PETA has helped so many people in the local area around their Norfolk office. The clinics spay and neuter dogs and cats for low cost or free, and people in this area really need that. I keep an eye out on my local NextDoor app and I see SO MANY people who are struggling to afford spay/neuter, or more often, affordable euthanasia for their animals. I always direct these people to PETA, and everyone is always incredibly thankful. People who live locally to PETA understand how helpful and important they are to the area for helping animals. PETA has also worked really hard to get laws created or changed in order to benefit animals - like chaining laws, making it illegal to leave a dog outside 24/7 without adequate food/water/shelter or out in severe hot and cold weather. The world needs more charity organizations like PETA to help animals.
