While I just started a new thing to try to improve them, a side effect has been to make my feet hurt more than they ever have, to the point that I feel like I'm walking, painfully, on little river rocks. Ouch, so much. I went to a different foot doctor a month or 2 ago, and I left feeling that he had helped me not at all, and that it was time for him to retire. But I saw the rave reviews for Dr. Facaros, and I decided to give him a try. Well, let me tell you, Dr. Facaros is THE guy!! He bounced into the exam room and greeted me like he'd known me for years, so I was instantly comfortable. Here's how down to earth he is: HE took off my shoes and socks, and, noting a little mud on one of them, HE CLEANED IT OFF THE SHOE. I was astounded. He told me ( the other guy did NOT) that I have not only flat feet, but incredibly flat feet. The bad news is, it's permanent and won't get better. BUT, he gave me great advice, such as getting better shoes, including specific shoes to check out. Then he explained about shoe inserts and the correct one to help my feet particularly, and the alternative of custom-made inserts, and the prices of each. And guess what? He DID NOT try to talk me into buying a bunch of expensive stuff! Not only that, he actually GAVE me a set of the proper inserts. Yeah, GAVE!! Because he saw how much I needed help. Now that''s a great doctor, and a damned good person as well. When I need to, he's the guy I'll be going to see, and meantime, I'll be telling EVERYONE about this great doctor!!

They also gave me exercises and stretches to do at home which I still do. Both times, the issues were completely resolved. I am currently attending for a fall that occurred in October 2022. I injured my right leg. I broke the cuboid bone in my foot and am still experiencing pain. I'm also been experiencing pain in my right knee and hip. I've been attending for about the last month but because of commitments, not able to attend as regularly as I'd like, but It is feeling better already. While the Doctor was running a bit behind, I soon realized why this might have been the case. He is thorough and takes whatever time is needed to listen and make certain his patients understand his diagnosis and available options. After meeting with PA Kelly and her conducting some pre-screening tests, Dr. Arner arrived and began his examination. Immediately after introducing himself to my wife and I, he conducted numerous physical tests of strength and mobility in my shoulder while listening intently to my questions and symptoms. Then came the reviews of my x-rays and MRI results, explaining in laymen terms the issues he observed and options available to resolve the issue. When our appointment was concluding, he advised that my condition was not at the level he felt that surgery would be advisable at this time. This coming from a man who makes his living performing surgeries, but was not "Knife happy" and looking at how he could make more money, but what was looking at what was in the best interest of the patient. I've always been helped quickly when I call with a need or get a return call from someone who can help. They have even squeezed me in quickly when I had a need. You can also tell they enjoy what they are doing. I've been seen here more times then I can count going back 5 years. I have seen Dr. Mauro, Dr. Bradley and Dr. Mauro's PA Michelle (who is phenomenal). Once or twice I have had a long wait, but I understand emergencies happen. Plus one time the issue was with how my MRI was read which wasn't done in that office. Generally they are pretty quick at getting you called back, taking X-rays, seeing the doctor and even being fitted for braces. The doctors are great, work together when they need to. They have figured out some tough issues. They go above and beyond just providing orthopedic care. I have had surgery with both doctors I have seen. This will definitely be where I continue to get orthopedic care whenever possible. If you need a good orthopedist definitely consider this office, especially Dr. Mauro and Dr. Bradley
