Let me just add my 5-star review to Alexander's General Contracting! Sean did an amazing job relocating our cluster mailbox for our HOA. He laid down a concrete pad and came back two days later to physically move the mailbox. He had to dig up a bunch of shrubbery and plants where the concrete pad was going, and even re-planted them after the concrete pad was done. He always communicated when he was on his way, when he arrived, and sent photos of the project before he left for the day. His estimate was within our budget and did the job in a timely and efficient manner. He left absolutely no mess and just did a fantastic job, over and above my expectations. Sean has been the worst contractor we have worked with. We hired him for multiple jobs and they were all not done correctly. I was surprised at his availability and readiness to start the next project as mostly every contractor I know is super booked for months but I soon realized why... the work he did at our business was horrible. Here are just a few: * Did epoxy flooring in our basement. He blamed the floor and the product itself for it remaining sticky and then cracking. That could have been the case but he also did our stairs and did not bother to vacuum or sweep and just added the epoxy to a dirty floor which looked horrible afterwards as you could tell there was dirt underneath it and even some dog kibble. *Did some drywall and ceiling patches which have been the sloppiest I have ever seen. Even after I asked him to fix it, they remained super visible and raised. *Did some tile flooring and it honestly looks like I did it myself. From cutting corners and not cutting the tiles correctly to fit against the wall, to not doing the grout correctly (which we are now needing to redo), to not making sure tiles are even creating many trip hazards for my employees among other things. These are just a few of the things we experienced. I honestly feel super ripped off. His work is the sloppiest work I have ever seen and I have used MANY contractors. Yes, he is super affordable but trust me, you will end up paying so much more to have things repaired/fixed after he's done. read more

Sean the owner, stated he could do a few projects. Orignally he was coming to quote an exterior project but said he could do any project inside as well if needed. So I said sure, can you quote another project inside. He came into my home and took pictures to quote the jobs. After multiple attempts of trying to contact him over the next couple of weeks with no response, I left a google review that was 100% accurate. Then he responded to the google review stating I was wrong and that he had no record of me. Yet he started the response/repost with my full name even though I just have a letter for my last name on google. Step one proving he was not truthful. Then he started emailing me stating he was unhappy with my review. The the email and google responses went back and forth. Step two proving he was dishonest about the situation... Unfortunately for him, I have camera and video footage of him coming onto my property, taking measurements, as well as him coming into my home where I have video footage of him using his cellphone to take pictures. I have video footage of his truck turning around and parking across from my drive way with his license plate. Each attempt he's made to shade the truth of the situation just confirms that the situation was shady and no contractor should come into your home and take photos for jobs they don't quote. If he wasn't capable or knowledgeable enough to do the job or simply didn't want the job, communicate it. Don't take pictures, ignore the potential customer and then lie about it. No shame in not being experienced enough to do the job, that is why I wanted to find a contracting company that could do it, because I can't. Be careful! read more

We found Sean after speaking to several other contractors and we feel incredibly blessed and fortunate to have found him! While several other contractors told us our basement dreams would not be possible (and also gave us unattainable prices), Sean came in with a "can do" attitude and gave us everything we wanted. We have literally never met anyone who works so hard, while also being efficient. He also is incredibly respectful of your home environment and does everything he can to keep you informed throughout the remodeling process. He is skilled and talented in his trade--there's pretty much nothing he can't do. There really is no one out there like him and we can't thank him enough for all his hard work.
