I decided to schedule an appointment with him after being examined by two other doctors who I felt weren't listening to me regarding the issues I was having with my feet. Dr. Ridenour really listened, worked to get a thorough understanding of my condition, and didn't rush to say surgery before trying conservative methods. The surgery that Dr. Ridenour performed (which was different than what the other two doctors were recommending) was successful - every step of the process was clearly explained to me, and Dr. Ridenour didn't mind "all the questions." I would highly recommend him to anyone with foot or ankle issues.

This review pertains to this entire multi office practice…read more I saw Dr. Evans initially which was about 2 weeks after an acute injury following my usual kettlebell workout. I've been working out my entire life and do not intend to stop. Dr. Evans basically looked at the X-rays they took in the office, told me what I already know regarding arthritis and said "people our age can't workout out like that." Moving less is not something I ever expect to hear from an MD and I do not accept that philosophy. I also expected a thorough hands on examination but he only briefly touched my knee. I requested an MRI which showed a medial meniscus tear but after much research online about the prognosis of surgery I wanted to see if it would begin to heal on its own. And yes I've kept working out by modifying my routine. When it was clear it was not getting better, and I was starting to resign myself to the likelihood surgery was the remedy, I called to schedule with Dr. Mulholland at the Sewickley office. I selected him because his bio indicated more of a sports medicine approach as well as utilizing biologics such as platelet rich plasma injections. So I make an appt to see him, and a few hours before my appt after a period of contending with ever increasing pain and decreasing range of motion they told me they were canceling my appt because "He won't see you. They want you to see Dr. Evans because he is the one who ordered your MRI. I WAS LIVID! My advice: Avoid this practice entirely. They are not patient focused and the office staff is rude and unwelcoming. This is conveyer belt healthcare at best.
