Reason 5,672 that I love Aldi: got these K-cups first through Instacart for $1 a box....yes you read that right! 12 K-cups for $1. I knew these cups were legit because I previously tried the other flavors. After I tried the Maple and forced myself to indulge in the Pumpkin Spice, I knew that it was best to go stock up on these wonderful blessings before it was too late. Much to my surprise, the cups were actually 86 cents in store (Instacart usually marks up the prices). So what did I do?? What I had to do.... Grabbed as many of these items as I, and my kids, could fit in our arms! Paid for the items and ran out before they changed their minds on the price! LOL. I lost track of how many boxes we grabbed, I think about 3 pumpkin because that's all that was left and 6 maple. Moral of the story, look out for those Aldi finds and deals... read more

This location is not large but the shelves are always stocked I'm able to buy snacks, can goods, drinks, meats, milk and eggs. I usually go early morning and lunch time. Not really on the weekend or night. I did it once and it was too packed for me plus the parking lot spaces are tight. The cashier line is never long during the day and it moves quick. The prices are great. There are not many name brands which was weird to me at first. I tried a bunch of different items and my family can't tell the difference so I switched to Aldi brand One good savings item is the ground turkey meat. $3.99 at Giant and $3.39 at Aldi. You pack your own groceries if you buy or bring a bag 25cent to borrow a cart but you get it back. read more

This is hands-down the worst Aldi in the entire world. Their selection is abysmal, about 1/2 of what you find a normal location. But the worst part is the staff. Somehow they have found every lazy halfwit they could get their hands on to staff this location. Today I popped in at around 12:30 in the afternoon and there was a line of five people with only one register open. I stood there with my two items watching a woman unload a cart filled to the top, just unloading the cart took her 10 minutes and the cashier didn't even start ringing things up until the conveyor belt was full. At that point I looked at the four people in front of me who all had large amounts of things as well and I put down my stuff and walked out of the store, and I don't think I'm ever going to return. read more

This is where I do 95% of my grocery shopping and I always come here first to see if something is available before trying somewhere else (other places would have a hard time competing with their prices). One time I even came to buy Thanksgiving meals for 21 families as part of a fundraiser through work and cleared out their inventory of some items so one of the managers (Adam) ordered more for me so when I came back to finish my shopping they'd be there. Some times of day there are long lines with only a couple registers open and occasionally the cashier swipes the items too quickly that they may miss a discounted sticker on items that may be expiring soon...so I pay more attention now to make sure things ring up correctly. Sometimes I find items I'm looking for out of place because another customer has obviously just left it in the wrong aisle when they changed their mind...but these kind of things can happen anywhere. Overall I'm really happy with the selection and prices here. I'm now in a rhythm of checking the ads for the following week (placed near the exit) when I walk in and check the current week's ads too in case something goes on sale the following week and I just need to wait a day or two to buy it. I really love that I can come to this Aldi regularly and that the staff will recognize me--it makes the experience that much better! read more

The former Bottom Dollar location in Lansdowne. A large gluten-free section, with a much better selection than other Aldi stores in the area. They now refrigerate a lot of produce which should help. But the produce that was out was meh, it just looked picked over. Let's face it, fresh produce is not Aldi's strong suit. Lots of healthier frozen products, much different from 10-15 years ago. They have a lot of cheap yogurt (including Greek) but the sugar content is super high. That's still true for a lot of their snacks. Watch the expiration dates on anything dairy or cold food related. read more

It pains me to write a poor review of an Aldi (because on the whole I love their stores) but this one has really gone down in quality/service since it opened a few years ago. The store is typically pretty messy. It's not a rare occurrence to come in and find one of the big crates of boxes blocking your way or something spilled on the floor that hasn't been cleaned. I've also started noticing more and more that things I go in for will very frequently be out of stock. Last night, practically all of the leafy greens (spinach, most salad mixes) were fully wiped out and the cold produce shelves on the whole were very empty (and what WAS there was incredibly disorganized). The meat section was also pretty sparse for a Tuesday. And the staff, while polite, don't seem to really care about their jobs. I've witnessed employees stocking the shelves who were practically THROWING things onto or or off of the shelves. I've gone through the check out with my cashier being on their phone or having a full on lengthy conversation with another cashier or someone else in the store. I continue to go to this location, though, because it's much more convenient than the Glenolden location (which I find to be more organized and better stocked.) read more

