I cracked a molar last week while on a trip. Local Dental was recommended by my neighbor and I'm so glad I called. First, the phone was answered by a very polite and helpful real person. Second, they were able to get me in the next day. Went back one day later for placement of a temporary crown. Third, the place is clean, modern, technologically advanced and the staff are wonderful caring people. Doctor Lee showed me on a large screen what was going on with my tooth and how it would be treated. The procedure was painless and he took his time to make sure it was done right. I love this place!

I love that she always knows my name and what time my appointment is when I get there! I also love the calls or texts I get as reminders of my appointment or to notify of an opening of I'm interested in coming earlier. My cleaning was with a new hygienist, Sam. I still miss Martha, but Sam, I believe, is her clone. Like Martha, he is professional, knowledgeable, kind, and has exceptional chairside manners.....and he knows about "2 Phones" The establishment is always clean and classy. The employees are always professional, courteous and knowledgeable about what they do. I have never had to wait more than five minutes in the waiting room before I'm called back to the service room. I also wanted to point out that my first impression of the actual office, itself,, was not great. The walls were dingy, with bad cartoonish drawings. I'm going to assume that it may have been a children's dentistry, at some point. They also had quite a few pleather chairs that appeared dirty because of a significant amount of peeling. Oddly the worst, from what I saw, was in the actual room I was in. Gross stuff! Sorry, but it made me question the quality & cleanliness of the entire office. The next thing is that, or I assume, they use a call center to book their appointments, Which wouldn't have been a bad thing, if they had access to their actual availability or which dentist & location existing patients, would need to be scheduled at. As I've been booked for a certain time slot, only for it to be canceled the next day because of overbooking. The worst of it, was having to drive all the way there for a scheduled appointment to glue my bridge back on, only to be told that my dentist is no longer there. Then being told I needed to make an appointment at her new office, since she did my bridgework. I mean, they wanted to make sure that everything was good with it. Although no offer was made to go ahead and let them do it. Especially because of the mixup. They need to up their game with communication, transparency & clarification between offices and bookings. It shouldn't be this difficult. Super frustrating, gas isn't exactly cheap over here! Nor is wasting your valued customer's time & money. Do better please!

I took my children here on two different occasions before deciding that this place was not meant for me. Here is why: The staff , although I am sure is very well trained, is not certified in how to actually talk to children. My daughter was horrified to go to the dentist and I received absolutely no help from any of the nurses to calm her or make her feel more comfortable. They used techniques like bribing for a gold coin and doing what is good for the teeth. When she absolutely would not sit for the hygienist, I asked for the Doctor to come in. Surely, she would be better at working with children. Wrong. In fact, there were a lot of blank stares at me and making me feel bad that my kid hates the dentist. My son, on the other hand, was very easy to work with, but they wouldn't give him the packet of toothbrush and paste (because he was too young). Huh? He cried all the way home. I found a dentist (who doesn't specialize in children) but you could have fooled me. They didn't have to bribe or trick - they just got on their level and explained everything to them. Kids are little people that deserve explanation. The people at Childrens Dentist are amateurs at customer service.

There was absolutely no sense of customer service or basic courtesy. Communication in this office is clearly lacking, and it reflects very poorly on the entire business. It's unacceptable to treat clients this way, especially when they are simply trying to get assistance. I would not recommend this place to anyone if this is how they handle their customers.

I was called and told by the receptionist that my kids were due for their checkup. I should have checked my calendar cause it didn't seem like it had been 6 months already, so I asked if it had, and she said yes, they were on the list. I asked her to see if there was availability for both of my kids at the same time. She gave me a date of 2 days later, first thing in the morning. We arrived with 4 other families, all there for the same time slot when there's only 2 doctors. I waited 20 minutes and noticed the 2 front office people looking at some information and going back and forth, then they called me up. I was told they made a mistake and it was too early for my kids' checkups. They weren't due for another month. We have to drive about 25 minutes to get to Kids World Pediatric Dentistry. It was a weekday morning; I'm missing meetings, my kids were missing testing, all to take a long drive and be told they weren't going to be seen because they didn't do their do diligence and check insurance information prior to appointments. She gave me a very ungenuine apology. Needless to say, I was very frustrated. I calmly but sternly let her know we wouldn't be retuning. Dr. Torres and the office manager should review their front of the office processes and training. Also, take into consideration other people's schedules. Maybe not set up 5 appointments all at the same time slot, just to keep 3 of those waiting unnecessarily.
