Gerardo showed up, chatted with me about what I wanted, took measurements, and gave me a bid on the spot. I was moving into a house I was rehabbing and needed a portion of this fence done right away because I have a dog and he hustled to not only build the new portion I needed, but went out of his way to do some repairs on the existing fence to keep my dog safe and secure. He and the people working for him showed a lot of attention to detail, checked in with me often about the project to make sure it was coming along and looking as I expected, and every day at the end of the day the work site was clean and organized. I'm planning some plant installations and a new deck and Gerard's Landscaping is going to be my first call!

They told me that the market has changed and they need their customers to do some research. Then they gave me an arbutrary deadline to join a COMPLIMENTARY 10min call. The number of red flags in 1 message exchange. First of all, if you are in the field don't respond to the message or hire someone who can do it without getting upset that their customer do not know what they need.

We've been really impressed by this process. The construction crews are highly professional. They are thoughtful and careful with neighbors when dealing with moving equipment in and out, noise, and those kinds of things. They are great communicators and set really good expectations about project length and other details. When we asked for tweaks or changes midstream there was never any grousing or grumbling - they were very focused on making sure we were 100% happy. The guys are our crew were Colin, Max and Michael, and Patrick was the Construction Manager. In both cases, the finished projects were even more stunning than we expected. Top notch.

They took my inspiration photos and a sketch, and they manifested it into a natural-looking design that is well integrated in our existing yard. It was on the high end compared to other bids, but his communication and experience led us to go with him. And good thing we did. The resulting project is beautiful. We got large granite rocks, river rock, and a liner underneath all for $4K. Much of that was material cost. The labor they put in was 2.5 days. He introduced himself as JJ from JJ's Landscaping and offered to come by and give us a free estimate on an irrigation system. We called JJ the next day and he came out, did a full assessment, and gave us a very reasonable price in writing (not an estimate, as he kept to his word on the final amount). We decided to go forward immediately and it turns out to be one of the best decisions we've made since moving here. JJ's crew is amazing and they clearly enjoy their work. It took a couple of days to finish our fairly large yard and we now have a very efficient sprinkler system that covers our entire property. JJ even included a drip system for our many flower pots. No more dragging around a heavy hose for watering the potted plants. Our lawn is now lush, green and without the horrible brown spots and the flowers are prolific. JJ assured us his work was not finished until we were happy (which we are at 100%+). We plan on having JJ and his crew out for other landscaping needs in the future. Santiago and his crew did an amazing job on my project! I had some drainage issues along the back of my yard and decided to have a French drain and raised bed around the perimeter of my yard. These guys came in and dug out about a foot or more of the bad dirt, installed a drain and erected stone blocks for the raised bed and filled in with good quality soil and mulch.
