The farmers market is in downtown next to the library that has a free parking lot that was full. This is your typical farmers market with lots of fresh vegetables and next to no fruits but I did find a peach stand. The peaches were $10 a bag so I hope that they are really good because it's about $3.77 a pound. The market had a bbq stand and a cafe to snack on while you're there which I didn't have because I just left my breakfast spot. Nothing really grabbed me except the peaches so I didn't leave empty handed. I saw meat stands, dairy stands, fresh eggs, popcorn, jewelry, chiropractics, honey, root veggies, baked goods, cheese, flowers, soaps etc etc. This was a nice find and a well rounded farmers market but my standard complaint, very little fresh fruit because I always have fresh fruit at home more than veggies.

I even got my knives sharpened! I think 2 things are missing 1) music- some form of music would be great 2) Coffee ( and donuts?). I love waking around perusing the wares with a good cup of joe in my hand!

Tickets are $15 to enter, but there is no parking cost. Bring your chairs, blankets, and kids (with toys) and stake out a spot to relax for the evening. There are a few picnic tables also, if you can grab one first. Our group of 7 adults tried every food option, which included Mexican (fantastic!), stone-fired pizza (great and unique), and burgers with sides, washed down with drinks, all for sale. There is a "no bring-in" drinks policy, but I did learn they do not sell any sodas. There is live music, and we enjoyed Stone Bank Barn Burners, which are 7 musicians who love what they do, and they do it well! Dancing is encouraged. Bring the kids. There is a sand play area and open grass for them to run and play safely. We brought a small table and a card game. What fun! Don't forget to go into the Stone Bank Farm store. There is a lot to choose from, including local meat, wines, cheeses, smoothies, and so much more. The store is open outside of the Night events. Tickets are available a few weeks before the events, so watch the site for when you can reserve your spots. We have enjoyed other farm nights in the area, but have to admit this one is our favorite. The vibe is great, the music is cool, and the entire evening just fun. The gardens are worth walking through to see the super fresh and healthy produce that is available for purchase.

I truthfully thought my mom was lost as we were navigating through what felt like a mixture of abandoned offices and libraries, but we did come to a shop in the back. Upon entering the door, we were greeted by a friendly gentleman. He pointed out samples of the toffee and roasted pecans. There was four toffee and four roasted pecans. He explained each one to us and a few of them were award winners. He asked us to try them all if we wanted. The four of us all LOVED the rosemary pecans. The toffee was good, and I'll be back in the future to get some of that. Overall great options and really appreciate the friendly service and extra explanation on products.

Sendik's - Oconomowoc, WI…read more This Sendik's location has truly become one of our household's favorite grocery stops. From the moment you walk in, it just feels fresh, local, and well cared for--with an amazing selection of produce, prepared meals, and specialty items that make healing, plant-based eating actually feel doable. We especially love the Grapevine Market section, which has some great low-sodium options and dairy-free finds. There's a surprising amount of clean-label brands tucked throughout the store, and the fresh-cut fruit cups, deli counter, and salad bar are all well-stocked and appealing. It's clear they take quality seriously. Gracefully Accessible Notes (as a trach + scooter user): Smooth scooter access - wide aisles, automatic doors, and no awkward layouts or tight corners Clean air - well-ventilated, not heavily scented--big relief for those of us who are oxygen-sensitive Restroom access - restrooms are clearly marked and roomy enough for mobility equipment Kindness counts - staff are attentive, patient, and didn't rush or stare--small gestures, big impact We always leave feeling cared for and seen--not just as customers, but as real people with real dietary and accessibility needs. Thank you, Sendik's, for creating a space where good food and good dignity go hand in hand. #AccessWithSamera | #GracefullyAccessible

My main purpose for stopping in was the bar soap as I was gifted it from my bestie and needed more. Well, this trip to Olivia Di Vita turned into us getting lost in here. Let me tell you I never thought I'd lose track of time in an olive shop... was I ever wrong. First, we were the only ones in here and wow, that was so nice. We took advantage of it and tried as many olive oils as we could stomach which was a ton. What really caught my interest and taste buds was the honey ginger balsamic water. I first looked at this like what am I about to taste? Well, a whole new world! I've been missing out my entire life and I'm officially hooked. The second snack I tried was popcorn with butter olive oil... WOW, talk about tasty and finger licking good. I had to talk some sense into myself and only leave with a small olive oil and the bar soap (remember, the entire reason I walked into this store). Mary Ida was so helpful and friendly. Yes, I'll definitely be back. Sign up for the rewards program and allow yourself time in here to browse, and have fun!
