We had to have them come out twice after the work was complete because they quoted us for additional joists and left the wood outside. The odor that was coming from our crawl space and into our kids room was alarming since they were to supposed to have sprayed it for mold....i was told that there was no smell but should buy odor absorbers to help. Charged more and didn't even do the work. The manager/supervisor came out due to my constant complaining of the smell and abundance of leftover joists and was given a story of how well the odor absorbers work.... Hired another company who found that the plastic encapsulation wasn't even done in part of our house and the growth of black mold was damaging the wood. Don't hire these people. Dissatisfied is an understatement.

Not only did they not finish the job the first time, but they left it in such a poor state that I needed to hire another company to finish the work. When I attempted to resolve the matter with the company I was given the run around and asked repeatedly for pictures and proof. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Take a look at these pictures. Would you want a company to come in a repair your joists and just leave lumber unattached? Would you want a company to spray for mold and termites but not actually do that? Would you want a company to remove insulation but then not complete that job and leave trash bags under your house? Well that is exactly what I got.

The cost seemed a bit high, but with the re-treating, guarantee and re-check, seemed fair enough. Dontre and his brother (Elijah?) were punctual and professional. Thank you!

Eric has been doing this for 36+ years and his knowledge and willingness to share and educate on how to be proactive and do things yourselves to eliminate/decrease pests is greatly appreciated. Honest, Quality work which resolved and ant infestation (like thousands) and also flea activity. I have been a customer for many years and in the past impressed with the customer focused response to special customer needs. When I purchased another property in the Bayview area 2 previous GETEM technicians could not get it right. I had numerous "water bugs" (roach like pest) encroaching the interior of the home after multiple treatments. This became intolerable when the Roach like pest were now found in the beds. It was not until a seasoned 20+ year veteran GETEM employee carefully surveyed the home and quickly changed the pesticide approach eliminating any more ROACH like pest in the beds. 2 weeks ago I was offhandedly informed due to "route software" my home would be serviced by a different technician. The uncaring unresponsive "Amy" who manages calls showed no empathy or compassion. She simply showed intolerance to a customer's need to have a seasoned expert to continue servicing the home to prevent ROACHES in the bed. The request to have the seasoned technician continue was not unreasonable given the "route" was adjacent and would not require additional time or expense. The new business model of GETEM is SCREW-THEM (loyal customer). I have moved my pest services to another "family-owned" pest control business who responded within hours and whose service was superior and more affordable. Maybe my $1,000.00 a year residential account is not worth an effort to a corporate greedy company. Final parting words from GETEM ...."I am sorry you feel that way" which sum up the new business model. New Business Name should be "For-GETEM"

My realtor and I will NEVER be doing business with them again and sending them to the BBB. The report we received showed pictures of random nails left on our roof, or a piece of outside siding messed up from a weed whacker (because it is a newer and nice home), so there was not much wrong with it. However, they FAILED to mention the mice droppings in the attic, the gaping roof entry access points that critters can get in to, the burrowed holes in the closets (6 of them actually, in 3 separate closets), the scratches at the bottom of some baseboards, and the burrowed holes in the backyard next to our cemented back patio! We moved from out of state so I trusted them to do things right! We got the keys and within 1 hr I was texting my real estate agent telling him we have mice. We immediately emailed Safe House to tell them about our findings and dissatisfaction, and sent them tons of photos as evidence, but they stated "they don't look for these things....." holes in a closet?!?! They stated "we don't go that deep in the attic." ...listen up folks, they said they don't go that far/deep in our attic, admitting they don't even check out the entire house!!! So we emailed tons of more pictures as evidence and they decided to ignore us. We had to call to get the manager on the phone, to which he asked for more photos, just to ignore us again. I am disgusted by their lack of professionalism, level of care, and lack of duties while on the job. My real estate agent told them he would cease business with them, and they didn't care. They still just ignored us and him. STAY AWAY from this company. Don't waste your $ on these guys who don't even do their job and INSPECT your home.

One day a door tag by Healthy Homes was left on my door and so I gave them a ring. I received instant communication and scheduling. AJ the owner came out and provided me a free estimate but also educated me a lot about my home, the creatures impacting my home and just so much more information than I have ever received. He noticed I had season carpenter bees and woodpecker issues which I suspected but was never confirmed by my 4 years of service with the other company. He was also very loving to my 13 yo dog and she warmed up to him fairly quick. The quote he provided me in comparison to the big name company saved me $600/year. This new quote included my detached garage which was never covered. I basically learned I was over paying for under quality service and products. We immediately book the initial service! During the initial service, I received above and beyond what I had even received with the other company's initial visit. I wanted to cry of joy because my fear of bugs is unreal. He just made me feel reassured that I was in good hands. I can not praise small businesses enough.
