I walked over with my grocery and as usually she doesn't greet you, she literally stares at you and starts scanning. I am not sure who trained her but she obviously missed the customer service class. Now it was time to pay my bill, I decided to split the payment with cash and card. I have done this at Publix , Walmart you name the store. I handed her the cash first and before I could let her know I was splitting the payment she says "so why you giving me this". My reply' Am I not able to split the payment?' . She didn't not even reply instead she split the payment, told me the balance then pushed my cart to the side so she could proceed to the next customer. It is obvious that she needs retraining,who wants this kind of treatment especially now that we have a pandemic?. I know that I am not the only customer to find an issue with this cashier. About 48 hours later, when I cut it open, it was completely bruised, black, and rotten inside. There was no way to know it was defective at the time of purchase. When I returned with the receipt, the store refused to refund my money because of its 24-hour return policy. I asked to speak with the manager, waited about 15 minutes, and watched him walk right past me without acknowledging me or addressing my concern. That level of customer service is unacceptable. This experience, along with my concerns about the cleanliness and handling of produce, meat, and seafood, has left me with little confidence in this store. I believe the City of West Palm Beach and the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services should inspect this business for food safety and sanitation. Buyer beware. There are plenty of other grocery stores that value their customers. I won't be returning.
