The clerk couldn't be bothered to count change back. I counted the money for her. Why do Western New Yorker's tolerate this rudeness.

Listen, I'm just here to tell anyone looking for seeded watermelons (because they're nowhere to be…read morefound in the area) that Niagara Produce has both seeded and unseeded watermelons! Why does this matter? Well, over 90% of the watermelons in our great country are now unseeded and I don't know about you but I care that my fruits and vegetables are not genetically modified and I eat the entire watermelon because health benefits matter. You can and should eat the seeds of the watermelon, they're super duper good for you! You can also eat the rind (yes, you can). Or just save some seeds and grow them yourself. Scary to think so many of our foods are now seedless, this madness has to stop! I could say so much more on the subject but I'll stop now and just add... Niagara Produce is a great place to shop for your grocery needs, they have a great selection of produce, meats and even cheeses if you're looking for charcuterie board goodies. They also have a wonderfully huge greenhouse and selection of beautiful plants, just take a little stroll and enjoy the beauty. And, if you're not into that, go grab a slice of Just Pizza just because! Happy shopping!

It feels like a very upscale shopping experience with a hometown vibe. I went in for a few things and left with a full cart. I love the prices here as they are lower or competitive with other stores. They have a full deli and their produce has a lot of variety with some local products too. They have a lot of local products as well as what feels like things made in house. Super cool to support local here. They also have an ice cream shop and a Just Pizza location inside the store which is great especially if you go grocery shopping hungry which seems to happen to me quite often. All of the staff here were super nice and helped me get everything I needed. We will definitely be coming here more often for groceries now that we know how incredible this place is!

There are also a few Crafters selling their goods and it's a little early for vegetables so most of the Farms are selling flowers and plants until the Harvest. Oh and of course the puppies! In wet weather, it moves down to the parking lot in front of the Ice rink. Parking is available behind the Police/Town offices and Library area. I've been able to go a few times and have been fairly impressed for being a new market/area just getting its footing. They feature about 20-30 vendors and have carefully selected those of good quality without having 10 of the same type of product. Listed from their facebook page (which is updated weekly) the vendors are: Alpine Made, Biscotti for Everybotti, BRD's Forever Farm, Chateau Buffalo, Chow Chocolat, Donna's Pepper Jelly & Jam, Fernwood Enterprises, Gelato Gypsy, Great Harvest Bread Company, Hanzlian's Sausage & Deli, Hard Pressed Farm, Jackie's Kitchen Garden, JJ's Jams, Keeping Traditions, Kornerstone Coffee, Lilies of the Field, My Father's Fudge, Pet Connection Programs Inc., Plato Dale Farm, Susie Cuke's Pickle Company, Sweet Dream Maple Farm, The Pasta Peddler, Village Grove Bake Shop, Weiss Farm, William's Florist & Gift House. Food to eat right there is available from Dukes Donuts, House of Munch, Just Pizza, and DogEars Cafe. Most weeks, depending on weather, I have seen just about every vendor there. They feature a weekly charity/group and have some sort of entertainment from a brass small ensemble to guitar/singer duo for a couple hours of the market. Vendors are all friendly, offer generous samples, and have decent prices. While this is something you probably won't be able to do all of your weekly shopping at, it is a nicely accessible market for this area of the suburbs for some specialty purchases, fresh produce, or just a nice walk-around and snack. I like that they did not try to be too big, too fast and I look forward them continuing to grow here in West Seneca.

Bippert's goes all in the fall, thriving with Halloween decorations, pumpkins, squash, rides for the children and animatronic decor. They have painted Buffalo Bills support pumpkins and it's all really nice, worth a stop. * For Thanksgiving you need one of their pies on your table! Pies you say? Ah yes, for about $22 a pie or so (they're large) you can order pies for your Thanksgiving and they'll notify you when to pick them up. There's always a long line for pick up so get there early! They have mixed berry and coconut creme pie which are my personal favorite but they also have cherry, raspberry, blueberry, apple, rhubarb, and you can find peach in the summer. There are a couple other flavors, I forget but they also have zucchini bread, carrot cake, pastries, cookies and muffins. Yes, they're delicious. Another reason I come to Bippert's is because I eat a lot of eggs and they carry organic local farm fresh eggs 3 dozen for $16. Yes, I will buy their eggs versus going to the grocery store because there are more recalls on eggs than I care to discuss right now. Buy from your local farmer before the store people! Bippert's carries some fresh produce (whatever is seasonal) and frozen meat. I saw today that they had seedless watermelon and I got sad. I wanted to ask them where they get their watermelon but I forgot. I expected a farm to have seeded but I guess not. What is this world coming to if you can't even get a seeded watermelon at the farm. Anyway, visit them when you can, they're open year-round!