First this is a supplement to my normal shopping at Giant or Acme because I love a block away so for a long I treat this as a corner Store. Cons the lines are ridiculous I will go to the Walgreens for milk if I'm in a hurry ... after watching a few reviews On Flav City YouTube channel I've Expanded what I buy organic milk organic greens organic ground turkey and beef sprout bread you get the point all at really good price points I do agreebatore can be unorganized and carts/boxes in front of shelves I just don't understand ..... do you want to sell the product or what. This was my first time visiting this location, as I usually drive out to the one in Lansdowne if I need to make a Aldi run. Within two minutes of entering, I knew I would never return. The aisles are more thinner, the floor needed to be mopped, smaller selection than I've seen at other locations. Also, Watch out for past expiration dates! I made the mistake of not checking before bringing some things home. Now I'll have to take a trip tomorrow just to return it. read more

I have finally made my peace with this Aldi, but that's really all I can say for it. Its location is super convenient, right by the train station and library, unlike Giant, which is in the opposite direction from everything. So I kept trying, in spite of its off-putting selection of packaged foods whose existence explains a lot about the health crisis in the western world. Initially, I bought some of those cute little European-style cookies. Big mistake. Their Petit Ecolier knock-offs tasted like saltines with melted chocolate chips on top. Next, I thought I'd go for something harder to screw up: pasta. Also a mistake. It cooked up into a mushy mess, a texture I've never encountered in pasta before and hope to never encounter again. So then I set a rule for myself: henceforth, I would purchase only single-ingredient items from Aldi. I buy milk, cream, and butter, and, as long as I know I'll use it up quickly, organic fruit. I also discovered that they have a surprisingly good cheese selection, with sharp cheddar, parmesan, and even gruyere, and I semi-broke my single-ingredient rule to happy result. Everything else, however, is off-limits. No matter how tempting those teatime biscuits look, I will never again risk it. read more

I am not a fan. However because of the location I normally run in here when I need small grocery items and I don't feel like going to Giants. The most annoying thing is that there is normally only one line item regardless of the time of day you visit the store. In addition, the cashiers normally have no priority to keep the line moving, as they sit in their chair and casually ring up the groceries. I've also found that the shelves normally are not organized, which makes it hard to shop. Also, they don't always have what I need so it is normally a hit or miss. The produce normally doesn't look fresh to me so I normally would not purchase any from here unless it was a one off and it looked good. You also have to pay for carts and bags which is another reason why I normally do not do serious shopping in here. However you can sometimes find deals and items cheaper than the larger grocery stores. read more

I do and don't like this store. I love Aldis in general but when you have associates who don't want to help customers it's a problem. I went in one day I was ready to check out. To lines were open. I had a lot of items my carts are normally full. But this one day is why they got 2 stars I got to one register started putting my items on the belt for this rude associate/cashier to say I have to go to the other register. I started to pick my stuff up and go and the other cashier was taking a break and she told me to put my stuff back up. So mad at this point she apologized but I was extremely mad I didn't say anything because no it wasn't ok. So not all my items would fit in the one cart so she did place them in another cart. Now normally this happens. But the cashier usually let me take the cart unload it onto the table and bring it back.... NOOOOOO not this one tells me to take the stuff out of the cart! I work in retail and if I did that to a customer and treated a customer unprofessionally they way she did with me. I would be fired.... I refuse to go to her register when she is at the register which is rare cause I guess she thinks she's too good to be a cashier! read more

Their produce was moldy. Green onions were brown in some places...strawberries had fuzz on them....floors were dirty...cashiers were talking among themselves complaining ....won't go in there again read more
