A friend referred me to Caliper and I've been taking my daughter here the last two years. Dr. Leung is excellent. She always takes her time and advises me on how to help my daughter - her latest advice is to tell my daughter to stop pushing her teeth out with her tongue. One would think that a parent would be aware of these things. There's often parking along the side streets, free parking in the back lot, and metered arking on Northern Blvd. Facilities are always clean. Nice bathroom. Love the fresh water fountain with cups. Her staff is always accommodating, and I appreciate the reminder texts. Dr. Leung is often busy, so you'd want to book weeks in advance, but if you have an emergency, keep calling and hope that someone cancelled an appointment. Pricing is fair and the office always tries to accommodate you. Enjoy your trip to the orthodontist! Another plus: After leaving, we always make a pitstop at Lotus Bakery a few doors down and the Donut Craft across the street. read more

In 2021, we went to see Dr Leung for a consultation. She tried to charge us $350 for photos that can be "used as credit" for future services. Our insurance actually covers photos but they said our pediatric dentist already used it - which they did not (they confirm submitting for bite wing only not the full mouth that she wanted to charge us for). To be fair this could be an insurance mistake, but they were not helpful and there are a lot of orthos that will do this FOR FREE. Our ortho monitored my kids teeth for two years before starting with no payment to lock us in or sign a contract. For free with X-rays and everything! During our follow online meeting, we discussed expanders being 3k and different options available only to be told that my daughter didn't need it (why did you bring it up?) and the cost was a lot more than my ortho that I ended up using (2k more). I felt that the conversation about expanders was to scare me into being relieved that the cost was less than anticipated. The tone was cold, pushy, and the experience was stressful. Obviously we did not go with this practice. The whole experience felt sketchy, and they were difficult to work with. It was so terrible we stopped going to the pediatric dentist that referred us to her read more

Just finished my Invisalign treatment here and had excellent results. Would recommend!

This orthodontist is the best place that Ive been too for getting my braces and retainers. The doctor and the staff have great greeting and also help me better understand the process of my procedures. Along with reassurance with how the journey is going. All though some oof the time I get pain from having the braces that just means that there in proper condition. read more

Unfortunately, I am sad to admit that I have been a long-term patient under the care of Dr. Cynthia Leung and her staff at Caliper Orthodontics for the past four (4) years and counting. Although I am not a medical professional, I personally do not believe that my teeth were all that bad to begin with; 4+ years feels extremely excessive, as I am still in the process of straightening my teeth. In the beginning, things were fine, mediocre at best. The wait times were fair (20 minutes at most) and the doctor, Cynthia Leung, would see me personally each time. After the first few months, I noticed a drastic change in the service at Caliper. The wait times would increase exponentially, as I would find myself waiting to be seated/treated for hours (yes, hours, plural). The doctor rarely treated me and when she did, the very most she do is glance at the work her assistants had done and that was it. From a business standpoint, Caliper should know better than to bite off more than they can chew, if they are not in the position to take on more patients (which they are NOT), then they shouldn't make empty promises to new patients. If I had known that the service and standard of excellence at Caliper would drop so drastically after my initial few months as a patient, I would have taken my business elsewhere. Caliper Orthodontics has been understaffed and overbooked for many years and although this offers a potential explanation for the embarrassingly poor treatment of their patients, this is an issue that is easily avoided, had they not decided to undertake so many patients with such little staff. Time is money for everyone BUT Caliper Orthodontics, if you're looking for an attentive, committed, and diligent place to get your teeth done, do yourself a favor and steer clear of Cynthia Leung and Caliper Orthodontics as a whole. Save your time and money and take your business elsewhere. read more

Just finished with my Invisalign treatment and very pleased with my results. Jumping with joy!!! I was referred to Caliper by my dentist and so grateful for his recommendation. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating. The doctor was great in breaking down the treatment options and really made this happen even with my tight schedule and moving plans. Big shout out to Christian! He is the best, best at explaining everything, gentle hands when working with my mouth and just all around awesome! Thank you so much Caliper! read more

I've had braces many many years ago but did not maintain with retainers. Recently noticed a couple of teeth shifting and not lining up straight. Caliper was recommend by a coworker. Quickly called in and scheduled an appointment within 1 week. Dr. thoroughly explained my plan in detail. All questions answered with patience. Impressed by excellent service. Would recommend this office to all. read more

Dr. Leung has been nothing but careful, thorough, and attentive throughout my Invisalign treatment for the last two and half years. She is a perfectionist and has been very helpful in helping me achieve my goal of a better smile and improved teeth alignment. Her office was accommodating with their payment plan and they were always excellent at reminding me of my appointments. It was also helpful that her office had later hours so I could visit after work in the evening. There is also parking in the rear of the office. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Leung and her staff at Caliper Orthodontics for a great team effort at helping me through these years for Invisalign. read more

