They also have frozen veggies available for moms like me that don't like to deal with the prep of washing, chopping, bagging up produce for the freezer! I can vouch for their popcorn! It great!! (I ONLY buy organic popcorn). The sweet corn is so good!! They do not grow it on their farm but teams up with another farmer that exclusively grows sweet corn for this. Delivered regularly and they even worked with us to order 8 dozen (the one thing I am willing to prep a d freeze or can for the year...that is, whatever is left over after grilling at least a dozen to eat right away!) They have a self serve set up. You park by the little store, go in, grab a bag and shop for what you want. Write down what you are buying and put the paper into the basket- and the money in the cash box. (Cash only operation) They usually have change of you need it in there). They do have cameras but hey, they are trusting us to be honest and if you ask me, they deserve every cent and then some for all the work they do! All in all, it's really a sweet little set up and the staff here are really friendly when you do run into them! It feels so good to support local! Farmers work hard to produce all this stuff and they deserve every ounce of love and kudos we give them!!

The best part is that they deliver to the metro area every week. That is so cool. I hate grocery shopping and get so disgusted with the poor quality of meats, filled with antibiotics and hormones. Same with milk. Now I get raw milk and grass fed beef. Not only does it taste much better, it is actually cheaper than the organic meats at Cub Foods. I tell all my friends about them because I am ecstatic that I now have a source for raw milk. We are lucky in Minnesota that we are able to get access to it. I give it to my dogs, too, and they juts go bonkers over it. My recommendation: try a gallon of raw milk, and get either ribeye or t-bone steak for your first order (and ground beef if you want). Cook up the steak and just take a bite without any steak sauce at first... just taste the pure meat... YUM!!! And with the milk, shake the bottle first (the cream settles at the top). Then, when you are done shaking it, drink a glass of cool REAL milk from a certified organic dairy farm. You won't ever want to go back to store bought milk!!!

But, this is a co-op so whatever you pay will go back to local farmers and product owners so I think it's worth it either way. There aren't a ton of aisles but they have a relatively good freezer section (and even had a sale for 2/$7 Ben and Jerry's ice cream!). Their coffee shop is really cute too. I didn't go inside the book store but it's right next to the coffee shop which also offers snacks and has a small sitting area for you to eat a snack or finish your coffee.

If you are not familiar with Aldi, there are a few quirky things... - if you want a cart, it costs a quarter which you get back upon returning the cart. This is great in that there are not carts randomly sitting around the parking lot. - paper bags cost $.15 each so remember your own bags - they don't have everything like a large grocery store...but they tend to have the essentials. The Aldi store brand is great for canned goods, snacks, and crackers. - they have a constantly changing variety of "aldi finds" which range from a name brand product at a steep discount to seasonal housewares.
