After my initial visit, I had a cleaning scheduled for August 2024, but they made me wait an hour past my appointment time... only for them to tell me it will be a longer wait. What a waste of my time! I end up rescheduling to November 2024. I was able to get my regular cleaning done November 2024, but it was recommended that I get a deep cleaning done ASAP. I freaked out and scheduled a deep cleaning for January 2025. January 2025, I came in for my deep cleaning and they tell me they have to do all my x-rays. I end up having a panic attack because Michele, who was doing my x-ray, hit the back of my throat when she put the x-ray inside my mouth and I began to choke and cough. She would leave for 10-15 minutes at a time and left me with the weighted x-ray chest on me which made me feel like I was suffocating. I expressed my extreme teeth sensitivity, but that was disregarded during the cleaning. It turns out they did a regular cleaning, but still tried to charge me a ridiculous amount for deep cleaning. I was shocked... why try and charge me for a service I didn't receive? Michele did the polishing after and it got all over my eyes and forehead. The floss also broke apart and kept getting stuck in my teeth. It was an overall terrible experience. I kept wanting to give this place a chance, but my hopes were too high. I did enjoy my experience with Dr. Day as he made me feel at ease. Jackie, the receptionist was also sweet.

Friendly and professional! They always do a good job here! Straight to the point and very organized.read more

Thank you to Valerie and Kevin for being caring assistants and taking good care of me. To the front desk team, I spoke to both team members and they were very patient and helpful! My recovery has been great, just like any other surgery you feel the pain once the anesthesia wears off but the fact that I'm not swollen and I feel good is amazing! Although it's the second day I'm still resting but I can gladly say I'm not in any pain or have severe swelling! I can't wait for my one week check up, hoping and praying that my recovery remains as smooth as it is so far! For years I've known that Dr. Le is the go to OS!! An employer of mine would recommend our patients to Dr. Le and now I can see why! Thank you once again Pacifica team! You guys are amazing!

I called Dr. Kanemaki's office Saturday morning, and they were able to get me in quickly. I had to wait a little while at the office, but it was remarkably short considering I arrived at the last minute and they were busy. I've been coming to this practice for about 25-30 years. I absolutely Love the care & treatment…read moreI've received there over the years, plus all the staff were really really great. Sadly with the passing of Dr. Kanemaki (Lord rest his soul) and the selling of part of his practice, practically everyone there now is new. My 1st visit there last year was because my tooth had cracked and I needed a crown. Thankfully I got 1 out of the 2 original doctors left there treated me, but all the assistance were new. When I went back for the actual crown to be put in the assistant had a hard time getting it to fit right, it took quite a while and quite a few times for her to get it in. After that visit I felt as if my crown didn't feel right but I thought it maybe because I was feeling a little soreness from the amount of tries when putting it in and it being new. Unfortunately my crown continued to not feel right and then a little aching started, and unpleasant pain when chewing. I know I needed to go get it checked out but life got busy and I just delt with it until I couldn't take it anymore. Which brings me to present day, just about 1year after the original placing of my crown. I called and they were able to see me in 2 days. When I got there, once again everyone was new to me, and upon checking in the receptionist said she didn't see that I had an appointment. I explained to her that I had called 2 days ago and was told I could be seen on this day. She proceeded to tell me that she didn't see anything down for me and that maybe I called their other office. I said no, I called the office I'm in right now. Before she could say anything another gal there in the front office (who was on a call but I'm sure she heard everything) she jumped in and said to me "It's okay Ma'am have a seat, we will see you shortly." As I was waiting I was able to observe a few of the office staff and dental assistants doing their jobs, but not one of them looked familiar. When I got called back, there were 2 assistants clearly going back and forth as to who was going to take me (pretty awkward). But thankfully the assistant Floř that I ended up with was very very nice and friendly. I had asked her which doctor I was going to be seen by and she told me Dr. Robin. I asked if the original doctor I had seen last year was available. She said no, he was no longer there that he retired. I was a little sad to hear this news. I asked for the only 1 original doctor left which is Dr. Trent Kanemaki but he wasn't working in that office that day. Unfortunately he only works in the Buena Park office 2 days a week. So I was seen by Dr.Robin, she was very nice and thoroughly explained everything that may have been going on with my crown and what needs to be done to fix the problem. I now need a root canal, she referred me to see a specialist for evaluation & CT scan before proceeding with the root canal which is normally procedure. All in all despite the fact that I need a root canal, I feel good and am satisfied with the service & experience I received from Dr.Robin and dental assistant Floř. I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the situation upon checking in. Hopefully everything works out great for my future appointments with ALL the staff there in the Buena Park office.

She has been to three different dentists for implants, and she had the best experience at this office, which is why we keep going back here despite the very long drive. In fact, I've recommended this place to my friend's parents too. I took my mom to all her appointments. Dr. Vu Phan has wonderful bedside manner and was very patient with my mom through the whole process. He answered all of her questions thoroughly and gave her honest answers about whether or not she would need to do additional procedures for her other teeth. He even took the time to teach her how to floss properly. After my mom had the bone graft done, we had pretty frequent follow-up appointments (about every 2 months) to check on the development of the bone graft. In terms of billing, we had to pay half of the cost on the day of the first procedure, and we paid the rest of the cost later. The office did ask us to pay the full amount before they tried to bill the insurance, but my mom told them to bill the insurance first and let her know what the remaining copay would be, so the office did what my mom asked them to do. The office is clean and nicely decorated with a pretty fish tank. The restroom is clean too. I said ok that's fine but can we put this one back in asap before my gum swells up over the tooth. She claims I have to pay $50. I question why. She claims because it needs a new crown. I'm like ok that's fine but in the meantime I need a tooth. She refuses. Without even consulting anyone. Before I came in for a cleaning the crown was fine. It never felt loose or irritated. It was only after this dentist cleaned my teeth that it popped out. And I remember him being extra aggressive in that area. Either this was done on purpose to force me to get a new crown or its negligence and a refusal to correct for their own errors.
