Her reviews were very positive and convinced me to book an appointment for my son. Apparently, this is a new location for them as I overheard the receptionist as she confirmed appointments over the phone. After filling out the necessary paperwork since this was our first visit, he was seen within fifteen minutes. I really like Dr. Maslavi although I don't really know her but her vibes were all right with me. She told my son that although he isn't fond of dentists that he will eventually like her which I thought was pretty cool. The office is new and has a contemporary look. There are tv screens throughout the office since she is a pediatric dentist. There is also a orthodontist who shares the office with Dr. Maslavi. The assistant was gentle with our daughter when taking photos and getting X-rays set up. Our daughter felt comfortable every step of the way and we never felt rushed. We even walked in to a personalized welcome message on the screen, which was a nice added touch and sweet gesture. Dr. Fung walked us through our daughter's X-ray results and took the time to provide a detailed treatment plan. We had many questions and none of them were left unanswered. We're excited to move forward and am confident that we will be happy with the results! Not to mention, the prices seem very reasonable, compared to similar practices in the area.

Staff: very friendly and easy to work with. Bonnie at the front desk was helpful and accommodating at every step. Some kids here seem to know and love Dr. Shauna as well. Cleanliness: The office/clinic is very clean. I asked and they mentioned that they opened recently, but they also clean and sanitize everything regularly. Smells nice too. Pricing: good pricing, very fair. A bit more affordable than most of the orthodontic offices in the area that I had a consultation with. They accepted my insurance and laid out payment plans as well. Truly, if I could give zero stars I would. This is mainly for their office staff/customer…read moreservice/booking experience. We had taken one of our children here years ago, under a previous insurance plan--no issues, covered by insurance as expected. The doctor was fine and competent, though I didn't think she was especially gentle or patient with such a young toddler at her first ever dental visit in a kids-only practice. Fast forward to now, new insurance plan, add another kid into the mix. I literally spoke with this office 3-4 times to check whether our new dental plan was accepted as in-network, what we could expect to pay for the visit, and to confirm date, time, location, etc. I spoke with two separate people from the practice. I confirmed with them that our plan WAS IN-NETWORK with this office, and that some or all of the basic visits would be covered under that accepted plan. So we get there day of--my oldest is extremely stressed out and scared about the visit, I fill out the basic paperwork, and literally AS WE ARE ABOUT TO WALK INTO THE EXAM ROOM we're told our plan is: Not accepted Not in-network with them Won't be covered at any percentage They then confidently ask if we'd like to just pay for the visits out of pocket, which would be nearly $300 combined. Why the hell would I have dental coverage for my family if I wanted to pay $300 every time they need an appointment? The front office then disputes whether I confirmed these details or spoke to them at all, suggesting I may have called the wrong number altogether. Then how could you possibly have the 2 scheduled appointments on your calendar for my kids??? Unreal. I will never go back to this practice with my family. It's a shame, because we previously liked their office location and my kids enjoyed their many toys and games. But unfortunately they're either so inept and poorly run they can't properly check whether a dental plan is accepted prior to you stepping foot with everyone into their practice, or they are just disingenuous and running a scheme to bring you in, then tell you you're out of network to try and force you to pay a ridiculous amount out of pocket for what should be a routine and 100% covered exam and cleaning.

There's often parking along the side streets, free parking in the back lot, and metered arking on Northern Blvd. Facilities are always clean. Nice bathroom. Love the fresh water fountain with cups. Her staff is always accommodating, and I appreciate the reminder texts. Dr. Leung is often busy, so you'd want to book weeks in advance, but if you have an emergency, keep calling and hope that someone cancelled an appointment. Pricing is fair and the office always tries to accommodate you. Enjoy your trip to the orthodontist! Another plus: After leaving, we always make a pitstop at Lotus Bakery a few doors down and the Donut Craft across the street.

Our insurance actually covers photos but they said our pediatric dentist already used it - which they did not (they confirm submitting for bite wing only not the full mouth that she wanted to charge us for). To be fair this could be an insurance mistake, but they were not helpful and there are a lot of orthos that will do this FOR FREE. Our ortho monitored my kids teeth for two years before starting with no payment to lock us in or sign a contract. For free with X-rays and everything! During our follow online meeting, we discussed expanders being 3k and different options available only to be told that my daughter didn't need it (why did you bring it up?) and the cost was a lot more than my ortho that I ended up using (2k more). I felt that the conversation about expanders was to scare me into being relieved that the cost was less than anticipated. The tone was cold, pushy, and the experience was stressful. Obviously we did not go with this practice. The whole experience felt sketchy, and they were difficult to work with. It was so terrible we stopped going to the pediatric dentist that referred us to her
