He broke down the basics of the golf swing, with a lot of examples that I could easily understand. He showed me a video of my swing so I could see when my head was popping up a bit, etc... He also gave me drills to do at home that would help build muscle memory for the new things I had learned. It's definitely going to take some work, but the times I did put together the things he had me work on today, it felt so smooth, the contact was beautiful, and the ball went perfectly straight. I've been out in the backyard practicing the drills and can feel it getting easier already. I'm so happy I finally went and got a lesson. I'll be back to Steve Donnor Golf again soon for drivers and putting. For now though, I actually feel like I'm heading in the right direction for the first time in a while. He also has lots of props for students to practice, such as a piece of flat metal material for me to practice hitting the mark before I hit the ball. Door and looks like a little more private experience and then there are two side by side bays around the corner. You can many many course from around the world or some original Courses. There are also some games. We didn't play those this time but maybe next time. He says the booking is pretty easy you do it online and then they send you a code to get in. The only thing missing is a water station. If the owner sees this please consider a water station with still and bubbly water. Hehe. Some splashes of fruit would be nice too!! Last but not least maybe some instrumental background music. Not too loud but just enough to catch it here and there. Oh. Wait one more thing. I saw two groups bring the kiddos. Patrick shows with images and numbers, and numbers don't lie and a picture is worth a thousand words. He's also not the type that goes and tries to completely change everything, unless it's really messed up. He's smart and realizes that some quirks in one's swing are just too hard to change so he works with it. I'll also add that he gave me a putting lesson that changed my life and I'm now a good putter. The only problem with Patrick is that he's leaving California and moving to Texas, so I'm kind of pissed off :) If you want to get better at golf, Patrick is worth every penny.
