If I could give this company zero stars, I would. I have been met with nothing but frustration related to ALE Solutions. Similar to the other reviews, I get multiple e-mails from multiple different people related to whether or not I am moving out, if I am granted an extension, possible apartments for rent that are not affordable or not in safe areas, whether or not rent is due, whether or not rent is paid, whether or not I need to talk to someone to provide updates to ensure that everyone is talking to each other. State Farm pays them (USD!!!) to do this, when I am the one who found housing right before the pandemic without ALE assistance or resources. State Farm could have just saved money and hired me to find my own housing as I (!!!) owe $244 for rent from March?? Not sure how the math works out on that. If you are "lucky enough" to survive a fire and make it out, good luck finding a way forward for yourself. I wish I had just died in the fire as it would have made my life less frustrating and WAAAY easier. read more

Due to a fire, my family has been temporarily misplaced; this company as been nothing but harassing, threatening to send trucks to reclaim furniture, all while there is still construction pending completion on my home. They've even contacted the place I'm temporarily place to inform them, the rent would not be paid. Which cause the landlord to contact me with concerns. After a traumatic event like a fire and losing a lot. This company has only made the situation even more miserable. Beware if you ever have to deal with this company!!!! read more

Worst customer service ever! As if going through a fire isn't bad enough, then you have to deal with ALE Solutions. I had rental furniture from Rent-A-Center and was told by an ALE Solutions Employee (Shelby) that some of it had been paid off and I could keep it. She told me a 4 peice set was paid off and even included a photo of the bedroom set (which pictured a bed, nightstand, dresser and mirror). I thought this was great news, as we could really use the furniture moving back to our home. However, I then realized that Rent-A-Center gave me the nightstand, dresser and mirror to that set, but a different bed (a bunk bed). I wrote back and asked that since she stated it was a "4 piece bedroom set" I would like to keep the bunkbed as well. She argued with me and finally came back with "good news"....Corporate was going to "let" me keep the bunk bed (which mind you, has been paid out of my policy for almost TWO years) for $125.00. I cannot stress to you enough how much she acted like they were doing me HUGE favor. Because I felt this was an error on her part, I wrote to her boss (Allyson W.) who has yet to respond to me. Additionally, the company didn't even get the dates right in moving my furniture out and they have left it up to me to cordinate furniture removal with Rent-A-Center and my landlord, after the expiration of my lease agreement. read more

This company !!! My insurance company I've never sued anyone in my life ! I need a lawyer!! Restoration company I have proof that all these companies work together ! To make you crack and settle for scraps of what your coverd for! And ale isn't bashful when it comes to putting the squeeze on you !!! I had 28 k plus endorsement money to keep a roof over my head and my sons !! After 2 months I was told if I didn't sighn a lease for 6months now ! I wouldn't have enough to do so !! The place that I had to find myself !! Because nobody in trycites wa will even work with these crooks !! Anyway the rent is 1600.00 a month . I had been staying for twi months in a hotel at 119 a night ! Now you do the math ! 50 % of my allotment isn't helping me it's robbing me ! It's a good thing I had enough money in the bank to cover the lease ! Because at 6 months I still haven't been reimbursed by insurance ! The bad part is that your Insurance company is well aware of this over charging and trying to get you to quit and give up due to emotional stress ! And flat give up on your life and all you have worked for . I don't want a lawyer for me ! I want one for every one of us ! It's insurance fraud and manipulation by the insurance companies ! My family and I were displaced due to a house fire that occurred on Dec 27th, 2017 (we loss everything). ALE has been very helpful since day 1; they stepped in and placed us in a very nice, clean and safe hotel that night. Since Dec 27th we have stayed at a few hotels; they had no problem moving us when we requested (the reason we wanted to be moved is because we were trying to get closer to our neighborhood; most recently we were moved due to the staff at the Hyatt House in Oak Brook--I wrote a review on this incident). We are still staying in a hotel. Everytime I contacted ALE they did all they could to ensure our needs/requesta were being met. They recently assisted us with finding temporary housing. We are pleased with the fact that we no longer have to stay in a hotel (we will be moving next week). Next step they're going to furnish our temporary home with everything we need; we only have to purchase our linen, cookware & any electronics we want/need. ALE has been a big help. We were displaced due to a pipe breaking and flooding our home. ALE worked with our homeowners insurance to place us in a hotel & then a rental home. ALE was great in this area and also scheduling and picking up the rented home furnishings. Now where ALE fails!! First of all do not pay the rental deposit through ALE, they will tell you if you pay through them they will help yo fight for any deposit not returned to you, what the do not tell you is that they want you to pay the deposit through them so they can hold your money. The owner if the rental paid back the full deposit within a week after the contract was up, I have yet to receive our deposit back from ALE, they will not return my phone calls or emails. Part of holding the deposit is so they can wait for the rental companies to report back to them if anything was damaged, the companies are to do the reporting within 72 hrs of pickup, they also hold the deposit until your insurance pays them in full.. our rental items were picked up 8 days before the contract was up and our insurance had paid ALE in full a month before our contract was up, so when ALE received our deposit back there was no reason for them to hold onto it, but they choose to do so anyway & will not return calls or emails. If dealing with this company and they try to talk you into paying a deposit through them DO NOT DO IT! We would have had our deposit back almost a month ago if we would have paid it directly to the owner of the rental home. read more

