This is for LEHIGH ACRES store. I notice if your under staff some items aren't on the shelf when customers need them. Temperature control on ALL MEATS should be taken serious and cleaning the meat area shelves are a issue for bacteria growth. Accountability is a must if you cannot hire staff to keep ALL ALDI STORES SANITIZED. Prices are good but what good is it if the customers get sick. News media will be around the corner. I am on a super tight budget, and I love Aldi's prices, but their limited selection of real food like basic staples, varieties of produce, and dry goods, and the frequency of depleted stock is off-putting. I wish they'd eliminate or reduce the aisles of "finds" and processed products, and focus on actual food! Like carry more than a few varieties of dried legumes and whole grains, and increase their selection of produce, fresh and frozen! Lately every time I try to buy tofu, produce, or frozen veggies, they are out of stock. Even the Instacart shoppers complain! It's especially infuriating because these staples make up the majority of my diet, limited transportation is an obstacle to getting there again, and shopping services are an added cost. They were much better when they first opened but have really slacked of here in Lehigh! read more

I like aldis, I don't mind putting a quarter in the shopping cart,you get it back when you return it. Like it like that because I know that I'll get a cart!! Sometimes check out takes a little longer, usually one cashier. I am patient and I understand how difficult it can be as a solo cashier!(lehigh) She is always friendly and never complains!! Associates are helpful and I can usually find what I need. I go in Aldi's for the produce. They have a good selection and prices are good. I also like to try the German items they sell. read more

We visited the ALDI store in Lehigh Acres, FL because of close proximity to Fort Myers. This is our first time in an ALDI store. Prior to our visit, we checked the Yelp web sites about the shopping experience in their Naples location and their corporate web site to acclimate their philosophy. This location is located at Lee Blvd, Lehigh Acres. There is ample parking around the store. The store appeared to be well organized with limited brands and their own store brand to maximize the saving to their customer. We particularly like the idea of use of re-usable bag and if you want brown paper bag, you pay a few cents for them. This is good for the environment and cost saving. An excellent idea! We picked up several mangoes, frozen Spanakopita, cream wafer rolls, canned clam chowder, Kraft American Cheese, and other items. There are also many imported items. Yes, we pick up Deutsche Kuchme Herring Fillets in Curry Pineapple Sauce and Mango Pepper Sauce. I took some photo as I walked down aisles. We check out at the cashier #2. Our cashier, Madison, quickly and with a smile, put our items in the cart. So far so good! I noticed the huge sign "Simply Smarter Shopping", so I took a photo. A young male from cashier #6 told me we are not allow to take picture inside the store. That is really strange, I saw hundreds of pictures from Yelp and Internet with ALDI in Miami and other locations. He replied, "No, I am a member of team here!". So, I show him the Yelp's ALDI store images in Naples. He simply stated this is the store policy and must stop me from taking picture. In fact, he worked in the Naples store before. At home, I check their corporate web site, www.aldi.us and use the Customer Service page to ask whether this is a corporate policy. They ask for visit time, store location, cashier receipt number and other information. At the same time, they ask for attachments in form of jpg, png, gif, pdf, doc, docx and odt. In other words, attach a picture or two! In this location, we are not allowed to take pictures inside the store! This is a new store open in February. Posting store pictures, in effect, gave them free advertisement. This experience at this location turn this review from 4 star to 2 star. ALDI, they need better employee training at this location! read more

I shop Aldi for almost everything. Their store brand is just as good, if not better than traditional "name brands". The store is clean, most of the staff is very friendly. The manager works hard to keep the store running well. I love the special buys that come out every week and look forward to what each week has to offer. Www.aldi.us has a TON of amazing, delicious, health conciencious recipes that utilize products purchased at Aldi. Having just moved here from out of state, I'm extremely glad to have the comfort of Aldi, here in Lehigh Acres. read more

I shop here every week for the majority of my groceries. The quality and prices hear are great and consistent. Helps with my budget for groceries. I only wish they had some fresh kale and collards. I thought it was just the location but I have gone to other locations and try didn't offer it either. But that's fine this is still a great place to shop and it beat going to Walmart. read more

I am a loyal customer of the store in Lee high Acres FL, this morning I went to do my grocery and after I paid and packed up all my grocery, I felt abused by a cashier named Victoria. That woman should not work in your store because she has not manner of been a customer service at Aldi store whatsoever. While I was ready to leave the store she called me and accused me of stealling the cart that she uses to load groceries. Brand-new location as of February 2017, in Lehigh Acres, FL. I have shopped here 3 times since their opening, and I have to say, I am disappointed. I've shopped at different Aldis before, and the quality of the products does NOT match my previous experiences. The store itself is reasonably clean. The staff seem mostly polite, courteous, and helpful. Gallon milk is $1 cheaper than Walmart, and imho tastes better. Take and bake pizzas aren't bad. Packaged boneless skinless chicken is good, if not the best price in town. But some of the food I've been getting here is not up to par. The Fit & Active turkey bacon turned green before its expiration date, and the Lunch Mate 1# turkey lunch meat seemed to go over pretty quick as well. The Millville Instant Oatmeal literally tastes like the cardboard container it comes in. ANY produce, refrigerated or not, will spoil very, very quickly, usually within 2-3 days, even with proper storage, and can only be bought in bulk, which = waste. I find it hard to do a "1 stop" trip bc they often don't have certain items, I.E., they have different types of tomato sauce, but not tomato paste. I am not impressed with the overall food quality. Even for budget shopping, it could be better. Also, this location does not offer as many Name Brand alternatives as I am used to seeing in an Aldi. As of now, they really need to step up the game. read more
