This was a smaller Publix supermarket. Small selections of meat and pricey produce selections were decent. I've been to other Publix stores, and this is not as good. It's fine when you need a last-minute stop within the area and didn't want to drive further. I personally wouldn't shop here again. read more

Was here doing an Instacart order which it will not let me complete anything without all the items scanned she tried asking me if I scanned this one particular item, which was the first thing I scanned I said yes I did. She told me you didn't scan all loud make it look like I was trying to steal it, which is impossible because I couldn't complete my Instacart order without it having it on the order then she looked at it and realized that it was already on there then I asked her. What do you think? I skipped scan it and she said no no no no I said yes that's Vivian today and the time was approximately about 1245 like I'm not a thief and if I was public would not be my first place to steal from. read more

This is a small Publix and if you have food allergies there are not a lot of options. The store was clean, but not stocked well. I also find the layout of Publix to be very confusing and doesn't make any sense compared to Kroger, where I shop regularly. Everyone working was nice and friendly though. I know Publix used to be a higher end grocery store but when they constantly have expired food on shelf's in fish sections, dairy it's shameful. Take a walk through every two days look at expiration dates & pull it before you get someone really sick. The premade salads expire that day you are shopping or the next day your Instacart people are not checking dates they expect you to be on top of your chain. I get a nice grilled premade salmon salad pull the top off it molding. I'm not driving all the way back and it cost like $8.99. We have been in Cape Coral for a month. We stop at Publix several times a week. The cashiers and workers are friendly, courteous and professional. We ordered fried chicken from the deli for a Superbowl party. It was ready on time and delicious. They have a reputation of fabulous bakery. We have tried their key lime pie, bagels, and cupcakes. Everything lived up to the hype. I wish we had a Publix in Ohio! read more

Live there buy one get one. Prices a bit higher but they have very fresh produce and a great deli selection. Friendly staff and very helpful

Ok, so I have 0 issues with this publix either. I usually go to two of them, this is one. Sort of depends on where I am or where I've just been. I come here most of the time leaving work before I get home. I can't say I love the parking lot situation here but anyway. This Publix has continued to excel especially during this pandemic. It's been the only market I've seen to enforce the rules, to have meat stocked up, to have lysol still, and to keep things clean and managed well. Lately upon arrival you'll have a young person wiping down all their carts before the next person grabs one. I've seen employees restocking shelves and cleaning their hands. I see the meat dept. with their masks and hairnets on! They truly are doing a great job with service. Y'all keep helping me out! Thanks. read more

I love Publix stores in general for their cleanliness, the quality and variety of the brands they carry, and the friendliness of the employees. The Publix in the Coral Pointe shopping center is no exception. My only complaints (and the reason I'm giving three stars) are the long lines at checkout, and the heavy parking lot traffic. There are typically only three lanes open--one express checkout and two regular. When I've had only one or two items and attempted to check out at customer service, it's taken a very long time as well because these cashiers are also handling money orders, lottery, etc. I'm not sure why they don't keep more lanes open, especially at peak times. I haven't had this issue at other Publix locations I've shopped at. The other criticism I have is that the parking lot is heavily trafficked and very small for the size of the shopping center and number of stores. There are only two entrances, one of which is at a stop light. The lanes get backed up easily. To avoid the annoyance of all of this, I typically park in the bowling alley's parking lot next door and walk over. read more

Normal every one is extremely nice but today I was in picking up dinner and for the last week they were out of chicken gravy. I understand you need to wait for the next delivery but while I was in that isle they was a gentleman stocking those shelf's so I asked him when he expected more to come in, he turned to and just snapped I HAVE NO IDEA then made a rude face like I was annoying him. Besides that guy everyone in the store is usually very friendly kind of ruin my evening though. Two stars for the day . read more

Started at home when I found Muenster cheese scraps in my American cheese.While waiting for the manager, I observed a young couple enter the store with a dog. This is a DIRTY store with poor hygiene. Had to wait in line with frozen food melting while the people in front of me were still shopping. Bad customer service. I do Not reccomend this store. This store is right sized. It's easy to go around this store quickly without being overwhelmed by its size. It's always clean and the staff is some of the best. Check out their key lime, strawberry cream, strawberry pies and their cheesecake is very good too. read more

This chain is usually over staffed and over priced. They're a monopoly with little competition here locally. Products are good and the store is clean. I have a prescription filled here where walmart has a lower price for the same drug using coupons from goodrx.com they don't price match competitors coupons. Service is not the best but typical for Florida. read more

