Since COVID-19, they are now requiring masks in order for you to enter. When I visited, everyone complied. The prices here vary. Sometimes an item will be vastly cheaper than from somewhere else and others will be much more expensive. But, this is a co-op so whatever you pay will go back to local farmers and product owners so I think it's worth it either way. There aren't a ton of aisles but they have a relatively good freezer section (and even had a sale for 2/$7 Ben and Jerry's ice cream!). Their coffee shop is really cute too. I didn't go inside the book store but it's right next to the coffee shop which also offers snacks and has a small sitting area for you to eat a snack or finish your coffee.

This week we purchased a family pack of burgers yesterday, set to expire 7/5 that lost its color and stunk up a storm(I understand that color is an additive but 2 days away from expiration, to have the smell this had is terrible) We attempted to submit a form online to run into system errors for a non-existant repapctcha). We called up county market, just to be told to bring it back even though we are up north. Incredibly disappointed in county market of late and would highly recommend avoiding them and using Target and Coborns like we will going forward. Bad food is a fact of grocery, bad customer experience is avoidable.

They also have crop share that you can opt for at the beginning of the year (I haven't utilized that yet). They grow produce organically and almost everything in the store is what's currently ripe. They also have frozen veggies available for moms like me that don't like to deal with the prep of washing, chopping, bagging up produce for the freezer! I can vouch for their popcorn! It great!! (I ONLY buy organic popcorn). The sweet corn is so good!! They do not grow it on their farm but teams up with another farmer that exclusively grows sweet corn for this. Delivered regularly and they even worked with us to order 8 dozen (the one thing I am willing to prep a d freeze or can for the year...that is, whatever is left over after grilling at least a dozen to eat right away!) They have a self serve set up. You park by the little store, go in, grab a bag and shop for what you want. Write down what you are buying and put the paper into the basket- and the money in the cash box. (Cash only operation) They usually have change of you need it in there). They do have cameras but hey, they are trusting us to be honest and if you ask me, they deserve every cent and then some for all the work they do! All in all, it's really a sweet little set up and the staff here are really friendly when you do run into them! It feels so good to support local! Farmers work hard to produce all this stuff and they deserve every ounce of love and kudos we give them!!
