    How do they do it?
    Mike O.

Discount (and huge value) grocer that will save your pocketbook, and yet bring you all the basic comforts that ye might need. A buyer's dream. If there's one in your town, make the trek and go for it. I hope I might be the "friend" that turns you on to Aldi, as I was over years. Give it a try! Who needs Wegman's or McCaffrey's where gourmet temptations and massive staffing rocket your bill easily to $1,000? Everything you really need is right here! How do they do it? A typical $250 bill is just $60! Here's how: they choose one brand, sometimes their own, for each thing. Want toothpaste? You get Colgate, one size. Want deodorant? You get Old Spice. Want cola? You get Coke (or their brand). Such is the way of Aldi. No figuring whether you want to obey this advertisement or that, just simple choices at excellent prices. COVID-19 This review is a personal thank-you to this Aldi's. Each Saturday at 9am, I stood outside to be among the first inside, cleaning my cart, and then rushing, safely, through the one-way aisles to grab my groceries, and head to the register. It was my one and only outing every week, for months. And months. Aldi's helped us with stringent mask requirements, and those one-way aisles. Remembering when toilet paper came back and we were limited to two packages. When masks arrived and they were $30 for a box of 10. Elsewhere they were $50. SOME EXAMPLES $1.06 for a dozen eggs. $3.99 for a (sometimes) beautiful bouquet of flowers. $7.99 for a huge (10 patties?) pack of hamburgers. $0.45 and $0.55 for canned veg and legumes. $0.75 for bag of cilantro. OOh, my favorite was the brisket. Crock Pot that thing into salty pleasure that lasts for days. Bagged fresh veg to safe the pickers' trouble. You get a bag, baby. WISHING Heh. Over so long, what are my wishes? More diverse ethnic food. Like enchilada sauce. Watercress. Mexican coke. More reliable stock of diet drinks. Sour-cream donuts. TIPS (THEY ARE CUTTING COSTS, SERIOUSLY) Take quarters to get a shopping cart. Return it when you're done for a refund Take your own reusable grocery bags. After your checkout, you'll bag your own groceries before leaving Help them break down cardboard by placing empties in the large bins throughout the store when you take the last of something But in the end, when you're looking at a $60 bill for a huge cart of stuff, I'm ok!

Aldi's Simply Nature brand of items taste good and are inexpensive. All organic and gluten free (in some cases).

Aldi's is great for many things (although, I still need to go to Shop Rite on occasion to pick up other grocery items), but what I am able to get from Aldi is great both in price and quality. Aldi has gluten free and organic items at prices better than local grocery stores. I have bought organic vegetables (spinach, lettuce, carrots, tomatoes), gluten free pancake mix, organic pasta sauce and salsa. They all tasted great and the prices, according to my estimation are about 25% less than the regular grocery store. Aldi sells its items under its own brand, so don't go looking for name brand items. Everything is private label and some of it is imported from Europe as well. I always take a look at their red hot special of the week which is usually a seasonal or household item. I've bought some great hanging outdoor planters as well as small outdoor tables at 50% of the price I would have paid at either Home Depot or Target. Red hot buys only apply to whats in stock. Once it runs out that its. The items available rotate every week. I'm certainly a fan.

Great location for this Aldi's located a short walk from a Retro fitness, Staples, etc. Competitive prices on produce, organic and gluten-free products, frozen items, fast check-out, ample free parking on the shopping center parking lot, credit cards accepted, etc. Please remember to bring your own bags and a quarter if you were to need a cart.

Don't know how I feel about frozen sushi..interesting

I usually go to the one near me in East Brunswick, but I was in the area, and decided to check this place out.

I have found MOLD on many of their oranges, their grapefruit are dried out (not juicy at all), and I had a hard time finding a honeycrisp apple that didn't have a bruise or bad blemish. If you want better produce that is actually CHECKED by someone for quality, go to a supermarket. If you want cheap food and you don't care about the quality of the food, you can probably shop here.

Today is their grand opening! Cleaner, Better and awesome produce. The set up is similarl to last…read moremarket but aisles wider and easier to navigate. Prices are comparable but would rather go here than shoprite. Fresher produce and better selection. The perishables, deli and other odds and ends still higher in price, but personally I'm there for fruits and veggies. Still has flower stand. Milk, eggs etc. Now bigger refrigeration section, cheeses, whipped cream, sour cream etc. Basically if you dont feel like going to another store or need something quick that you forgot in big store they have it. Dry goods and spices in bulk. Lines move quickly as per normal. I'm so happy it's back, no more traipsing around looking for my odd ball essentials and being disappointed. Poblanos and shiitakes here I come!! Since my local farmers are done for the season, it's nice to have one stop shopping for all my produce needs at affordable prices. Yayy check them out. Definitely worth it. So many ideas for cooking. Produce is beautiful and delicious.i hope they continue to keep up the quality and quantity of today. I believe imo it's a better store then what was there much cleaner and you're not bumping into other people when you're shopping. Cash or credit is acceptable.