I was contacted by Ale Solutions to tell me they were going to look for a place for me to stay with my 3 cats and 2 rats for a 6 month period after staying in a nice hotel for a wk due to a fire in my home.. Ale Solutions gave me choices on places to live which was nice, so i got an apt Windor Park and they furnished the whole apt even hanging pic, which i had to pay for as well out of my dep..They put cloth couches even having 3 cats so i would put towels on the bottom so you wouldn't sit on hair then i would take a bowl of water and my hands to get the hair off the arms and back which works great, so at the beginning of my 5 month because Jenkins Restoration finished my house early i was so happy i then started to pack and gather all my belongs to move back into my house i forgot to clean the hair off the arms and the back of the couches i get a letter in the mail that i got charged out of my $1,500 deposit $647.66 because they said i didn't clean the hair off the couches and had to throw them away when they already had holes in the bottom of them.. They say they sent me a letter to my #apt which i never received stating that i had to have the furniture in the same condition as they gave them to me, which i understand and never got the letter which should have been certified.. Worst experience of my life!! A.L.E. provided housing for my daughter and me after a fire destroyed our home. The furniture they brought in had bedbugs and they handled it poorly causing the bedbugs to spread to the other tenant's living area as well. They didn't follow the recommendations of the pest control company to remove the headboard of the bed because this one could not be decontaminated, and when we returned after 10 days away there were nymphs all over the bed. We had to move into a motel while the process was started over again. There were many calls to ALE and I can only say that during a time when we really needed them to step up, they did the opposite by working against a solution to the problem. Here's what didn't work for us: They blamed us for bringing the bedbugs in even though the pest control company said that rental furniture is the #1 cause of bedbug spread. They wanted us to stay in the house and sleep in the contaminated beds to lure the bedbugs out at night so they would cross over the sprayed areas. Read that sentence again....I am not kidding you!! Weeks after the pest control company told them to remove the headboard, they finally came and took it to the curb. I made them put a note on it so some unsuspecting person didn't take it and contaminate their home. When they came to remove the furniture at our insistence, they brought a rental truck instead of their own. And as a final parting shot, the day before we were moving out of town they were supposed to pick up every item they had brought to us and they only took the large furniture items. That's right, without any notice and only learning from the men who were picking up the furniture, they left every single household item in the house. Thankfully we have a strong support system that stepped up and helped us to problem solve disposing of all of the kitchen ware, bathroom items, linens, vacuum, brooms etc. This really was a burden and such a low blow to my daughter and me because we were already so beaten down. I still cannot believe the level they descended to in this entire affair. Our landlord was such a wonderful person and we turned the house back to them empty and clean, but not without suffering from the intentional acts of A.L.E. Solutions. We dealt with many fine individuals at A.L.E. but the organization itself is corrupt and their claim to "care" is only window dressing. If you deal with anyone below the surface employees who are very sweet and kind, be prepared to deal with the devil. Caveat emptor....Buyer Beware!! read more

