I rarely leave reviews. I don't have the time, nor do I care enough, however, this gentleman, Alex Ramon, is a world class performer and magician, so much so, that I felt compelled to sign onto Yelp(first time in a long time), look him up, and give him a review. If you're in South Lake Tahoe, I highly recommend this show. It is appropriate for young children as well. Alex Ramon is a must see while staying in South Lake Tahoe. My 15 year old son and I have driven up from the Bay Area to play golf at Edgewood and experience the beauty of Tahoe for Father's Day the last few years. A couple years ago while looking for something to do at night, we discovered Alex's show. We have now caught it two years in a row, and plan on going again next summer. Alex combines humor and magic to create a great experience for all ages. The venue is also perfect and allows for a close up view to world class magic. His dog also puts on a great performance for the kids and all the animal lovers out there. He also makes the crowd feel like they are part of the show. We are staying at Harvey's Lake Tahoe for a few days. While walking to the casino, I saw a digital poster of Alex Ramon's Magic show. There was a QR code to enter a drawing to win tickets or to purchase tickets. The QR code links you to his website. This morning I entered my info for the drawing. A few minutes later, I received a text saying that I won 2 tickets to his show!!! We just saw his magic show at 8 pm tonight and it was FANTASTIC! If you live or are visiting Lake Tahoe, do yourself a favor and go see his show. He is very funny, entertaining & interactive with his guests. His magic is amazing! You will not regret it! This is a must see for both locals and tourists. Alex's show is an entire production with cool lighting and music complete with big illusions, card tricks, and a bunch of audience participation. Definitely family friendly (he'll pull your kids up on stage!) Alex is awesome and one thing you'll take away is how genuine he is. The show was about 90 minutes long. Just seen him tonight on his 50 days and 50 shows tour in MN!!! It was epic!!!! Held at a private location and he entertained everyone, all generations of family and friends were laughing and involved. So happy and blessed to be a part of this event. Alex is exceptionally talented. An absolute incredible experience, unimaginable how amazing his magic is. He has a great stage presence, he is naturally funny, and is a great storyteller. My daughter Carley and I love magic shows and have been to several over the last few years. I really did not know what to expect with Alex because I knew little about his routine, but I had a deep feeling this might be the best show to date that we have seen, and it was. His smooth, fluid approach and getting the audience involved was about as good as it gets. I have to admit that his tricks kept us guessing. Went with a group on June 29 since our friend is a major weiner dog lover. We buy our tickets, sit down and they tell us MJ the dog is injured and won't be performing. We wouldn't have bought tickets had we known 1/2 the show wouldn't be available. They never told us the show changed at the door, worst surprise ever. The tickets weren't even discounted. The magician just talked about the dog and showed us videos of the show. I'm sooo disappointed. read more

I went to see Alex's show at Harvey's with my family all the way from Florida. Alex had a great energy, charismatic stage presence, and made everyone feel involved. This is the show to see in Tahoe. His tricks were fast paced and unsolvable. I've seen lots of shows in Vegas and all across the states. Some big name magicians and this guy is definitely up there with them.