We got subs and the deli was running very efficiently despite the large amount of customers. Check out was a breeze with the 10 items or less lane. Today I ordered a couple of platters from the deli. I ordered a Publix meat sub platter and a fruit platter. The presentation was gorgeous and the ingredients fresh. This is a great option when you're having friends over and don't feel like cooking. A much better option then subway or some of the other chains. I live across the street, so naturally this is very convenient. This Publix has recently gone through an extensive makeover and its fabulous! New additions include self serve soup and fountain drinks by the deli, and re arranged aisles and floral/bakery depts. I'm in here at least twice a week and the staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help. Much like a previous reviewer posted, it is at the end of a strip mall and you have to hack your way past the mass of cars and pedestrians going to Ross and the Dollar Store. I'm still thankful for my Publix, because I can avoid grocery shopping at the Walmart next door! read more

I've always been impressed by Publix and their cleanliness food quality and friendliness of their staff. I always thought the public Shopper was one of the top probably more intelligent than the average person and always very informed. Being in the store today it just seemed that there were a small amount of people that chose not to wear masks at the total disrespect of the other people in the store. Just remember you don't wear the mask for yourself you're wearing it for the other people around you. This is the first time I've been in the store that the compliance hasn't been 100% I know it's a hard position for Publix and not 7 fault. read more

Before I start my rant, I'd like to begin on a positive note. Every single employee that I have come into contact with at this Publix has been nothing but friendly and helpful, and my negative review has absolutely nothing to do with anyone who works at this Publix. In all my travels across the country, Publix is probably my favorite grocery-store chain. Their Publix-brand products have all been far superior to any other grocery store chain's store brand. In fact, I buy Publix-brand food whenever I can. They also a pretty hefty amount of their own organic line, called Greenwise. And...they carry Boar's Head brand deli-meat, which is the best. Now that we've got that out of the way, on to the negative. If you've ever had dreams of being run down in a parking lot by the elderly in their too-big cars, or if you've ever wanted to be t-boned by the Florida masses as they make their obesity-prone way to McDonald's, this is the place for you. To be fair, this Publix is not in a good spot. It's located at the southern end of a strip mall. To get to the Publix, you need to run the gauntlet past the McDonald's which shares an entrance with the main entrance. Whose bright idea was that? The traffic going in and out of the McDonald's at all hours of the day leaves me little hope for society. Seriously, it's disturbing. And I'm not blaming the patrons of the McDonald's on the placement of the restaurant (I use that term loosely), but I am blaming them for the seemingly life-or-death driving that gets them there. Once you get past the McDonald's, you're into the thick of the parking lot, which is full of people who quite possibly have never learned how to navigate a four-way stop, or perhaps it's just that they've put in their time yielding to others and just can't be bothered to do it anymore. Whatever the case, you take your life in your hands in this parking lot. The parking spaces are situated at an angle, but you can drive both up and down the rows, which I always think is a bad idea because it's hard to see when you're backing up. Watch where you're driving, watch where you're walking, because this parking lot is straight up dangerous. Then you get inside the Publix, where the idiots in the parking lot have traded their cars in for carts. I wish I could say that you're safer from the carts than you are from the cars, but I think that would be misleading. Watch yourself, because no one else will be. And Lord help you if you get stuck at the deli counter behind the little old lady who comes in everyday to buy 2 pieces of lunchmeat. That shouldn't take much time at all, right? Um...perhaps if she didn't have them adjust the blade 5 times. I don't bother with the deli department at this location anymore. As Publix stores go, this one is one of the smaller ones, and it really shows. The selection is far more sparing than the other stores. Maybe if you're not picky about your food (I am) it's not a big deal. It also seemed more expensive, but I could be mistaken on that one. I know I'm not paying almost $6 for Velveeta slices. So yeah...my most recent visit here was most definitely my last. There is another Publix just north of this one on Pine Island Road that is much bigger and better (and conveniently across the street from the Super Target). I will have to give this particular location some credit for the elderly though...if you are elderly and you can make it through the parking lot, this store is easy to navigate and requires much less walking than some of the bigger stores. Having taken my Grandma grocery shopping in the past, I know how important those smaller grocery stores are for people who don't get around very well. read more

I am a regular at this store and i have noticed nothing but bad things over the past few years under the new store manager. I have seen the prices rise (just in this store not in the other local Publix's) and the welcome feeling that I loved about this Publix faid . The way the decorations have been this past year is just plain sad for a Publix. I see the store manager walking around(rarely) and he never greets me its seems to only be the managers below him that take pride in customer service and they seem to care about customers more than just making profit. Most of the employees are very well spoken and are very helpful when I ask for anything. I have noticed that the goods in the store run out VERY VERY commonly and this has been a problem for some time now. I asked about this to the store manager about it once and he just surged it off and offered a rain check at customer service(not even flowing me there to help!) I wanted the store manager to make this problem go away not to blame it on something that just happens and he can only shrug at me.(RUDE RUDE RUDE) The good: I try to stay away from the bakery only because every time I go in I see it everything is so perfect looking and when I do get a cookie or cake its perfect! The produce and deli are always great at this store and is part of the reason I even shop there.
