Outside of my veggie-heavy CSA haul, here's what ends up in my tote bags: -FRUIT: West Michigan is the fruit belt after all. The season starts with strawberries; peaks with peaches, apricots, nectarines, watermelon, cherries, raspberries, tomatoes, and BLUEBERRIES; and winds down with apples and pumpkins. -MORE VEG: Basically, you name it, and you'll find it at the market. -Maple syrup: you're very lucky if you can get your hands on the varieties infused with whiskey as well as elderberry. -Blank cards: go see Marguerite, she's a talented artist, and she also makes delicious jams. -Cheese: the Cheese People of Grand Rapids know their stuff. -Sourdough loaves -And during blueberry season: blueberry muffins from Bowermans...or blueberry donuts...or blueberry handpies. You can't go wrong. That's about all I can fit (and afford) on a weekly basis, and know that there's so much more deliciousness...and plants. There's a lot of those too! The market is also market-ing on Saturdays. That's when it's a full house in terms of vendors. If there's one vendor you can't pass by, it's Rudy at Fantabulous Fudge. He's been slinging *the best* fudge in the area for years, and in the fall, he makes some bomb caramel apples using orchard apples. Lastly, I recommend coming in the spring, summer, and fall if you can swing it, as there are certain vendors that only make appearances during certain parts of the season.

The flavor profile was not too sweet, so creamy, light and airy yet decadent. The perfect blueberry flavor. The sandwich was also very good. The scone could have been skipped. It was probably one of the worst scones we've ever had. I wish we had more cheesecake :) Overall, so worth the trip!!

The store has a ton of cute and delicious gifts, foods, etc. The kitchen has a couple pizzas and sandwiches. On the one hand surprised there's only two pizzas highlighting the blueberry. On the other hand, we had the blueberry pesto pizza which was fantastic. Really unique flavor, not overpoweringly blueberry. Definitely admitting I was surprised at how much I liked the pizza. I think Bowerman's is now going to be a regular addition to our Michigan trips!

But on the other hand if you need a handful of ingredients for a recipe or have to pick something up that you forgot earlier then this store fills in the blanks. The one thing that they do very very well is their deli. They have a wide assortment of things like pasta salads and chicken wings etc. It's a great way to get something to round out a family dinner or get something to add to your lunch. We come here around 4-5 times a month for small things. And given the proximity and the past salad it'll likely continue to be a place we stop by.

Well organized, and the people who work there are easy to talk to and very pleasant. Prices aren't as cheap as amazon or Sams or Walmart because this isn't that kind of store. This is a real store full of local, real produce, so of course it's going to cost more. All organic stores do. You get what you pay for here, and you get the same at those other stores, too. If you decide your health is important then you pay a bit more and get a lot more, and while you're getting healthier you are supporting the people who treat their soil right, and are giving you a quality food. There are big bags of rice you can purchase (different grains and brands), kitchen supplies, snacks, cooking supplies, ramen and more! Many snacks and desserts to choose from. Nice amount of cuts of meats you usually don't see in your everyday grocery store. They also have a few selection of korean products like buldak noodles and yellow pickled radish. Next to the shop is a nail, boba, and pho shop in the same plaza all owned by the same family. Owner is super nice!

They don't know how to smile or be nice! They look mad all the time. The cashiers ?? Why do the move 100 miles n hr?? Is that necessary?? They may do their job right but they need training on their attitude Horrible customer Service! It's the worst of all the stores in my area. And I'm not just speaking for myself.

But it lacks the size and overall selection that this one has. I try to buy as much as possible off my list here. Prices are always better than normal grocery. We buy 30-35 items every time we're here and haven't spent more than $60. If you're new to Aldi there are some things you should know. One of the biggest is to bring a quarter for the carts. You get the quarter back though. Another is that you should bring your own bags. They have bags here but you do have to pay a small price. Another thing about this Aldi in particular is that I always run into staff that are knowledgeable about the store and where to find things. I will continue to do as much shopping here as I can and I encourage you, your friends, your dog, and your friends dog to do the same.
