Woohoo! Another new Aldi that opened up in Queens and this time in Jamaica, Queens!!! There's a few bus lines that stops around here. The grand opening was a few days ago and my parents said that they gave out reusable tote bags, keychains, and coupons. I came here to checkout the Aldi with my dad today. The supermarket has wide ales, fresh produce, and other miscellaneous items. The staff is very friendly as well. I'll return again soon.

The bottle features a colorful label with an image of the snack and branding. The background includes other snack items and ice cream products, indicating a retail environment.

They have a hot foods section - brown rice with veg (peas/carrot) and 4 options of sides will bring you to $12. I opted for their special of 2 lunch orders to get a free large soup (16oz). The guy really packs in the food so for $12 a box it's def worth if you're in a time crunch and want a filling vegetarian meal. To order, order at the counter, pay at the cashier, and bring back your receipt to collect your food. The food is mildly seasoned and not super oily which I love - I def go home to add hot sauce/red chili flakes at home though. After I got the food I walked around the store to look around. Not sure about the fresh produce, but the dairy section is sooo pricy compared to what I'm used to at Trader Joe's for things like organic milk or non-dairy yogurt. I get that it's a small business but for the amount and speed my household consumes dairy, we got to go for Trader Joe's.

They have healthy options for sour cream, cookies, teas, ice cream, cereals, pasta, sauces, flour, milk, cheese, chips, etc. You name it. They have it. Let's face it - the only trade joe's in Queens is a mess. Way too crowded. And the nearest Whole Foods store is in Manhasset, NY. That's too far if you don't have a car. This store gives queens residents another option for organic, healthy food without having to wait in long lines at Trader Joe's or drive all the way to Manhasset, NY. By the way, this store's vitamin shop is AMAZING. The person who is in charge of the vitamin area is knowledgeable in what to offer clients based on their illness. This store also serves shakes, and meals, which I have yet to try. A "healthy meats" store (extension of this store) opened up nearby and I'll check that out too.

To whoever the boss is: Disappointed with cashier 7 at Yongfa Supermarket on Main Street today…read more I put 3 bags of meat in a poly bag on the belt. She scanned them, slide them to the end, and when I asked her **in Mandarin** to put them back, she snapped, "我唔知,你沒問我,你要好好講先!" ("I didn't know--you should've asked nicely!") I replied **in Mandarin**: "我放進袋,你就應該放返入袋。" She was impatient, shoved them in rudely, and kept arguing with me first in mandarin and then in Cantonese about "what I'm supposed to do" and "what she can't do." Rude, defensive, and unprofessional--bad enough that I had to find a manager to complain on the spot. This kind of service is unacceptable. Hope management addresses it. #CustomerServiceFail Additional note: the ladies in the office added me to your WeChat group to post my complaint. Then when I posted it someone by the name of Sheng li removed me. I don't know what's the point adding me on WeChat and then remove my complaint without addressing it.

I am a Hispanic woman and this is my 2nd time experiencing discrimination at this store (8/30/2025) and it's unfortunate because I've lived in this area for 6 years. customer service is non existent but i too would be miserable working in a dirty shop too. they throw your receipt and change at you with no regard. JUST RUDE + MISERABLE they promote sales with rotten spoiled fruit and vegetables. absolutely not worth it. one of the butchers stopped me from buying meat once and I never did again. may this business be bought and sold to another owner YOU GUYS ARE HORRIBLE

However, I find that they are improving the quality of items provided and the workers do their best to help customers. I was literally in here today, and one of the workers saw that I was buying the more expensive brand name eggs and wanted to remind me that they had another super sale item available. I thought that was a nice touch and that they were trying their best to provide that customer support when available, even if it meant potentially less revenue for the store. Overall, the grocery store does seem to be maintained well and the aisles are clean and free of clutter. I know I will come back just because it is in the vicinity and very convenient. But I only have three stars because it's really not my favorite supermarket to go to and it's definitely not my first choice either. Either way, if you live in the area, you can make this store work for you by watching sales and buying produce when you see the workers putting out fresh deliveries.
