that condition if he/she brought your desired color but you don't like that color and asking to do other color. Beware people ,this salon is a fraud ,u all will be highly disappointed. I had bought their $45 package for full highlights from groupon. Bought a Groupon a few years ago for eyelash extensions here. Decided to give them another try when I received an email from Groupon with the same deal. I purchased the Groupon several weeks ago. Unable to get an appt for several weeks so I was asked if I would like to be put on their waiting list. They assured me that I would get in quicker. Waited approximately 3 weeks without contact from them. Called again and made an appt. Received a call a day or two before my appt saying that they were canceling my appt because the Groupon was only for new customers. Unfortunately I missed the one line in the fine print with that info. I asked her for some direction regarding the Groupon and she told me to contact Groupon and they would refund my money. Groupon sent me an email stating that they could not return my money. I once again contacted Tony and left a message. Was hoping we could work something out so that my entire 80 dollars was not wasted. She never returned my call. Really terrible service from both Groupon and Tony. read more

My appt. was at 10:30. Toni did not come in until 10:45. The room Toni took me into did not seem as if it met any kind of health and safety codes. Boxes were stacked, the area the wax and sticks were kept appeared very sticky and dirty. I was not given a towel to cover up my bikini area with; instead I was given a piece of paper (the kind that is on the bed at a doctor's office). I was asked by Toni to take off my pants/underwear, shoes. I then waited for her to leave the room for approximately 3 minutes and she did not leave. I reluctantly undressed and proceeded with the wax. She left in the middle of the wax to use the restroom. When she returned she asked me to get on my hands and knees for the back part of the Brazilian wax. I've NEVER been asked to do that for a Brazilian. At the end I was handed a paper towel with oil to wipe myself off. I left with wax residue and stuck to my underwear. The experience was very unprofessional and uncomfortable.
