I had a disappointing experience at this store. The cashier stared at me the entire time but didn't greet me, say hello, or speak at all during the transaction. It felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. A simple greeting and basic customer service would have made a big difference. I hope the store works on improving customer interactions. read more

One would expect when returning an item with receipt under the Aldi double guarantee would be simple at check-out ... not for me ... At first, their associate didn't give me my refund. Instead, I was asked if I'd like one. I was startled when I heard that. I did not understand and indicated that should be automatic in conformance with ALDI policy. I was given lip by the associate complaining about not needing to start off the day like this. It didn't end there. My refund was suppose to be easy -- $2.69. I was handed $2.65 after I checked my change. The associate said they had no pennies. So, apparently shorting a customer for change due to them is acceptable to ALDI. I returned to the associate, while she was processing the next customer, waiting for my full change. The associate after processing the next customer then went into their office, brought out a roll of pennies. I handed her a penny so I'd get a nickel. The associate then asked me to give her back all of the change given to me, which I did. The associate apparently didn't understand the math and gave me back 4 cents, not a nickel. Bottom line - the associate kept my penny and gave me back 4 cents. Overall, this is not the way to treat a customer, a comment I made directly to the associate. This whole process should have been completed in less than 3-minutes. I think it all got done in 10-minutes, while the customer line grew. I tried to see if a manager was available, walking to the back of the store, to discuss my customer service experience. I saw no one and left. I really shouldn't have to write about something so small, but giving excellent customer service also is a reflection of workers' attitudes. I got an ALDI associate with ATTITUDE that morning. I noticed after completing my review that the ONLY POSITIVE reviews here (2) were submitted in 2017! It's been 6-years since and only negative reviews ... Wouldn't you say that's a BAD indicator for customer service???!!! read more

they have good prices for items but everytime i go into this store no matter the time of day, there is only one line open, every single time. a lot of people I know have applied to work there and they always denied everybody's application but never have enough workers, clearly. read more

By far thee worst Aldi I've ever been to. The staff is rude and the store is unkempt. I just witnessed one of the male cashiers leave his register, walk to the line of people I was in and yell " WHY YALL ALL OVER HERE? DONT YALL SEE ANOTHER REGISTER OPEN?" I'm still in awe that happened. Disgusting excuse for customer service. Do yourself a favor and go to ANY OTHER Aldi but this one! SMH read more

If you are searching for a reasonably priced food market---look no further! This market may not have all the name brand items but they do have all the awesome prices. Two pounds of grapes for $1.70. Strawberries for $1.29. You can't beat that! They are also sweet and the vegetables are reasonably priced too! Salmon, chicken, steak you name it! All are up for grabs!The newly opened Catonsville store is bigger and has more to offer than this location. (Pics are from Catonsville location) same set up.. Prices here are excellent. What would end up costing 80-100 $ at giant or shoppers would cost 40-60 $ at aldis. It's awesome when you need a nice amount of food and only have 50 to spend. It's not the best selection of brands but worth it when you don't have much money. read more

The cashiers are terrible. Very bad customer service at the Randallstown location. They don't say hello when you get to the cashier's counter. I had a few experiences when they didn't even tell you how much your total was. The female cashier did not even tell me the total.. I was literally waiting a few seconds before before I realized she was not going to tell me. I had to look at the total on the cash register. She did not ask me did I need any bags.. Nor did she tell me have a nice day when she gave me my change and receipt..I will never go to that location again if I can help it.. read more

I had a fairly decent experience this time. I will say this particular store is always well stocked. But word to the wise it is difficult finding the same thing twice. The cashiers on the other hand, not so welcoming one young lady was talking on her phone through a headset but she was talking to another cashier that was working next to her. Store is good, Food is good, prices are good but Closing shift employee are very unfriendly, uncaring and in Human. I work in Laurel and live in Catonsville. After work on Thursday I rushed to Catonsville Store Clearly 4-5 Minutes before Closing at 9 pm. I kept knocking on the door at two employees who were Cleaning while Customers walked out. One was preventing entry and shouting we are closed. I pleaded that i only need a Gallon of Milk and here is the Cash. I will stand outside and wait for you for the Milk which I need for a handicapped Child. It all fell on deaf ears. They even laughed at me for standinding there so long and not going to 7 eleven and why I was standing there. I even said I will make a complaint, you had closed early and have no respect. The tall Healthy Afro American who I had not seen before (must be only few days old at this store} clearly said FOff from the store doors and stop bothering us. One of your customer heard my begging for Milk for a Handicapped Child and came out of her car and insisted I take her Gallon of Milk Free. I insisted on paying to her but she would not take any Money. It goes to show there are still some Good Samaritan in this World. But you did not employ any of these Employee who may have a kind Heart. I will write about this to every media, as I have been Laughed at, Hurt and Ridiculed only because I have not been born here and am a Asian. Treated with total disrespect my the manager Jamie when I went to exchange some bad produce. Have shopped in Aldi for years and have had to exchange a few times in the past but small number in comparison for all I have bought. She embarrassed me in line-for 79 cent cent celery and 99-cent salad mix-other manager would have exchanged-the store advertises on tv and in print how they not only exchange bad items but refund your money for a double guarantee. This is not big ticket items and with the holiday I didn't get to bring in sooner but she would not hear me and said it was tantamount to stealing not to have bought the whole bag back-well once the salad was dumped on top of the dressing and other veggies we saw it wasn't good-so the whole bowl of went in the garbage. I used what I could of the celery as I needed it for a recipe and the rest I put in my trunk for whenever I got to the store. She was mean and vindictive and should not be a manager with her attitude.Some holiday spirit. Oh well. People like her give stores a bad name. read more
