Bob the mechanic was very helpful and reasonable with his prices, Bob called other auto shops and asked for prices because he wanted me to have a fair deal. I'm no car tech but the part I needed was pricey! Other car shops wanted $250 just for the part alone, Bob only charged me $130 for the part. He even replaced my rotors/pads with new ones! Everything ended up costing me $180! He'll work with you in this tough economy. Not only that, while I was waiting for the repairs bob offered me food and a drink! No mechanic has ever did that for me. By him doing that it gave me hope for humanity and I was moved to write about it, good mechanics are still out there and it gives me hope.

Turns out I had to buy two rear hubs, two CV axles, two speed sensors and the Evap canister needed to be changed, then the car wouldn't start after two weeks of having it. This is not a place you want to go to buy a car from because it will give you nothing but problems.

So I had no anitlock brakes no traction control without that drive shaft i spoke to the father and he admittedly said that he knew that sometimes people would remove them to save gas and said that they only purchased cars and make sure that the engine and trans is good and that I should have checked to make sure the draft shaft was there WHAT!!! He would only say it's sold as is! I explained to him I understand what a used car is I purchased a used car all-wheel drive not a two-wheel drive which is essentially what I have without that drive shaft and he still refused to do anything. He said well you might have to take it to court it's as is. He then told me that I needed to speak with his son I asked him if he talked to his son about the situation he said no I asked him to have his son call me and to date no one has ever called I've gone there several times to talk to them in person and again they're never open they open when they want to . I had been taking my car to the dealer or Firestone because I want reputable service. When I had an emergency and couldn't be seen right away, I researched and found Al. They are trustworthy, the prices are fair, and certainly less than what I had been paying at the dealer and Firestone. But most of all, they have great quality service and are honest. Al and his son are very personable and professional and I trust them with my car. I highly recommend them and have referred my aunt to them as well. I am a satisfied and loyal customer!
