And both worked on me very detailed. Taking Xrays at every step to do a great job. I was numb which went away and i had no pain. I look forward to my follow up in six months to make sure al is fine. It was very difficult to get my parents established with this practice. Initially, I tried to…read moreoverlook concerns because I understand healthcare offices can become very busy. Unfortunately, we experienced repeated issues with communication, follow-up, and professionalism. After my mother had a tooth extraction, she was sent home without clear after-care guidance. She experienced significant bleeding through the gauze and was unable to reach anyone at the office for assistance. She ultimately had to call another dentist for advice on managing the bleeding. A few days later, she still did not know whether her stitches were dissolvable, which should have been explained at the time of the procedure. Only after she followed up were arrangements made for stitch removal. More recently, my mother received a crown and experienced severe pain once the numbing wore off. She could not chew and even lightly touching the area was painful. I suggested she request a bite adjustment. Again, no one answered the phone, so she went directly to the office and received an adjustment, but her pain continued. She was advised to take high doses of pain medication despite her age and history of renal insufficiency. She took only what she felt she could tolerate safely. At her next appointment, which was scheduled for a filling, I attended with her to discuss pain management concerns. The assistant who prepared her was kind and explained that the nerve may need time to settle after the previous procedure, and we appreciated that explanation. When Dr. Scarfe arrived, the interaction became uncomfortable. He expressed frustration that my mother had not followed the medication recommendation. I explained that she had concerns due to her kidney function and asked that we speak respectfully and professionally. During the discussion, he acknowledged that he did not know her current labs but continued to insist the recommended dosing was appropriate. As I translated for my mother, the conversation escalated further and he ultimately declined to continue treatment. At that point, I agreed and chose to leave the practice. I thanked the assistant and receptionist for their help and accepted the referral that had been provided. As a healthcare professional myself, I found the interaction disappointing. My concern was not disagreement about treatment recommendations--it was the manner in which concerns were addressed. Patients deserve individualized care, respectful communication, and consideration of language barriers. If communication is difficult, interpreter services or designated contacts should be used. I cannot recommend this practice based on our experience.

It stuck up far above the surrounding teeth but he said it was because of the novacaine; no, it wasn't. I went back again and he ground a little more off, but still didn't ask if it felt alright. He told me it was, it wasn't. It was so bad that it was hard to eat, so I went back a third time. This time he went ballistic and started yelling and screaming at me. He said he went to school for 8 years to study this (dental school is only 3 years). I told him to stop yelling at me, but he was all red in the face and continued yelling while taking a little more off, still not enough. No one's ever screamed at me like that and all over an uneven tooth. I'm in my late 70's and have many fillings, crowns, etc.. Every other dentist asks if it feels alright and keeps going until it does. He won't ask but tells you it's fine (Gaslighting). I think this may have been his first crown since dental school. On his website under "experience" there is nothing. As a grandmother, I would never let a child near this guy. 3 out of 3 appointments were delayed by at least 1/2 hour with no apology or thank you and after the first appointment he didn't even say hello-bad manners. I now have to go to a real dentist to get this ground down to chew properly. The hygienist and the other people here are very nice (I feel sorry for them). This guy clearly needs anger management and shouldn't be dealing with the public until he gets it.

So if I wanted them I'd need to pay close to 4k per implant. Had I known, I'd would have never had the teeth pulled! Now I have all these missing teeth, including my front tooth that everyone sees. It hurts to eat because I chew food on the gums where the teeth were. I ended up having another billing issue when I took my son in. After I left I got a bill some of the X-rays weren't covered. They told me though at the start that it was all covered. I stopped going for a few years to them but then decided to give them one more shot. I took my son in for a standard cleaning. Called and made the appointment. All my info is there to be seen. I came in, had his teeth cleaned and as I was leaving was told I had to pay. I said "I don't ever have to pay for cleanings. They are covered under insurance". She said "no, your insurance changed a couple years ago, now you pay and they reimburse you after". What a lie! I went home and called insurance and found out that no, they are simply out of network now. I was livid because they could have told me that at the start and I would have just found a new dentist. Dental is already expensive as hell, I don't need a dentist that's trying to take advantage of me and make more money. Beware and pay attention to your bills.