I was contaced by ALE after we had a devastating flood in our home. I mentioned this was a complete tear down and the contractor told us the rebuild will take approximately 3 solid months. Everything was torn out, flooring, cabinets, countertops, plumbing, walls...you get the picture. ALE assured us all was fine that they spoke to Liberty Mutual and were given the perameters of our situation. I was told that they would be on the lookout for a rental house. They initially put us in a pet friendly hotel to accomodate our kids, malamute and 2 cats, however the hotel states animals cannot be left alone in the room and we both have to work. So off the animals went to day care everyday, drop off and pick up...$800 per month just for the dog out of our pocket! Then we came to find out our hotel stay was $7,000 per month! But don't worry our insurance has $25,000.00 in housing coverage. I raised the issue as to why we are paying so much and shouldn't we find a cheaper rental home if the build will take 3 months? They continued telling me they couldn't find a home in the area that would accept animals over 40lbs, how could they when they are in Chicago and we live in California? There's no local agent to assess your individual needs nor have any specific housing contacts besides the Resident Inn. It was obvious they were not looking. They would call me every few days wondering if I needed more time in the hotel...after several weeks this became unnerving. There was only one agent that seemed to have manners at ALE, her name was Lindsey. All the others basically treated me as if I were annoying them, then they would tell me they had to call my claims agent to get approval if I needed more time, I felt like I had to continue to ask permission to use my own insurance coverage. I had, had it with this company. We were displaced and trying to deal with everyday busy life with kids ontop of a financial burden of over $800 more per month on our credit card AND shuffling animals around everyday. WHY didn't ALE question our case if they were doing their jobs? Why didn't they speak with our claims and suggest we would run out of money soon and the build is not half way finished? WHY? Because they don't care and they don't have the intelligence to keep track of you or your case. Our entire family had to incur over $2000 in hotel costs for only 7 extra days! As well as over $2000 in doggie day care, because they used up our money and we then were getting kicked out of the hotel before the 3 month initial timeline! NICE...displaced again! We stayed another week at the hotel on our own dime..worked day and night after work trying to get the house liveable for our family...it was way to soon, we couldn't afford anymore time at the hotel and had to bring our children and animals back to a disaster. Drywall dust everywhere, saws, tools, materials...unbelieveable. Liberty Mutual and ALE did not do their due dilligence at all. If you want to deal with a new agent everyday not following your case, dealing with agents who have awful attitudes and not care that you incur horrific debt ontop of your disaster, these ARE the two company's to choose. read more

I am presently put out by a fire. ALE found me no solutions i found my hotels and temporary apartment on my own. I had them execute lease due to not having money to pay forward yet again. They are the most impolite people i dealt with. I have low housing limit and they reminded me of that daily. They said they furnish apartment never did they tell me deposit be so high and now reading reviews i am terrified they are going to keep my money. The furniture is so cheap and uncomfortable i wish i never got it. Took bed apart is was so uncomfortable to put on floor instead and frame was the wrong size and held together by tape. I called to tell them of the damage and they said they are aware the furniture is old. I need more housing and they said i hit my limit and they are done. The message was so rude. They did not make this disaster easy on me. When they couldn't find a solution they say oh well try again tomorrow or they try to place me in really dangerous area's. I have been with Liberty Mutual for 21 years I thought they were a top rated company, the fact that they use this company for housing is beyond me. Now they are trying to charge me for finding housing when they did not find the housing.
