It's Aldi what's not to love!!!! I grew up with Aldi's so I was super happy to finally have them here in town. The store is just like every other Aldi's in size but they sure do pack a lot of items inside those four tiny walls. I've lived in Europe & I am very familiar with this store and their products. They have great products for great prices. Their produce is always Super Fresh and very cheap. The staff at this location is always very helpful. They don't let the lines get too long before they will open another register to gey people checked out quickly. Only negative is that it's clear across town so I don't get there as often as I would like but maybe that's a good thing, haha!!!! read more

The infamous "aisle of shame" delivered on the hype. I was actually pretty impressed by their difference in general brands. They have drinkable soup bottles, some solid chocolate, cereals and teas you don't see at more grocery stores, etc. They do a good job of differentiating themselves. Bonus: they've got the old school grocery style carts that needs a quarter to release. read more

Super nice staff, pleasant even though they are obviously pressed hard. Good quality and prices. My only complaints have been the parking (especially the handicapped), the related access, and issues using the electric carts. My foot was crushed in an accident. Which brings up a surprising point. This is the unfailing courtesy and consideration of not only staff, but the typical consumer in here. Folks smile, speak, and quite often offer assistance. The only reason I've not offered 5 stars is the parking for me. It's best if you can show up as early as possible. read more

I quit shopping here because it's isn't worth my $$ every box of cereal I've bought here once I've got it home and opened the cardboard box it is not sealed inside. Same problem with several frozen foods. I feel like the fruit goes bad sooo much faster than other stores. I have got some good bargins in there and I can find some items I'd purchase in the store however I just don't find it worth my time or money to go to multiple stores. read more

Have been to this store 3 times, the 4th one doesn't count because we left after 15 minutes Very disorganized, cluttered. Walking in having to "run the gauntlet" of those 2 high walls of stuff in order to even get in to the main store, produce poor quality, no other fresh foods really. No rhyme or reason as to where items are placed, everything just crammed in a too small store. Other than a few neat items from Germany, nothing there I would buy, store feels grungy. read more

I've utilized reviews on Yelp for so many things in my life but had yet to post my own opinions about anything. That changes...NOW. Having heard the name "ALDI" by a few others (who live 1000 miles away) I decided to see where there might be one in my neck of the woods. The closest one to me is an HOUR away in Longview. So I figured the supposed savings could NEVER be worth the 2 hour round-trip. But today I got a wild hair & made the trip to see what all the fuss is about. I'm so glad I did! The prices on the majority of food items is SO MUCH LOWER than even normal advertised "discount stores"...and for great groceries! Gluten-free? They got it. Organic? They got it. Fancy cheeses, meats...definitely not things I thought I'd find in a "cheap" store and yet, there they were. The REASON they are able to pass along savings are many small things I observed. For example...when u grab a shopping cart outside, it costs a quarter (which you get BACK when you return the cart)...clever. If you don't bring your own bags, it costs I think about 10 cents per bag, but that's if you want bags. I brought 6 cloth bags I had from home. They ring your items up so quickly that they pass over the scanner and directly into your waiting cart. Once you pay, you simply move to the side & bag your own or roll it to your car & do it there! I FILLED UP all 6 large cloth bags and a big cooler in my car...for $115. I was stunned. I estimate the same groceries would have normally cost me over $200, easy. I got a bag of plum tomatoes (about 8 of them) for 99 cents. I got 4 giant chicken leg quarters for $1.38. I even grabbed a bag of asst flower bulbs for less than $2! Sorry I'm rambling but really...from someone who has never posted a review...I just wanted to encourage you to go, esp if you're like me and find it harder and harder to stretch that food budget. I'm a picky cook...and I left completely satisfied & committed to returning. Note: like any other store, there are a few items that I passed up just because I didn't think the price was that much different than most places...sodas seemed a bit high. Oh, and I've been noshing on my groceries since unpacking and nothing has disappointed! I'm fixin to throw my giant deli-style ALDI pizza in the oven for dinner...it was $5. read more

Love Love love ...just wished it was in Carthage Texas..I make the trip to the store in Longview as often as I can. Have also gone to the one in Tyler as well and I always come away amazed at how much I get for so little! Store brands as as good or better than some items. read more

Bad location ,crowded & hard to get in & out of parking lot . Store small & crowded. Thats the bad. The good is good buys on quality products. read more
