I showed him a couple examples and asked for his professional input based on how I style and my daily routine. I went back to Kee for a partial balayage after we had talked about it real briefly during my first appointment. We had a good consultation beforehand, and he took the time to understand exactly the look I wanted, explain the process, and set realistic expectations. Thinking she was going to get it on her way in to make up for being over a half hour late I said yes. That was the wrong choice. The stylist ordered it but asked me to go pick it up across the street. First of all I had never met this woman before in my life. It just felt oddly unprofessional. When she came in she was clearly running late because of a late night and hungover as she discussed her night with her coworkers. It's an open salon, everybody can hear your conversations. The second time, I gave another try because my hair did look good & perhaps it was an off day that first time. This time though, I noticed my hair didn't look as great as the first time and it felt rushed. After spending two hours extra in the chair sitting twiddling my thumbs, and paying for multiple colorings just to match, three additional hours later I had two wefts installed and a cut Only to find they completely forgot to color and install a whole other weft. I left with the promise we would work together on the coloring and install of the forgotten weft at the time of move up. One week after install, ALL wefts had managed to come unsewn at the initial stitching plain as day when looking at me straight on. After a few weeks due to my work schedule, I called to book an appointment and was declined stating Lexi was unsure that I would be a good fit as their client. I believe this to be due to the fact that myself and three of her stylists all agreed the platinum blonde was not the correct choice. You were called out and then asked to be accountable and yet you've managed to not step up once. way to go Lexi, no wonder you're left having to hire more stylists.

She takes her time to understand your hair type, growth cycles, texture, scalp health and how it might take to color. Color My goal was always to use balayage to add some natural dimension with my hair and to minimize the streaky look with grow out. I went from having to come in for a balayage 3 times a year at other salons to 1x/year, maybe 2 times if I want it to look great for an event or if I didn't want to have to sit in for a full balayage appointment. I have long and very thick straight hair, previous colors have gone brassy and I've never had that happen with Jenn's work. She also taught me how to better care for the color in a way that fits my lifestyle over trying to sell me on super expensive products. Cut She takes the time to understand how my hair grows out, which meant I committed to a few cuts with her to really dial in what cut will work with my hair and side swept bangs so that it doesn't grow out shaggy OR heavy. Because my hair is so thick and straight, my bangs typically will grow out and feel heavy leading me wanting to trim it every 2 weeks. With the way she has cut and styled my bangs, I'm able to extend that to a bang trim anywhere between a month to 1.5 months. When it comes to layering the rest of my hair, we've dialed it into a cut every 3-6 months depending on growth and sun exposure. Cut - Men's She also cuts my husband's hair. Yes she will take her time, but for someone who has thinning hair, a regular fade and buzz doesn't always work with his hair because you can see the fade lines. Jenn leads her cuts with education and my husband finally takes care of his scalp and hair as he's noticed a big difference in his hair health with Jenn's support. She's passionate about the art of cutting and styling hair and she's amazing at what she does. Booking in advanced is key as her schedule does fill up.