It's sad to have to write a mediocre review for a medical professional. My kids have been patients of Dr. L for the past 2-3 years. The first consult meeting was great- she took time (9:30pm?) to explain to us what our kid needs, how to procedure would go, time it takes, cost, etc. But after that one meeting... crickets. Getting ahold of her has been hard. Waiting for an appointment is even harder. The standard wait time is between 30-40 minutes. We pretty much never get to see the doctor after the very first meeting where she talks you through the process and tells you about the contract and cost. She came recommended by other families but we have truly been underwhelmed. Have we seen results? Kind of? But the whole process feels very blinded and ambiguous. Nobody explains why, where, what, how. No knowledge, no updates, no information. You keep going back once every few weeks... and then you get the bill once a month and you keep paying, and paying. I would've chosen someone else if I knew. But the process has already started and it's always hard to transfer care to someone else because nobody wants to take over someone's job, especially if it's not well done. This practice isn't horrible. But mediocre at best. I would go somewhere else if I had known. I should've known - not all medical professionals are the same. Some treat it more like a business than others do. This is one of those. read more

Dr. Leung was recommended by my dentist and I am very pleased with my orthodontic care and result. I've already recommended her to family and friends. Highly recommend! read more

I had an amazing experience! The staff are knowledgeable, professional, always friendly and helpful and my appointments ran like clock work. There were no surprises along the way. They explained everything in detail so I had a clear understanding of what to expect. I would whole heartedly recommend this place and the wonderful crew to anyone. Thank you! read more

I went through my braces as a teenager but I didn't wear my retainer. I'm so glad I was referred to Invisalign at this office. Dr Leung is so patient and understanding. She is helping me correct my bite with Invisalign. From the moment you walk in there is a modern vibe in the office with an electronic sign in tablet that makes you feel like they are up to date with the latest practices. I'm ten trays away from finishing and I couldn't be more satisfied with the attention and staff there. One time I had an issue with my braces and dr Leung was able to help me in the middle of the night. I highly recommend this office. read more

Wait time is 2-3 hours. Procedure time is 10 minutes lol. Prioritizes outspoken patients. Also does not give a damn about your teeth, rushes to tell you what you should be doing, always saying the same thing and not even mentioning arising problems with the teeth. Highly regret choosing her. Please, PLEASE TAKE YOURSELF TO A DIFFERENT DOCTOR. read more

I just finished my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Leung and I'm happy with the results! It took about 2 years from start to finish but I'm glad I did it. Dr. Leung and her staff were all so friendly and helpful throughout the process. The office can get crowded and there may be a wait depending on what time your appointment. A plus though is that they have after-work appointment hours which are helpful if you can only come at the end of the day. read more

My dentist referred me to Dr. Leung. The staff is extremely professional and respectful (they also follow all covid safety precautions and ask patients to check-in before coming into the office). They answered all of my questions and explained the whole process to me. They also helped me get the best Invisalign price to fix my bottom teeth since it is definitely pricey to get Invisalign. I just finished my last tray and I love the results! Would definitely recommend Caliper to anyone who wants to get braces, Invisalign, etc. read more

Each time we have to wait for more than an hour. The doctor gives you a lower price to locked you in then adds additional procedure to raise the price after you signed the contract, so kind of dishonest and ask you to pay extra for little things. Doctor over booked appointments and looks overwhelmed! read more

Dr. Leung is the only orthodontist that made me feel comfortable with getting treatment. One of the biggest reasons I delayed in getting braces was being self-conscious about how other dentists clammored over my teeth. Dr. Leung, on the other hand, was very patient and extremely thorough in her consultations, and I knew I could trust her immediately. She also gave me a very fair pricing plan for the treatment (even threw in clear braces at no extra cost because of my occupation, which requires a lot of face to face time with clients). I have nothing but respect for her and her staff - all professionals and all friendly. I would recommend her above all other orthodontists.. if only it weren't so packed all the time! Thankfully they are very good about working around my difficult schedule and countless changed appointment times! Love this place maybe a little too much, so glad I found Dr. Leung :) read more

Dr. Leung was amazing at taking care of my dental needs. She took a lot of time to make sure that everything was going according to plan. Dr. Leung also took time to explain what was happening to me in depth, and made sure I understood and was fine with it. She also speaks numerous languages fluently such as English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Straying away from talking about the professional field, she was also very sweet. She asked me how I was doing at the beginning of every appointment and wished me well at the end. I quickly realized that this wasn't her simply just being nice because at the next appointment she remembered most of the things we talked about. Dr. Leung really cared about my welfare. This should be anyone's top choice for all their orthodontic needs. Dr. Leung and her staff are welcoming and kind :) read more

