I had a lot of items including some heavy furniture pieces. They were able to pack everything and move everything safely without any damages. The boxes and tape do cost extra if you choose to ask them to help pack, so I recommend providing some duct tape and boxes. The costs vary as well but I found their pricing to be very reasonable and the best priced compared to other movers I have used. They were super communicative and were also really friendly people! I enjoyed talking to them during the move. Overall, I highly recommend them and would definitely hire them again for any moving and packing services.

Amanat was quick to respond, I spent about 20 minutes on the phone giving a detailed inventory, got the quote and paid the deposit. The estimate for my two bed two bath with packing and unpacking was 8 hours. The three person crew arrived on time. I walked them through the apartment and they got started. Unfortunately we were five hours in and they had still not finished packing. By the time they were finally unloading the truck, we were on the tenth hour. My husband was putting beds back together and we told them to forget about unpacking, as that would have taken them another two days. The crew was very young and inexperienced. I often found them checking their phones rather than focusing on the job. And as I've been unpacking I've been more and more frustrated with how they packed. Furniture was damaged, items boxed in totally random order (I.e., kitchen items and clothes in the same box), and nothing labeled. I don't know how they were planning to be able to unpack as planned. Some items were wrapped up so securely that didn't need it while other more valuable items were tossed in a box without any protection at all. And the amount of tape used was obscene. I've spent hours and hours cutting through it all. It was completely unnecessary to use that much. And they applied tape directly on items that are now ruined, like decorative storage boxes, high end sneaker boxes and expensive dresses. This was by far the worst moving experience I've had.

His communication was great--letting us know each day when he would arrive/leave, he worked long hours, was very talented in what he did, and IMHO did exceptional work. We were very happy. In our particular case, the final cost was a bit higher than the original estimate, however, it was completely understandable and I had no qualms what-so-ever (and I typically am not so easy in that department) He spent several days meticulously stripping/prepping the siding--doing the job right. He was highly reliable, seemed like a good guy, and I would highly recommend him.

The delivery guy put me on the phone with his manager to talk it over. Yes, returning the sectional was an option, as was taking out my dining room window to bring the sofa portion in that way (hell no!) Or... I could have some pros disassemble it at their warehouse then reassemble it in my living room. Of my three options, the third was the winner by a longshot. As I was the first delivery of the day, I patiently waited until Melo and Sons opened then gave them a ring. Joanne immediately answered and put my nerves at ease. It was obvious I wasn't the first numpty to purchase a too big piece of furniture that needed saving by them. After providing her all the requested information, I had a delivery date for about three weeks out. By the time my Boston Interiors salesperson called to discuss the failed delivery, everything was already tucked and tied with Melo and Sons. When the big day finally arrived, Mike and George showed up right on time and quickly got to work. They laid down moving blankets to protect the floor then brought up the disassembled sofa in several carefully wrapped pieces. Aside from being the consummate professionals, they were funny to boot. It took them less than two hours to reassemble the sofa and at long last reunite it with its other half. That evening, after three long months, I finally got to relax on and enjoy my sectional in its full glory. All thanks to Melo and Sons and their niche specialty.

However, they came early, which was greatly appreciated. The two men that showed up were two for the nicest people. Both men had that leather sectional disassembled, brought up the stairs and reassembled in a few hours. After all their hard work, you can't even tell that the sectional was taken apart and put back together. NO scratches, dents, or rips. There work was impeccable. I sincerely want to Thank them for everything, because my couch would still be sitting in my hallway if it wasn't for their help.
