Funny enough when I walked inside it felt similar to the small sandwich/produce shops I grew up with in central PA. This must be such a beacon to the local community. Fresh veggies, fruits, hoagies, salads, desserts and so much more. What more could you ask for from your corner store? It wasn't very busy when I popped in on a Monday afternoon. I got to chatting with the staff behind the counter. Super nice and eager to help/make suggestions since I informed them this was my first time. I ordered 2 regular hoagies, 1 seeded and 1 non. Wifey split with our daughter and they got the regular Italian, I was looking for something with a little kick so I got the hoagie with the imported Italian meats. I'm not a fan of wet bread (most people probably aren't) so next time I'll get the roasted red peppers on the side and add them to my sandwich at home. The flavors of both hoagies were on point, my wife said she thought she won the meal (her's was better) however I believe that it was a draw, it's just what you're in the mood for. The hoagies were packed with meat, awesome sharp provolone, plenty of toppings without spilling out and expertly constructed with just the right amount of oregano. DELISH! I have a feeling I will be coming back sooner rather than later. I also got bread pudding to go as well as a chocolate peanut butter whip dessert. I'm not a bread pudding guy but the PB was next level. Great value for the quality. I can see why they were featured in Philadelphia Mag. Hoagie edition. Do yourself a favor and stop by with an appetite.

This is where I do 95% of my grocery shopping and I always come here first to see if something is…read moreavailable before trying somewhere else (other places would have a hard time competing with their prices). One time I even came to buy Thanksgiving meals for 21 families as part of a fundraiser through work and cleared out their inventory of some items so one of the managers (Adam) ordered more for me so when I came back to finish my shopping they'd be there. Some times of day there are long lines with only a couple registers open and occasionally the cashier swipes the items too quickly that they may miss a discounted sticker on items that may be expiring soon...so I pay more attention now to make sure things ring up correctly. Sometimes I find items I'm looking for out of place because another customer has obviously just left it in the wrong aisle when they changed their mind...but these kind of things can happen anywhere. Overall I'm really happy with the selection and prices here. I'm now in a rhythm of checking the ads for the following week (placed near the exit) when I walk in and check the current week's ads too in case something goes on sale the following week and I just need to wait a day or two to buy it. I really love that I can come to this Aldi regularly and that the staff will recognize me--it makes the experience that much better!

It's a mostly Peruvian menu and the food is incredible (and super affordable). I went in this morning expecting a standard corner deli and was delightfully surprised to walk out with a delicious order of arroz a la cubana. The space is clean and the people are nice. I'm excited to have this place in the neighborhood and hope they do well!