Caliper Orthodontics was my choice from the beginning for realigning my teeth. Convenient location, clean facility, and courteous customer service. Because of work, my process took longer than most other patients, but the doctor and staff were all immensely accommodating. I appreciated that Dr. Leung took time to explain how I can better maintain my results, which I am very happy with! Overall a great experience! read more

So in this review of CO treatment provided to my kids, I will personally walk you through the following: (1) Initial meeting with office of CO (2) Treatment of customers/clients after initial meeting (3) Average waiting time for Invisalign trays (4) Needed areas of improvement for CO Dr. Leung and her staff are GREAT as you meet them the first time, as they want your business. If you're willing to pay cash, she will put out extra time and attention just for you. But that's besides the point. As time progresses and as you're no longer a "new" case, you'll be treated like a forgotten boiling pot in the back of the stove (...still boiling and boiling, what's that you say? can't hear you over the other boiling pots...). Invisalign trays takes an average of What? 2 months for new trays? Do the math people, the average time is 4 weeks (or 1 month). While that 'might' seem like the standard time (according to CO) from the time of impression for the "lab" to send the trays back to CO, it generally takes about 4 weeks. 4 WEEKs for new trays, so why is it after 8 weeks of waiting that we hear ABSOLUTELY NOTHING from CO, and when WE (the clients) followed up with them we were told by a highly apologetic staff named Camila that the lab is missing "something" and when pressed, she then replied it will take an additional 2 weeks (she really sounded like just throwing out a number...any number) for the new trays to arrive. Really ? If your "buttons" fall off, you're likely to be informed that the first time replacement is free of charge but subsequent faulty buttons will be charged by the Big L herself. Accessories will be charged, replacement accessories will be charged if they break. Seriously after we questioned the quality of work performed at her clinic, materials, techniques used..etc, the harassment stopped. It gets annoying. MAKE BETTER ACCESSORIES, USE BETTER MATERIALS, IMPROVE YOUR TECHNIQUES, and HAVE A PRICE-LIST READILY AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC VIEWING. There's a reason why it's called a place of practice, and it's possible that we're expecting too high of a standard. But after experiencing everything described above, even 1 Star is too generous. Take your CHILDREN elsewhere. read more

We are very happy with my daughters result. Dr Leung is great. She and her staff are wonderful. Everyone there is so kind and we are always in good hands. Dr Leung is gentle when she is working on my daughter and her assistant Eva is great as well. 1000% satisfy with their work. read more

Dr. Leung was always very kind, caring and considerate for patients. She is multilingual! English, Spanish, Cantonese and Mandarin. She is trustworthy and always have smiles. Her office is very clean and modern with lots of beautiful plants. There is parking in rear. Over the past 4 years, I have witnessed her clients population grows significantly! However, She still accommodates my schedule and deadline even going beyond her business hours. I really appreciate her professional work and glad our wedding pictures came out gorgeous! I am so frustrated with this place. I can't wait for my child to be finished with braces. For every appointment we wait almost an hour outside before my child is called into the office for his appointment. My child texts me when he is seated and waiting for the dentist. He waits for another 30 to 40 minutes before the dentist comes to him. At his last appointment, I ask my child what did the dentist do. He said she looked at his teeth and said we'll see you in 5 weeks. I asked if she did anything to the braces, he said no. I really don't understand, 2 hours of waiting just to look and not do anything else. This place is such a waste of my time. This place always schedule appointments without any consideration for their clients time. I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere if you don't want to waste your time. read more

This is THE place to come to for all your dental needs. I use to hate going to my dentist and my teeth were definite proof of that. But after being referred to Dr. Leung, I'm happy to say that my dental visits are no longer a horrific ordeal. On the contrary, Dr. Leungand staff are a wonderful pleasure to interact with. With my set of disorganized teeth and an inflexible schedule, Caliper Orthodontics really does the job. I don't think I have to reiterate on how much better my teeth are right now and how friendly and caring is Dr. Leung's treatment from the previous reviews. Not living in New York myself, Dr. Leung had always adapted to my schedule so that I can get to wherever I'm going next rush-free. I am very satisfied with this a year and a half long treatment and wholeheartedly recommend Caliper Orthodontics. read more

My entire family except me has been under Dr Leung's orthodontic care since 5 yrs ago, first our twins, then my wife, who was SO impressed with their results that she wanted hers done, too (she is a singer). The care in follow-ups was so meticulously timed and spaced that the time (6 to 9 months) to finish the whole process did not feel burdensome at all. And the results, good grief, are a night-and-day difference. My son's lower teeth were a scrambled mess before, and are now a beauty to behold. It is worth all the money we invested in their smile and sell-confidence, and one does not have to put up with the metallic looks of the braces at all. This new style of orthodontics is taking the country by storm, I am sure, no comparison with the old way. It is the ONLY way to go in the new century!!! read more
