Way better prices than other big stores around them. Also I love that you never know what will show up in their famous aisle.

Bowerman's on 8th is a love letter to the humble blueberry, written in the language of warm lattes, fresh pastries, and shelves overflowing with jars that seem to bottle summer itself. As someone with a dairy allergy, coffee shops can sometimes feel like places built for everyone else. But here there was kindness in the details--different milk options, thoughtful choices, and the feeling that everyone should be able to enjoy a good cup of coffee. Traveling from out of state, this was one of the places I circled on my map, hoping reality would match the stories. Somehow, it was even better. The blueberry latte was the kind of drink that slows time. Bright and refreshing, sweet without trying too hard, tasting like a morning walk through a Michigan orchard after the rain. Around me were cases filled with treats and shelves stacked with jams, syrups, and every blueberry creation imaginable, each one carrying a little piece of the region's soul. There is something beautiful about a place that chooses one simple thing and perfects it. Bowerman's does not merely sell coffee--it celebrates harvests, local traditions, and the quiet joy of gathering around a table. You leave with a warm cup in your hands, a bag of blueberry treasures under your arm and a feeling of satisfaction. Some places are worth the drive. Some are worth the hype. Bowerman's on 8th is both.

I'm not sure how I've never been to Bowerman's On 8th until recently. This cafe/bakery is a cute…read morespot right downtown. I had fun looking around at all the things to buy -- lots of spreads, coffee, merch, blueberry things, kitchen items, stickers, etc. I loved that they had big bags of frozen blueberries for sale - next time I'll bring my cooler! I was heading to dinner so I didn't get any food, but their menu features sweet and savory breakfast options, lunch sandwiches, bowls and salads, soups, even dinner options like a burger. Everything sounded great so I'd love to come back for lunch. The pastry case was calling me, so I got one blueberry donut and a blueberry lemon donut to take home. They were fresh and lightly glazed. The lemon was my favorite. There is a seating area and this looks like a really nice place to enjoy an afternoon. I will hopefully be back soon!

This is the best farmer's market I've been to! Super easy to figure out- plenty of (free) parking,…read morepublic restrooms available, and booths of all kinds. I like how the vendors can easily back up a truck to unload their things. Even on a rainy day, we had a great time! Just wish there were a few more vendors to fill the empty spaces.

Still a five-star farmers market. I have a CSA through Eighth Day Farm, so I've been coming weekly…read moreon Wednesday mornings. Outside of my veggie-heavy CSA haul, here's what ends up in my tote bags: -FRUIT: West Michigan is the fruit belt after all. The season starts with strawberries; peaks with peaches, apricots, nectarines, watermelon, cherries, raspberries, tomatoes, and BLUEBERRIES; and winds down with apples and pumpkins. -MORE VEG: Basically, you name it, and you'll find it at the market. -Maple syrup: you're very lucky if you can get your hands on the varieties infused with whiskey as well as elderberry. -Blank cards: go see Marguerite, she's a talented artist, and she also makes delicious jams. -Cheese: the Cheese People of Grand Rapids know their stuff. -Sourdough loaves -And during blueberry season: blueberry muffins from Bowermans...or blueberry donuts...or blueberry handpies. You can't go wrong. That's about all I can fit (and afford) on a weekly basis, and know that there's so much more deliciousness...and plants. There's a lot of those too! The market is also market-ing on Saturdays. That's when it's a full house in terms of vendors. If there's one vendor you can't pass by, it's Rudy at Fantabulous Fudge. He's been slinging *the best* fudge in the area for years, and in the fall, he makes some bomb caramel apples using orchard apples. Lastly, I recommend coming in the spring, summer, and fall if you can swing it, as there are certain vendors that only make appearances during certain parts of the season.

They don't know how to smile or be nice! They look mad all the time. The cashiers ?? Why do the move 100 miles n hr?? Is that necessary?? They may do their job right but they need training on their attitude Horrible customer Service! It's the worst of all the stores in my area. And I'm not just speaking for myself.

Alright let's embark on the magical adventure that is Aldi!…read more First let me say that this is the best Aldi that I've been in. The one on 24th street is good. But it lacks the size and overall selection that this one has. I try to buy as much as possible off my list here. Prices are always better than normal grocery. We buy 30-35 items every time we're here and haven't spent more than $60. If you're new to Aldi there are some things you should know. One of the biggest is to bring a quarter for the carts. You get the quarter back though. Another is that you should bring your own bags. They have bags here but you do have to pay a small price. Another thing about this Aldi in particular is that I always run into staff that are knowledgeable about the store and where to find things. I will continue to do as much shopping here as I can and I encourage you, your friends, your dog, and your friends dog to do the same.
